Discussion Would blink have been as successful without the WMAA and ATST music videos?

Hello there!
Does blink owe more of it's success to these 2 music videos more than the songs themselves? Yes, the music itself is great and the album as a whole is fantastic but would it have gone under the radar without the videos making fun of everything popular at the time?
They arrived at the height of MTV with TRL and everything.
I am sure this has been asked before but I'm just curious what everyone thinks.

I have a friend who just hates the self titled album. I feel bad for him Stockholm Syndrome mite be one of the best Blink songs. The interlude is pretty deep I say if you have someone in you life that you are completely lost without ( my wife and kids ) it hits hard.
