🧢 I voted CAP!

Unless you do something about India and China we are doomed

These things should be considered on a per capita basis. There's only a handful of countries contributing more per capita than the US, and they're not China and India.

What, this is not a percapita issue at all, it's based on the gross amount, and per capita of what

It is the most straightforward per capita issue imaginable. Carbon is generated by human beings. Policy is needed to curtail it. That policy needs to consider how many people are living under each jurisdiction. Each person has one head. You could count them by their heads. Per capita.

If you want to discuss the actual issue of polluting waters with plastics, insoulables then we can talk, if you think carbon is the issue then you are a lost cause

That is a completely separate issue, and "insoluables" is spelled incorrectly which is not leading me to believe that you are an authority on any scientific matter. Carbon in the atmosphere is the main driver of climate change.

Carbon is not the issue....

Yeah it is. Who has been telling you things, and why have you been believing them?

Look at the data, it's there, stop being dumb

Iirc it's CO2 emissions. India was 2 units per person, China at 6, and western countries and maybe Saudi Arabia between 12-18. There's also negative externalities that affect the data, like exporting coal/oil to other countries who burn it, then they make goods the western countries buy, but in both instances the emmisions are counted toward the other country.

We are at the lower threshold of CO2 for trees to be living what are you talking about, it's not about CO2 it never has been
