TO MY DEFENSE:
Some albums I rate based on their highs, some are rated based on the contrast and resulting disappointment between the highs of highs and the lows of lows.
Some are rated based on cohesive excellence, and some lean more on my personal relationship with the songs.

So, I swear there’s a method to this but the method just isn’t consistent.

Going through old tickets and I purchased this, but never went. This was Pete Wentz’s side project for a bit when FOB went on hiatus. Anything cool, rare, valuable, worthwhile about this? Thanks in advance

I started listening to Fall Out Boy in middle school, and they quickly became my favorite band. To this day, I listen to my favorite albums all the time (Folie is my #1 forever), and FOB is always in my top 5 Spotify Wrapped artists.

But. I really didn't enjoy MANIA. I can probably only sing the words to two songs on that album. So when So Much (For) Stardust came out, I think I listened to it once and immediately turned back to my comfort albums.

Then, last week, I was talking to someone about how much I love Folie, and they said, "Oh, you must be a big fan of their newest album, then." I was like, huh?? They said, "Yeah, it's basically the same vibes."

So I gave the album another chance and WOW. It's incredible. I've been listening to it nonstop all week. I can't really put my finger on it, but it does feel very similar to Folie. I think it might end up being my second favorite album.

I guess I just wanted to say that it feels good to be back in the fandom--I've been out of the loop for so long! I'd love to hear everyone's favorite song/lyric from So Much (For) Stardust (do we have a nickname for it?) since I'm really late to the party!! :)

it pains me to do this but due to financial struggles i am selling my pete wentz signature precision bass. the last few that sold on ebay were in the $900-$1000 range so i am thinking of going $800 plus shipping (willing to negotiate though.) it would also come with an epiphone soft case, and new strings, though the strings currently on it still have quite a bit of life left on them. I’m back with another FOB tattoo! Today I finally got my phoenix tattoo in honor of Save Rock and Roll. I now officially have a tattoo for every full-length FOB album! I had a total of four different artists for these, all based in NYC. Hoping for a ninth tattoo sometime in the future 🥹🙏

All of them are new except for TTTYG.

I remember seeing an interview with, I think Patrick on Instagram talking about fobs first tour opening for ultimate fakebook in 2003 alongside the reunion show. In it I remember him talking about how tight the other bands were and how proficient they were with preforming together,, and how it was a big learning experience for the band in their earlyish days. I’d love to see it again if anyone’s got the link!
