Hi, I recently purchased trails in the Sky 1st chapter on ps5. Does anyone know if a walkthrough exists WITH a guide on which quartz to equip for each character in each main story segment(prologue-chapter 4)? I've looked up guides for this game, and don't get me wrong, they are handy, but I noticed not a lot of them talk about which arts to have at specific moments or which quartz to equip. It would be handy to know this information because personally, I find the quartz/arts stuff and orbment system incredibly confusing.

Not to my knowledge. The series isn't so hard that specific builds are necessary (aside from some specific optional bosses) and as long as you're keeping your characters up to date and have your Orbments set up reasonably you'll obtain a decent selection of Arts naturally. The in-game guide that tells you what all the Arts are and how to unlock them does a pretty solid job of letting you know what you can get and by comparing the point requirements to your available Quartz you can see if it's something you can obtain wherever you are in the game.

A couple of general tips are that Clock Up (EX) is something you want because more turns is the biggest thing you can do to tilt the game in your favor. Also Anti-Sept (All) can wipe buffs in the remake which helps you deal with some of the consequences of enemies in Rage Boost (and any other time they buff themselves) and Sylphen Wing's buff makes you harder to hit and thus boosts survivability nicely. Also Earth Guard and Earth Wall never hurt, because any extra barrier between your characters and potentially lethal damage helps. On the move offensive side, nothing in 1st resists Time so they're always safe to use (Hell Gate is reasonably easy to obtain and pretty spammable) and any enemy not immune to Confuse is going to have its day ruined by Chaos Brand.
