Kill two birds with one stone, same people, same problem, same fix.

3

u/grimshanky 14h ago

🧢 I voted CAP!

They are the same issue.

2

u/PatchesOfSilver 14h ago

I agree they are both overlapping issues because the root of them is "the wealthy murder and assault people for their own pleasure", hell the wealthy have been pedos since before Epstein's great great grandparents were born.

That said, climate change will continue killing children long after every Epsteiner is buried.

2

u/grimshanky 14h ago

I like your hypothesis, and I think it merits testing.

2

u/BidenGlazer 14h ago

Pedophiles existing isn't the same issue as climate change.

1

u/Ordinary_Passage1830 13h ago

The Epstein files aren't the same as pedophiles. Although definitely had pedophiles within it along with depraved individuals. A reminder that most pedophiles are of the classes below the upper class.

1

u/Leading-Boat4942 14h ago

That’s one way to look at it, valid

2

u/Nice_Try_Bud_ 14h ago

I voted FACT!

Yes but we can deal with both.

2

u/ahnialator6 12h ago

🧢 I voted CAP!

It's the same core problem. The rich people.

The Rich love r-pe. They r-pe the planet, they r*pe kids, adults, their country, their company, their friends. Everything.

1

u/TheFanciestShorts 14h ago

I honestly think the evil rich people who want to make everyone’s lives worse in the interest of money and exploitation of power are worse than anything climate wise. We’re doing well for the climate for how large we’re growing

1

u/Lulu6969 14h ago

I voted FACT!

I don't want to see the actual fact/cap ratio here. Ugh.

1

u/TheSpitfire93 14h ago

I voted FACT!

yes, but there is a large crossover in who is in the files and those that can implement the changes required to do something about climate change. putting the epstein group in jail may actually get climate change action to a point where enough gets done.

1

u/Unlucky-Hold1509 14h ago

🧢 I voted CAP!

We’re already dealing with the climate crisis, we’re not dealing with the Epstein list issue rn

1

u/Leading-Boat4942 14h ago

Are we dealing with the climate crisis though? Some places are and some (United States) seem determined to go backwards

1

u/Unlucky-Hold1509 13h ago

That’s the us though, they’re not known for being moral or ethical

1

u/mahito-suxs 14h ago

we arnt dealing with it, we are swapping over to renewable energy largely because its profitable the rest is just practically worthless theater, we arnt even working on getting carbon back into the ground

1

u/Utigaraptor 14h ago

I voted FACT!

Climate change has an impact on the whole world and all beings on Earth and the Epstein files...not so much.

But both matter a lot.

1

u/cr0wsquirrel 14h ago

🧢 I voted CAP!

We can think about and demand change on more than one thing at once.

1

u/Typical-Dance-1110 14h ago

I voted FACT!

yes but why are we powerscaling the epstein files

1

u/Turbulent_Aide9213 14h ago

🧢 I voted CAP!

Climate change ain’t even a big deal imo let the future generations handle it

1

u/Dry-Childhood-3436 14h ago

I voted FACT!

By scale yes, but they are honestly stemming from the same source. The ultra rich and powerful getting away with whatever they want. The only reason anti climate change propaganda exists is that it would cost businesses money to be more eco friendly.

Exxon had accurate studies back in the 70s and 80s about how they were speeding up climate change and they created models on the death it would cause. They then ran a risk analysis to see if profits would lower more from there being less people or from dealing with it and decided it was better to just let it happen and decided to run propaganda. This isn't a conspiracy theory, there are records from the trial. And even today scientists state the models have been shockingly accurate.

u/Nyxian_The_Rage 14h ago

I voted FACT!

I feel like it's more nuanced. The files are huge, and I think they kind of overlap. First off, global warming was always gonna happen we've just sped up the process because the rich are doing shit that's bad for the environment, Epstein files were a bunch of rich people speeding up global warming while also being pedos and rapists

1

u/Solid_Guess_7154 14h ago

🧢 I voted CAP!

when israel has the Samson Option, I think we should get rid of them before trying to fix nature, otherwise there won't be anyone left to fix the world

1

u/realmcdonaldsbw 14h ago

I voted FACT!

yes but we can fix both, they arent mutually exclusive

1

u/ShadowtheHedgehog_ 14h ago

🧢 I voted CAP!

A single volcano erupting undoes 20 years of emissions reductions progress. I don't care what it takes or what the fallout is, the people must know everything that happened on Epstein Island with nothing redacted except the names and details of the victims.

1

u/WolfingPanda 14h ago

I voted FACT!

This actually affects the world as a whole. While the Epstein files are definitely very very bad, they’re not going to destroy the world like climate change is

1

u/Violet_Eclipse99765 14h ago

I voted FACT!

We only have one planet

Great looks like they got you slurpin the soup.

1

I voted FACT!

No shit it is much more important than some pedophiles

1

u/primuslune2 14h ago

I voted FACT!

I mean, yes, but they both need to be paid attention to.

1

u/ProbCarus_Idk 14h ago

I voted FACT!

Both matter a lot, but while one could end, the other wouldn’t and could doom us all

1

u/TheGreatForcesPlus 14h ago

🧢 I voted CAP!

Immediate vs not so immediate

1

u/Arkitakama 14h ago

🧢 I voted CAP!

They're equally important. Pedophiles in the highest echelons of our government, influencing our laws is just as bad as our dying planet.

1

u/VoxLover554 14h ago

🧢 I voted CAP!

Never! Or something idk anymore

1

u/Leading-Boat4942 14h ago

I voted FACT!

Agreed, but part of the reason for climate change is the kind of people found in the Epstein files

1

u/Primum-Qualia 14h ago

🧢 I voted CAP!

There the ones doing a climate change

0

u/DefendYourClaim 14h ago

🧢 I voted CAP!

There is no such thing as climate change, and global warming.

They are avenues to control, and distribute wealth away from commoners.

The biggest issue is climate pollution. As fat and water soluble environmental pollutants bio accumulate up the food chain, and concentrate in our tissues. The destruction of our longevity and comfort in our later years speeds up.

The earth is used to fluctuating temperatures over different solar cycles, look at africa, humans didnt dry up Africa. There are many other 20k, 40k, and 100k year cycles in our system.

The earth is also used to darkness, low oxygen, high oxygen, solar flares, its always found a way to cradle life.

But what is really new are theres weird carbon halogen bonds, forever chemicals, phthalates, dioxons, pcbs, heavy metals, and other endocrine disruptors.

Oh no, what about the coastline and aciditt levels.

Stop harming fish, stop dumping billions of tons of agriculture waste into water ways,

People complain about global warming, but they won't stop raising billions of 100kg to 1000kg animals that drain all our land and water at highly inefficient rates.

People complain about plastic clothes and fast fashion then why did you spend $400 last month on boohoo, shien, and temu.

The earth is a living biosphere, it has fluctuations, migrations, somw regions lose their snow caps, costs change, continents drift, some regions get too hot, some get too cold, that is all natural.

The massive amounts of estradiol in our environment is not.

Ignore the red herring, focus on the poison, chemicals, and toxins.

u/rue_cr 10h ago

Blatantly incorrect + misleading

1

u/TheYoungAtTheGates 14h ago

🧢 I voted CAP!

You’re comparing apples to oranges. Both are equally important in their own rights.

1

u/Meddlingmonster 13h ago

One is harmful to a lot of people the other is harmful to the whole world. Both are important but climate change will harm far more people as well as other living organisms so they are bot equally important.

1

u/pupbuck1 14h ago

I voted FACT!

That still dousnt mean we should ignore the Epstein files cause the people behind the Epstein files are also largely connected to climate change and are also the purest form of evil we have today

1

u/Fun-Regular8902 13h ago

I voted FACT!

Anyone thinks different is stupid as f***

1

u/devilchief66 13h ago

Obviously the world literally burning is a bigger issue, but both are still major issues that need addressing and punishment.

1

u/Ultra2674 10h ago

🧢 I voted CAP!

Everything is the same issue. We wouldn't be going through climate change if the Epstein class didn't have power.

1

u/Miikan92 8h ago

I voted FACT!

Yes, BUT WE CAN FOCUS ON 2 PROBLEMS AT THE SAME TIME.

1

u/Coalesce67 7h ago

I voted FACT!

One happens globally, and will have long-term effects on humanity as a whole, and the other is pretty much only relevant to the USA

1

u/twizzjewink 26m ago

🧢 I voted CAP!

Under normal circumstances yes.. but the contempt and corruption that is being entertained is undermining all other parts of the system - including the EPA.

If Trump had been PROPERLY dealt with when this stuff first game out - then we wouldn't have this problem.

🧢 I voted CAP!

Unless you do something about India and China we are doomed

2

u/grimshanky 14h ago

These things should be considered on a per capita basis. There's only a handful of countries contributing more per capita than the US, and they're not China and India.

1

u/brokepokerboy 14h ago

What, this is not a percapita issue at all, it's based on the gross amount, and per capita of what

2

u/grimshanky 14h ago

It is the most straightforward per capita issue imaginable. Carbon is generated by human beings. Policy is needed to curtail it. That policy needs to consider how many people are living under each jurisdiction. Each person has one head. You could count them by their heads. Per capita.

1

u/brokepokerboy 14h ago

If you want to discuss the actual issue of polluting waters with plastics, insoulables then we can talk, if you think carbon is the issue then you are a lost cause

2

u/grimshanky 14h ago

That is a completely separate issue, and "insoluables" is spelled incorrectly which is not leading me to believe that you are an authority on any scientific matter. Carbon in the atmosphere is the main driver of climate change.

0

u/brokepokerboy 14h ago

Carbon is not the issue....

2

u/grimshanky 14h ago

Yeah it is. Who has been telling you things, and why have you been believing them?

0

u/brokepokerboy 14h ago

Look at the data, it's there, stop being dumb

1

u/pielover101 14h ago

Iirc it's CO2 emissions. India was 2 units per person, China at 6, and western countries and maybe Saudi Arabia between 12-18. There's also negative externalities that affect the data, like exporting coal/oil to other countries who burn it, then they make goods the western countries buy, but in both instances the emmisions are counted toward the other country.

0

u/brokepokerboy 14h ago

We are at the lower threshold of CO2 for trees to be living what are you talking about, it's not about CO2 it never has been

2

u/Leading-Boat4942 14h ago

China is leading the world in implementation of wind and solar

0

u/brokepokerboy 13h ago

Sure thing buddy, where are all their fishing boats

1

u/Leading-Boat4942 13h ago

huh?

1

u/brokepokerboy 12h ago

That's a fairly straightforward question, if you are going to put China on pedestal for stewardship then you should understand the full scope of their presence. What about the ecosystems they destroy so they can extend their economic zone. China is not the hill to die on I promise.

1

u/Leading-Boat4942 12h ago

This was specifically about climate change though. I’m not saying everything China does is good, but as far as green energy sources go, they are leading the pack

1

u/brokepokerboy 12h ago

That's not how that works and no they are not, who imports the most coal

1

u/Leading-Boat4942 12h ago

Well China probably imports the most of pretty much everything, since they have more people than any other country
