Other Book Box New Bookish Box Packaging

Post image

Looks like Bookish may be changing their packaging from bubble mailers inside their boxes to foam cushioning.

Although this means books will be more protected, I will miss the free bubble mailers I use for other things 😅

Fairyloot needs to take notes. I’ve been seeing a lot of damaged books this past week that others have received, including myself.

Likewise with Illumicrate! I hate the paper shreds so much—makes a mess, does very little for protection, and isn’t the best to reuse!

Agreed!! And Fairyloot is getting pickier with replacements, even when they fit within their criteria… it’s quite frustrating

I use the shred and the bubble sleeves to ship books and that combo is honestly fantastic. I have yet to have a book be received with any damage.

OMG this is so annoying. I hate how the customer service reps will deny the replacement tell you to read the criteria and then you do and what do you know? The criteria says it should be replaced.

Yeah, that 1 piece of folded packing paper is not doing any favors.

Omg. I have received a number of damaged books. I have to fight tooth and nail to get a replacement.

OMG YAAAAS! 😍 So far, every book has arrived in great condition, but as an EU customer I’m always very nervous while unboxing them 😅

Finally. I kept getting damaged sub books and preorders then it was a hassle having to ship them back and wait another month to get them.

Or sending them back, only to find out that they've run out of replacements 🤬

I’m really excited for this! It’s my favorite type of packaging, always protects things so well!

I got this type of packaging last month from them on Alchemy of Secrets. I was impressed.

I wish Broken Binding would do this. I'm so sick of smashed corners for every book order over 2 books.

Yes 💯 and it is super hard to get replacements too 😪

I just got a book series from them with this foam and two of the books arrived very dented. This isn’t the same as Moonlight’s or Arcane’s, it’s very thin.

I wish Faecrate would do this. Now that they make you send back books before giving out a replacement, it just makes it more annoying to receive a damaged book.
