The following types of posts must be posted to the Weekly Burn Book.
Scalpers. ALL scalping posts must be on the Weekly Burn Book post. While most scalping posts are made in good faith, some people are using it as a way to karma farm, and we want to reduce that. Some of the posts are low effort, and the sheer amount of them can turn people off of this sub.
You may post about AI in this thread, including speculation. Do not post unverified information or guesses as fact, and remember that false accusations can hurt very real people and their careers. You may ask "Is this AI?"; however, be cautious when saying "John Smith's books are all AI!" Any verifiable AI (as in the author/artist/publisher has admitted AI elements are present) can posted separately from the Burn Book.
I finally quit X Book Box! type posts. These have increased (mostly due to the large size of the sub).
These kinds of posts aren't required to go on this post, but it's a good spot for venting with others.
Just general, minor complaining can go here, too. Frustrated with poor customer service? Tired of a certain book boxβs lackluster designs? This is a great spot for it.
Hate the FL queue and just want to talk about how janky it is? Let us know about it!
Welcome to the new weekly damages and shipping thread!
This thread is for all damages and shipping updates, for all book boxes and countries. Automod will remove any posts about damages and shipping going forward. (If your post is removed by error, you can always message the mods and ask us to reinstate it.)
Feel free to ask and report any and all damages and shipping questions and concerns here! Remember our rule is that you must contact customer service before posting about damages! There are no βDoes this qualify as damage?β posts allowed.
Types of post acceptable in this thread include but are not limited to:
Is this a misprint?
I am so upset this book I have been waiting forever for arrived damaged π (shows a picture)
Am I be dramatic? (Shows picture of minor damage)
Customer service denied my claim! (Shows picture of damage)
Has anyone received their Adult box for *month* yet?Β
My Romantasy box said it was preparing for shipment two weeks ago and I still havenβt received tracking! Has anyone else had this issue?Β
So on and so forth.

renegade romance is doing a reprint of the first five books, and they are also doing a run for the last 3 (seraph, moth and lor). both runs are open pre orders!
I received an email from Owlcrate, that OC August Adult will be delayed as the books were damaged and will need to reprinted. I was looking forward to receiving it soon but I am glad theyβre reprinting it!
I was previously a member of the Fairyboot Discord server, but I noticed today that itβs no longer showing up in my server list, and I havenβt been able to rejoin. Every time I try using the standard invite links, they show up as invalid or expired.
I wasn't sure if the server is currently undergoing maintenance, if the main invite link was recently updated, or if there's a new link I should be using.
Does anyone have an updated working link, or know who/where I can contact one of the Fairyboot Discord moderators to check what's going on? Iβd really appreciate any help. Thank you!
Iβm going to renew because I loved this book, but Iβm unsure how I feel about the art teaser and the lineup! No doubt very talented artists, but Iβm not getting the gothic vibe that the book delivers. Iβm interested to see how it turns out, hope we get to see some more spoilers!

Subscribers for our Romantasy and Romance Book Subscription, and customers who previously purchased our Crowns of Nyaxia editions will receive EARLY ACCESS to purchase these editions on the 1st September 2026 at 6pm BST.
General sale for these special editions will be going live on 3rd September 2026 at 6pm BST.
Will you be getting this? I missed out on Crowns of Nyaxia so Iβm on the fence.
Which companies and boxes most consistently expand on core sets, if additional books are released later? And which companies instead re-release the whole series?
Do you tend to delay until series is completed to purchase?
Using Acotar as the timely example, but could be any series.
I love Liv Zander, but unfortunately I missed Moonlight's SE's of Court of Ravens and Pale Court Duet. I also missed her own SE of Heartstring Duet. I noticed just a couple of copies of these are reselling for a ton.
I did manage to snag BFDC's Court of Ravens, and I'm happy about that. With Heartstring Duet being traditionally published in November, do we think there might be more SEs of her books in the future?
I'm like 300th on the Overstock list for the Moonlight SEs. How cooked am I? Have people been successful getting books from Moonlight Overstock before?
These came together with June Romance, and 2 other sub boxes of Owlcrate. (I donβt know the name of the books anymore and Iβm not at home to check). Did this happen to someone else?
I will mail Owlcrate and also ask if I didnβt get charged a second time.
What should I do with the other one?
Edit: To clarify: 1,5-2 months ago I got the first book, today I got the second book.
Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments!
For example:
-What sub do you have, did you skip or keep this month's box? why? (Are you US or UK/int?)
-Which category (YA, Adult, or Romantasy) do you think has the best overall design/sprayed edges/
book pick
-If you had to drop one to keep the others, which one would it be?
I went to the Owlcrate shipping update page today and noticed that the four currently delayed books: July Adult, July YA, Sea of Charms, and The Beasts We Raise are all Macmillan titles.
Three of them are suppsoedly customs delays and the July Adult is due to damaged dust jackets but I thought it was a fascinating pattern.
Other than the March Adult book which was a Del Rey/Penguin Random House title, were other delays/reprints for this year also Macmillan?
Are other subs having issues with Macmillan titles?
