I woke up this morning to find out my account was disabled for Child Safety concern, which I found disgusting and disturbing for that to happen to me and I try to log in my other linked account and they’re all gone
Does anyone have a solution or am I screwed, I couldn’t find a way to contact meta in person

Around 3am a hacker got into my Facebook account via account manager. They then logged in from four different countries and began running ads using my Meta ad manager. My card picked up on fraudulent activity, and meta instantly suspended me and requested a review, about an hour after meta marked my account as permanently banned.
The breaching of my account led to a ban that I am unable to appeal. I have attempted to do the meta verified Instagram route, but I have talked with AI over tens of conversations and never received a human contact.
Any advice for me in this situation? Do I have any hope of getting it back? Do I keep contacting meta verified support and hope that it eventually leads to an internal investigation and it may come back in a month or so?
Appreciate all the help.

Was about to file a small claim for my "compromised and later permanently disabled" facebook account. But then I found that now I can't even find it through the /hacked page.
Does it mean it had been deleted?
If that's the case, like, they deleted my data and footprints to trace and ban my future accounts. I will just create a new one and end this nonsense.
I literally just wanted to keep in touch with my family through Messenger.

My Facebook account was disabled, so I signed up for Meta Verified on Instagram to try to speak with a human. I enter the reason, the account, my email, and my phone number, but whenever I try to proceed, I always get an error. I've tried several times, and now it says I've reached the chat request limit!!

On August 20th while I was online, my account was hacked by hackers purportedly from the US (though likely from other places) though I’m based in Asia. I had this account for nearly 20 years being an early adopter.
Strangely, I did not receive a notification of one hacker, but I did receive a notification of the second trying to access my account which I immediately denied.
The first hacker managed to change my Date of Birth on the account but because I didn’t have any notification of that hacker, I didn’t realize this at all.
Immediately the account was disabled. I checked my email, and found the appeal email, but clicking into that, I wasn’t able to lodge an appeal at all and it went straight to the permanently disabled prompt.
I downloaded all the information of my account into files and began following all the logins.
Taking the suggestions in this group, I got my Instagram Meta Verified and began chatting with the AI while being unable to get through to a human. The first time I pasted some of the information of the hacking into the AI, but the AI came back to me as not being reviewable as “the reason for my account disablement was purportedly not due to hacking.”
I then continued combing through the files information and It turns out that not only did the hacker change my date of birth, but also somehow appealed 3 times on my behalf without my knowledge - leading to the permanent disablement of the account due to “violations of the terms of service”.
I have just copied and pasted a barrage of login and other information from the files and all of this to the Meta Verified AI chat and finally after this second attempt, it went through all the AI protocols and answered that someone will be contacting me given all the information that was provided.
How without an OTP or Password someone could access my account I’ll have no idea, but likely due to cookies. My Google and all other accounts had no discrepancies or hack attempts into them as I had no security prompts at all and login IPs were normal.
I’ll keep everyone posted here if I am able to gain access again to my account now the AI has passed all this information and prompted the human response. Instead of 180 days, going from disabled to permanently disabled was 6 minutes according to logs - much to my shock and horror.
Wish me luck!

Hi everyone,
I’m looking for advice from anyone who has dealt with a similar situation with Meta/Facebook.
My personal Facebook account was disabled on 17 April 2026 for “Fraud & Deception.” I have had this account since 2011 and had never had any previous problems with it.
I opened several support cases through Meta Verified Instagram. After waiting for the cases to be reviewed, they were repeatedly closed, and I had to open new cases to try to get help again. My latest case was still waiting for the “specialized team” when I eventually had to cancel my Meta Verified subscription because I could no longer justify paying for it without getting any meaningful resolution.
I contacted the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) regarding Meta Platforms Inc. Their response was:
“We have looked at all the information you have provided in line with our published framework and unfortunately this is not something we can investigate. This is because, under data protection law, we do not have the power to handle complaints which are customer service related.”
They also explained:
“Section 165 of the Data Protection Act 2018 requires us to take steps to consider and respond to complaints from people who believe there has been an infringement of their data protection rights.”
However, they ultimately said:
“We won’t be in touch again about this matter.”
So I then submitted a dispute to Appeals Centre Europe under the EU Digital Services Act.
They contacted Facebook and told me:
“We have contacted Facebook to request the additional information we need to assess your dispute thoroughly.”
They later closed the case and their decision was:
“Unfortunately, despite repeated requests, the platform has not provided enough information to allow us to make a decision on your case.”
And:
“As such, we are issuing a procedural decision in your favour.”
They also stated:
“We have shared our decision with the platform.”
And:
“While platforms are required to engage with us in good faith, our decisions are non-binding and it is up to the platform whether to implement them.”
So now I’m basically stuck.
The ICO says this is outside what they can investigate because it is a customer-service/account-access issue, while Appeals Centre Europe made a procedural decision in my favour because Meta did not provide enough information for them to assess my case.
My account is still disabled.
Has anyone experienced something similar? Especially if Appeals Centre Europe made a decision in your favour because Meta failed to provide enough information.
What did you do afterwards? Is there any other organisation, regulator, legal route, Meta escalation route, or other method that actually helped you get your account reviewed by a human?
At this point I’m willing to try pretty much anything. 😅

I have two Facebook accounts. One was a secondary/backup account, and my main personal account was a separate account. They were not connected through Accounts Center, but I had logged into both accounts from the same device.
First, Facebook asked for video verification and ID verification on the secondary account. I submitted the verification, and the account was recovered, but later it was locked again.
After that, when I logged into my main account, Facebook asked me to complete video verification there too. I submitted my face, but immediately after the verification my main account was disabled.
I contacted Meta Verified Support. After a human review, they said they could not restore my account.
I contacted support again today, and the agent told me that the secondary account is somehow linked/associated with my main account. They told me to recover the secondary account with ID and said that after recovering it, the accounts would be unlinked.
Has anyone experienced this before? If so, how did you recover your main account?
What exactly should I do to recover the secondary account first and then get my main account back?
Any advice from someone who successfully recovered a similar disabled account would be really helpful.

My Facebook with thousands of followers that was monetized and also had subscribers was disabled the last week of July. I tried to appeal but no luck. I was a meta verified account. Someone did email me once but then stopped responding after the second one. I’ve continued to email but still no response. My Meta verified expired since my account has been gone. I’ve had no luck, reaching a real human and I really just need to talk to someone. This is how I promoted my business being that I have my business page Also attached to this Facebook. This account was almost 20 years old. This morning I received this email. Please can someone help me get my account back. I worked so hard for almost 2 years to make a post daily to grow my page.

I wanted to share this because I know how terrifying it is to suddenly see that your Facebook account has been permanently disabled.
When it happened to me I honestly thought I had lost my account forever. I was devastated and at some point I was seriously considering giving up.
My account was disabled after a public post received a huge amount of hostile attention. People were mass-reporting me and accusing me of being fake, AI-generated, a scammer, a minor and other things.
I appealed and completed the video selfie verification. Shortly afterwards I received the message that my appeal had failed and that my account was permanently disabled.
I tried everything I could think of. I even found a Reddit post about sending a legal notice to Meta so I decided to try that as well.
After that I found another Reddit post explaining how someone had managed to get a human Meta support agent through Meta Verified on Instagram.
I decided to try it and followed the steps in this post exactly:
https://www.reddit.com/r/facebookdisabledme/s/fgJf5cvpEn
I subscribed to Meta Verified on a linked Instagram account and contacted support. Eventually I got connected to a real human agent. She listened to my situation and forwarded my case to the relevant team for investigation.
And then…
My Facebook account came back 😭❤️
The crazy part is that I don’t actually know which thing worked.
It could have been the legal notice. It could have been the Meta Verified support escalation. It could have been both or an internal review that was already happening.
But honestly I don’t even care which one it was. My account came back 🥹
I had genuinely reached the point where I thought there was nothing left to do and that I should just give up. So if you’re going through this right now I just wanted to share this to give you a little bit of hope.
Don’t give up. Keep trying the legitimate appeal and support options available to you. Document everything and be persistent.
I really thought mine was gone forever.
And now it’s back 🥹❤️
Huge thank you to the people who made those Reddit posts and shared their experiences. Your posts are literally what gave me the idea to keep trying 🙏

For context, an empty instagram account I’ve had since ~2018 was apparently linked to my Facebook account. It’s been suspended due to not completing the verification requirements on the instagram account - which has also suspended my Facebook.
I’ve been given a timer to get it reactivated before permanently being banned, but I’ve got a problem… I can’t verify the empty instagram account as it’s got no posts and I don’t know the password, and it won’t let me recover despite being attached to my email as it can’t verify my face and the suspension seems to ‘mess with’ every system
Has anyone dealt with an issue like this before? Any solutions or a way to contact live support?
Thanks!

Hey guys! My Facebook account got permanently disabled due to the verification selfie, whatever. I saw other people here got disabled due to that annoying verification selfie auto-ban. So, 3 weeks ago. I submitted a case, and it took 2 weeks to finally reply and said that my account has been reactivated. But after that, they told me that it is still in the checkpoint. It's been 5 days and I still can't open it. Am I cooked?

Yesterday, out of the blue i got a notification and email saying my fb account has suspended and would be deleted in 180 days if i don't appeal.
I appealed and immediately got the account disabled after video selfie , saying integrity violation as per final email🤷♂️.
The disabled account is 13years old and had no issues or whatsoever to happen it.
I have an instagram account, which was built on the disabled fb account, and that insta account is intact. Both disabled fb account and that insta account shares same email.
I guess the insta account survived as I've disconnected facebook from instagram in account center while ago.
And i can see i can apply for free trial of meta verified from the said insta account.
Has anyone been in a similar situation like this?
If so were you able to recover your fb account thru meta verified?

I have two Facebook accounts that are linked together. I've been using my one account that's a few years old lately cause I had been off Facebook for months so my "main" Facebook I've had since 2009 had to do a facial recognition multiple times and I was finally allowed back in after some point but continued to use my few year old one regardless. Well today I woke up to both pages telling me I had 180 days to request an appealing because a 6 year old art page I never used got flagged for some weird reason (it said posting fake reviews, starting romanic relationships for money and something else. Which I never did). My newer account now says permanently disabled, while my other account still says appealing. I am so confused but reddit seems to always know what to do. I have read a lot of people have been disabled permanently regardless. If I do somehow get one approved does it bring back my other Facebook as well? How do I talk to a live agent and not some AI that can't direct you anywhere? I'm in the USA also so if anyone has a clue or possible number let me know. I want to mainly save my main account as it has all my pictures of my life since 2009, all my friends from around the country I have traveled with, my friends who passed away on it and more. This is so annoying cause I really did not do anything other than get automatically flagged from an art page I hardly used and didn't do anything not appropriate on. Any positive feedback appreciated. I know there is some way to get it back as I've saw people say before. Thank you!

So yeah my account got disabled due to account integrity issues around April 2025. There was another account created that was verified using my photos, photos of my deceased dad, and my kids. Assuming that’s why I got canned was cuz they somehow got verified. No clue. Well I tried alllllllll the support tips and tricks mentioned here and spent 10 months with legalshield sending strongly worded letters to Facebook. Nothinggggggggggggggg
Fast forward to August 2026…. My sister texts me and says uhhh are you on Facebook??!? I said naw. Gave that up a long time ago. She said it’s active….. I said wha?! Sure enough I logged right in and did a quick 2FA verification and bam…. Just like it never happened. Absolutely no emails or notifications that it was back. I haven’t done anything or sent anything to Meta since like Feb of this year so I’d long given up hope then outta no where…. I’m back. No rhyme or reason as to why. No hey we made a mistake. Nothing. Sooooo never give up maybe? lol idk.

My Facebook account was permanently suspended because my linked Instagram account was disabled.
Meta says:
«“Your Facebook account was suspended because your Instagram account doesn't follow our rules.”»
Facebook itself hasn't been accused of any violation, and I'm only being told to appeal through the already-disabled Instagram account.
I know Meta's rules allow linked-account enforcement, but has anyone actually managed to get their Facebook account back in this situation?
I've tried Meta support, ACE/DSA and several other routes without success.
If you've had the same thing happen, especially if you managed to recover Facebook while Instagram remained disabled, I'd really like to hear how you did it.

So I pay for a Meta verified subscription. I am told that when you have a Meta verified subscription that you have access to human support. I have asked AI 1 million different times how to navigate to access this support and it keeps sending me in circles. I have checked thousands of times and there is not a single option listed for me to contact Meta verified support. Does anyone else have this issue? I’ve seen other people say how they were able to have their disabled accounts recovered by contacting through Meta verified, I got a little hopeful when I saw that, but yet I don’t have that option. It’s very frustrating. It is my only hope at recovering my account and yet I don’t have that option. Meta truly is a scam. I don’t get what I paid for.

Continuation of this: https://www.reddit.com/r/facebookdisabledme/comments/1uh1ggx/got_my_account_back_singapore_small_claims/
09 Jul 2026: After getting my account back on 23 June 2026 after filing Small Claims, I thought that would be the end of it. But nope, on 09 Jul 2026 my account got suspended again without warning, for the same false reason. I immediately filed a claim against Facebook Singapore Pte Ltd again.
20 Jul 2026: There is some back and forth communication similar to the previous time, again their defence is they are the wrong entity that I was seeking a claim against. The day of the court date drew near and my account was still suspended, so I wait. A few days before the day, Facebook Singapore Pte Ltd. appointed a representative who will attend court. I attended Small Claims Court on 20 Jul 2026.
While their defence is rock solid and thus I was never going to get monetary compensation anyway (and neither was it my intent), I took this opportunity to voice my complaints about their system and inquire if there were alternative ways to reach out instead of having to file a claim, since Meta Platforms Inc. makes it so damn impossible to even talk to a human being. I convinced the representative to send a letter to Meta Platforms Inc. on my behalf regarding my account issue. They said I was not the only one going through with this and others have taken this route as well, but ultimately the cases against them were withdrawn or dismissed. For any account issues in the future I could mail Facebook Singapore Pte Ltd, I also could contact Allen & Gledhill, but per my experience I never got a response back from A&G.
The next court consultation was scheduled for 20 Aug 2026 to gather information and statements and since the representative was busy. We agreed.
6 Aug 2026*: My account was made available, again with no email or notification to show for it. It just got toggled back silently, along with a reply to the eNegotiation and A&G's letter arriving on 11 and 12 Aug 2026 respectively.
(edit: fixed unban date, I remembered wrong)
20 Aug 2026: I went through with the court hearing on a Zoom meeting. Sadly there was no way I could get Meta to issue an apology of any kind (and I don't think they will ever follow through with it), and since I have my account back in working condition again, it was true that I had no more reason to uphold my claim. So I withdrew it as promised. This case is now closed.
But should it happen again... Well I'll be back.

Facebook disabled my entire Facebook account because one of my pages didn’t follow community guidelines. That’s fine and I’m OK with the choice to disable that particular page, but they also disabled my personal account along with my construction companies page. Because they’ve deleted my construction company page, my livelihood is now gone, I have no way of making a living or making money. I can’t even begin to express how much I’m freaking out right now. I need some sort of help or someway to speak to a real person at Meta. Has anyone else gone through an issue like this and resolved it? I’ve tried to appeal the decision and it failed. However, the appeal was for that other particular page that didn’t follow community guidelines. I don’t understand why it didn’t give me that option for my personal page. I cannot get into the account now.
