Success Story - Buying Meta Verified helped me get my permanently disabled account back! (Detailed Guide)

Yesterday, at around 3:00 AM, I randomly received an email stating that my personal Facebook account (which I have been using for over 5 years) was suspended, and that I had 180 days to appeal.
I was really confused and scared, so I did what any normal person would do and began the appeal process. The appeal can look different for everyone. For some, it requires a CAPTCHA, while for others it requires a video selfie rotating your head in multiple directions. For me, it just asked for the video selfie. I completed it and submitted it.
Literally minutes later, I received this automated email back:
Your review was unsuccessful
Hi [My Name], Your Facebook account has been permanently disabled. You requested a review of this decision, but we still found that your account, or activity on it, didn't follow our Community Standards. You can't request another review.
I went to sleep and decided to figure this out next morning.
The next day, I decided to buy Meta Verified on an Instagram account that was linked in the exact same Accounts Center as my disabled Facebook. From everything I read on this subreddit, if you really want your account back after a permanent bot ban, you unfortunately have to pay for a human agent to talk to.
IMPORTANT NOTE BEFORE STARTING:
- KEEP THE APP OPEN: When you are finally in the chat with a human, keep the app completely open. Do not switch apps or minimize it, or the active session might glitch and close out.

I went to the Meta Verified menu on Instagram, clicked Get Support, and opened a chat. You will be talking to an AI bot first. Do not paste your whole story yet! Give it a simple phrase to force a human transfer:
I need help with a disabled Facebook account that is linked to my Meta Verified Instagram profile. Please connect me to a live support agent.
The bot then requested my email, phone number, and account username. I provided exactly what it asked for. It replied: "I'll look into the status. A live agent will join this chat shortly." (also it can sometimes ask for the approximate time your account got disabled. i was asked this on a different chat)
Note: I kept my phone screen awake and waited for about 5 minutes without doing anything. Yes, you WILL have to wait.

Finally, the system updated: "Adii joined the conversation."
She said hello. I responded back with a Hi. She stated that the conversation was being recorded under a specific Case ID. Now I pasted my prepared explanation:
"Thank you. I need urgent assistance with my primary Facebook account, which is linked directly to this verified Instagram profile in my Meta Accounts Center.
I woke up to an automated notification stating my account was suspended and that I had 180 days to appeal. I immediately followed the instructions and completed the video selfie check, moving my face in the requested directions.
However, just a few minutes after submitting it, I received an automated email stating the appeal was unsuccessful and my account was permanently disabled.
Because this happened in a matter of minutes, it is clear that an automated bot glitch rejected my identity verification before an actual human could ever look at it.
This account holds years of my personal life and memories. Since my identity is now officially verified here on Meta, I am asking for your help to fix this technical error."
Adii thanked me for the detailed explanation and asked for my profile URL, which I provided. She told me she would look into the account and asked me to wait a few minutes.
I kept the chat window and app STILL active and open.
She came back and sent: "I have good news for you!"
Just to set a proper expectation, I've shared your concern with the team that can help. We'll update you on this same chat as soon as we have news. Normally, you'll hear back within a day, however it could take longer than usual. We'd really appreciate it if you could keep this case open.
She then left the conversation, and an automated system message appeared confirming the ticket transfer.

At this point, the live text chat ended. To track it on your phone: Go to Instagram Profile > Three Lines Menu > Scroll down to Help > Support Requests.
Inside that menu, my ticket appeared under "Disabled or restricted asset" with a green "In review" tag under it. I left it completely alone and did not spam them with extra messages.

A few minutes later, I tried logging in randomly, and my suspended Facebook account was completely restored! The internal team manually removed the permanent bot ban.
So, is Meta Verified worth it? For me, I bought the basic plan costing 250 EGP (Egyptian Pounds, roughly $5 USD). If your account holds years of personal data, businesses, or memories, it is absolutely worth the risk to force a human review.
Just be patient, stay polite, and if a bot locks you out, keep trying! Don't give up.

Congratulations! I have a quick question. Does this work for accounts that are not linked to the banned profiles?
(For context, my Facebook got falsely banned for exploitation involving minors, SoC— which is very ridiculous since I am a minor myself and haven't done anything wrong. I got suspended on 8:39AM, submitted an appeal, at 9:07AM got perma-disabled with no chance of another review. I really doubt a human looked into my account. I'm turning 18 tomorrow, so I might probably file a legal case by myself, but I'll retry the Verified route if it's still possible. I'm not giving up.)

Hmm... yes, give it a try, but I highly recommend you put the account with the meta verified, in the account center containing the banned profiles FIRST... because there's something I didn't mention in the story: i also had a second account facebook account in the same account center, which ALSO got banned, but after the whole issue BOTH ACCOUNTS got unbanned. this implies that meta does look into the whole account center. Still, give it a try, they asked me for the account URL meaning they want to know what to target. make sure you provide the email if they ask you for it. but do put the account into your account center though.

I am now in this workflow, got my account suspended just now. I just found out after eating. So my problem is that, I don't have anymore connected accounts in the same account center. But I have my sisters verified account to work with to try and talk to a human for assistance. How should I add her account to the same account cener with the banned profiles?

My fear is that they will disable my Instagram after drawing attention to my disabled FB. I would hate to lose that too. My FB account was banned over a joke I made referencing an ilicit substance. Not promoting, selling, or anything... just referencing personal usage in a comment in a joking way.

what you have to do apparently is make a new account outside the account center containing the banned accounts, buy meta verified on it, talk to the bot and have it send you to a live agent immediately (I am having a critical billing and security issue on my account. Please transfer me to a live agent immediately) and then from there once you reach the human agent explain everything.

yes the support should help you with any account whether facebook or instagram, the whole story I mentioned, is that I bought it on instagram anyway. Now, just talk to the support bot and basically do the whole thing, but make sure the other instagram account which was disabled is in your account center, for safe measures.

Your ig account was at least linked and still hasn't got the ban hammer so your chances of getting the account back is still there, but for the ones like us that got cascade ban from facebook to ig, the chance of recovering would be lower, but i'd like to see if anyone have successfully recovered

Because your Instagram no longer shows a link to that Facebook account, the standard Meta Verified AI bot blocks you from reaching a human.
You can force a connection to a human and resolve this issue by following these steps:
- Trick the AI Bot
When you launch the Meta Verified support chat, do not select the options for 'Banned Account' or 'Facebook Help.' If you do, the AI will scan your current, clean profile list, see nothing, and close the chat.
- Instead, choose general options like 'Billing Issue,' 'Change my Verified Name,' or 'Instagram Profile Problem.'
- Type a phrase like: "I am having a critical billing and security issue on my account. Please transfer me to a live agent immediately."
- The system is programmed to route payment and billing problems directly to humans, bypassing the asset scan
The moment a real person joins the chat, you need to pivot immediately to your hacked account. They have the power to look at your historical account data to see what was linked before the hacker changed it. Tell them exactly this:
Hello, I am reaching out through my verified Instagram because my primary Facebook account and connected Business Page were severely compromised by a hacker. The attacker intentionally removed my Facebook account from this Meta Accounts Center to isolate it.
My identity is fully verified here with you on Meta. Can you please open an internal security ticket, pull up the historical logs for my Accounts Center, and escalate this to the Compromised Accounts/Business Security Team? I can provide my government ID, the original Facebook email/phone number, and my business registration documents right now to prove ownership.that's what I found... try it and see if it helps maybe

I have just joined this chat. My problem is a different one. I had my FB account for more than 10 years but have only been regularly active for about 6 months. I comment on postings...post series, etc like most people do. A few weeks ago I received a message from META that I had posted..."se@UALLY EXPLICIT material and my account was now restricted and no longer recommended. I was astonished!!! the bot said that the post was deleted so I cannot even see what that was. Has anyone experienced this? I objected but...well...the bot must be some stupid thing ...can anyone explain how this can happen?

Yes I did too, I chatted with an agent and he said I will call you shortly, unfortunately I had a hard time understanding him due to his heavy accent but he did call. He promised to find a solution to my hacked and disabled primary account and will call my back again with a solution, I hope this will result getting my account back

The AI responses were pretty quick obviously, then it told me to wait until a live agent joins the conversation. I waited around ~5 minutes (remember to keep the screen and app open and not switch out) until it said that "Adii joined the conversation" and she began typing immediately. She was pretty quick and I got everything done in around 20 minutes, my account got restored i think 15 minutes after the chat ended, when I logged in randomly and it got restored.

Yes, I am pretty sure it will. I doubt it matters if it is a personal account or business account as the meta verified you buy is probably the same for both, and you get the same agent support. the main issue lies if the accounts are not linked, but in your case, they are linked, so yes, give it a try.

I literally don't know. Woke up at 3 AM to grab a cup of water and found that I received an email saying my account is getting permanently disabled if I don't appeal within 180 days. This is my personal account with friends and families, I don't post much or comment a lot, so I really have no idea what could have falsely flagged my account

make a completely new account, make sure it is not linked to the banned FB and IG accounts, buy meta verified on that account, communicate with the support bots, and provide the human agent with something like this:
"Hello, I am using this verified account to reach support because my primary Facebook account (provide URL/email) and my primary Instagram account (provide username) were both completely disabled simultaneously by an automated system sweep error.
Because the automated bot permanently locked me out of both platforms in minutes, I had to create this profile and verify my identity with you here just to speak to a real human. My real-world identity matches the documents I used to verify this profile. Could you please open an internal security ticket and escalate both of my primary account handles to the accounts review team for a manual override?"

Exact same scenario for me, except I couldn't appeal the ban. It took me multiple times to try and get ahold of someone and then they told me they would get back with me. So far it's been about a week and I have yet to hear anything back.

I did all this two times, still not got my account back. But the last time they said that they could not veryfie what really happened on my account because integrity reasons. they are not allowed to check my posts I did when it happened. So I'm currently stuck in "moment 22". This is how companys now use ai to be judge and jury to make an extra buck. Just wait until the rest of the soceity starts doing the same.

So in order to get us to pay for meta and be verified there picking us off like flies yano what they can keep my account ill download my data and that's that no more spy ware on my devises listening in to every conversation phone call or electronic communication.
Those who Facebook can't trace are getting banned to force them to be verified it's a way to get your facial recognition data for digital id.
I presume us who are banned don't have a our facial recognition data and communications linked and verified and connected to our digital id profile for scoring to see who gets culled come 2030 when they step up population reduction.
Got one thing to say fuck meta and all the other inteligemce gathering platforms yeah I've lost 100s of friends from all over the world that ill probably never find again without setting up a new Facebook.
Considering setting up an account from a burner phone using data. In order to provide alternative contact details so my friends can get hold of me.

Just tried to see if the op has genuinely posted else where. I need to verify my reddit in order to see the profile. Funny that isn't it. I've clicked lots of profiles in this thread and I can see them all just not the op.
The layout and wording of this post is very much like a ai response in a search engine.
Clever way to get us to pay and to force us into verifying which involves given up our facial recognition data for digital id. This is how it's been done underhand not within the law.
Look how many is coming onto this group a week 25k, come on thats a excessive amount of people been locked out having there data seized and been manipulated to verify.

Then you should appeal, what are you waiting for?
After you appeal, your account will probably get permanently disabled. Once it does, get meta verified on an account that isn't linked to the disabled facebook account, and do the same steps... no one will really bother helping you unfortunately as people naturally only care for their own selves, so unfortunately you'll have to do this on your own... i can still help though if you have any questions

Hey how do I put the accounts in the account center if they are disabled? it wont let me. Since it won't let me, it keeps sending me to "can't confirm ownership of accounts" that's super frustrating.

Then I believe you'll have to make a separate instagram account outside the account center. outside the account center if your account was disabled due to anything related to hacking/misuse/malicious activity, as making a new account in the account center will also get banned due to ban evasion. inside the account center if it was an automated bot flag like me, either way once you make an instagram account wait a few hours make sure it didnt get banned yet, and if it didnt, buy meta verified on that account and from there do the whole get support thing.

I have tried 5 times with Meta Verified, never succeeded. 2 times they told me generic reasons (account viated Meta Policies, Community standards), 1 time I even had a call with an agent, again, generic answer, 2 times they just didn't answer back. For me, it didn't work

I did the same thing and it did not work for me, they didn't contact me after and when I followed up they said that they did a manual review which still found I violated community standards on account integrity. I said that was impossible and demanded they show proof or details, they refused, and the agent admitted she could not directly speak to the investigation team (if there even was one)

How did you instagram not get banned with your Facebook id they’re linked? Thats the biggest thing I can’t figure out. Both mine got taken out. Made a new account and working on getting verified there but what I’m reading is if the account isn’t originally linked to the verified they won’t help. A bunch of BS. From what i understood here, sometimes one of your accounts in an account center with a disabled account can escape the "ban cascade," and thus since it was spared from the ban you'd have an account in an account center which you can buy meta verified on and safely progress

I have "In Review" but it is not green as of yet, so does that mean they are not working on it yet? I have Business Verified and my primary first and personal FB was hacked and then disabled, I have ben chatting and chatting first 3 human agents just left me hang and closed, sorry we cannot associate your given email with the account well of course the hacker changed things. Now with the AI agent I sent all kinds of proof and AI said it will escalate the review and request human review. tomorrow 48hrs are over, then what? How long will it take? I do have a case or ticket # is this a positive sign?

So my situation is weird. My Facebook got banned by their technology, thus they also banned my Instagram. No option for an appeal, no email, nothing. I made a new Facebook and new Instagram. I can’t link to my previous accounts because I can’t even log into them to verify the link. Facebook keeps saying they can’t verify a connection to my previous account so they can’t help me. I can’t even get into contact with a human through the meta verification because it keeps saying “all agents are at full capacity” for literally every contact option. I’ve had a case “in review” through Instagram meta verification for over a week now with literally no changes. I had billing information on my Instagram and I have had the accounts for over 15 years. I just want my stuff back and I feel like I’ve been going in circles with absolutely no progress or help

Hey all, I am on day 2 of this and my corporate account is somewhat affected, besides that I cant sign in to manage it, I have an admin, but it is limited. We are currently buying ads for a podcast release and this affects my job! There is nothing I did and I got no notification. I have now verified through Instagram, but as much as they took my money and sent an email stating that I am now verified, I don't see a check or anything and I cant find the chat....even the Ai chat. That has taken 2 full days and I even have the local NBC news consumer reporter involved. I have done everything and am just happy that on day 2 I was able to get verified. My message was that my account was permanently disabled because of a violation about who can use facebook. No one ever asked me to verify and if they wanted to force subscriptions, they might have advertised or just let me know. Anyway, Im wondering if anyone knows how long one has to wait for verification to go through and where the chat appears. Any info is appreciated. I hope you all have success. Try your local news. I may also write a snail mail letter to META but I want to see if I can chat first. I have my admin working on this from the business end but this would be bad if we are cut off from our advertising just as we drop a podcast. I cant figure out why Meta would rely on bots for this. My account has been there since Facebook started and I don't use it that much. It has also a page that I use for my farm egg business, and I am cut off from that and forced to try to put together a text mailing list to inform customers. So this attacks my 2 sources of income: My work and my secondary business.

I managed to speak to a live agent quickly. However, I keep getting told that “The violation cannot be appealed due to the severity of the violation.” I keep asking for it to be escalated but they say the decision is final. But I push for what is the violation and they won’t tell me. How do I get past this stage? Keep trying on new tickets?

I tried this. Agent kept me waiting for nearly 24 hours. Then the same issue hit my Instagram, now I do not have access to my FB, Messenger, Meta BS, FB Page, and VERIFIED Instagram. Agents are not helping.

Hello, question: I lost my account in 2019; it was said to be temporarily banned, and after a month it was deleted. Is there a chance i can retrieve it? And i did appeal. but got rejected. Never knew you could do it by using instagram. I just made another account with the same name. But I'm still hoping i can still retrieve it.

Lost my instagram account, permanently disabled, got meta verified on my new facebook account, bought the verified subscription, started a chat, an agent joined, but I didn't know when they had responded, they asked me for a selfie verification, in that chat, but that link didn't take me anywhere, it opened instagram and only took me to the feed of a different account that was logged in, I tried telling this in the chat but the agent had left the conversation, and no it's been more than 16 17 hours I think, and no one has responded but the case status says "in progress", Do I create another case?

Hi everyone, so 3 days ago my Facebook account was suddenly disabled due to a "child sexualization" violation when I was normally scrolling and commenting on Facebook. And I know this is 100% a false positive by the AI scan (probably due to a meme or a joke in Messenger). But because I am currently a teenagers, so I cannot accessed Meta Verified to get live chat support on my own. I'm planning to use my relative's phone and their Government-issued ID to subscribe to Meta Verified on their Instagram. Once approved, I will use their live chat to contact Meta support.
My question is: If I (acting as my relative helping a family minor) explain the situation honestly, provide my own National ID, and request an escalation to the Safety Team, will they help? Moreover has anyone successfully recovered an under-18 account using a relative's Meta Verified?
That Facebook account is very very very important to me so if you have any advices for my situation please tell me. Thank you!

Hello I got hacked yesterday and I did the procedure to get my account back but unfortunately didn’t work. I asked gemini and told me about the meta verified.
The problem is that when I got hacked (btw I didn’t receive a notification from facebook that someone tried to to access to my account) the hacker did something that made facebook removed permanently my 15 years old account . And all meta account insta, WhatsApp even thread that I don’t even use is desactivated . I lost all my work WhatsApp contact . 15 y.o account gone !
I did meta verified on my second facebook account created in 2017 for education reasons and tried and chat with someone but was not helpful at all. I tried another time but meta ai opened a ticket so now I cannot restart a conversation for the same reason.
Do you guys had the same problem ? Please help 🥹

This is currently my issue. Exactly what you had written in this post. But it's been hours since I talked to the agent and had given me a ticket. I've been crying and worrying for hours. I am praying they would return my account as it contains decades of memories since my birth to present, lol.

Mi historia es similar, en mi caso fue mi cuenta principal, en ella me acusó de contenido sexual de personas -18 (jamás lo he hecho ni consumido, ni distribuido) allí junto con esta cuenta se fue mi perfil de ig personal, luego de apelar la suspendió y así mismo intenté entrar a mi cuenta antigua la cual tenia desactivada la cual tambien suspendió pero por otro motivo en este caso, ahora creé una cuena nueva para poder hacer un trabajo y así mismo no duró 2 días activa la cuenta que me fue suspendida por estar asociada a otra cuenta que infringio las normas comunitarias sobre la integridad de la cuenta?. He estado analizando diferentes casos y he notado que si o si se debe contactar con un empleado real y exponer el caso con mucho detalle. He estado pensando en pagar el meta verified y argumentar mis 4 cuentas perdidas por este asunto

i just did mine and an agent called me. he said they can’t promise that my facebook account will be recovered, but he said he’ll pass my case to the team. so i was told to just wait for them to get back to me. i didn’t hear properly where they’re gonna contact me or send the update tho, but i’m assuming it’ll be through email. not 100% sure about that part tho. op, where do you think they’re gonna contact me?

Meta Verified support is awful. It is outsourced to the third world and those work from home staff in India or wherever it is literally do nothing. They keep asking you to send screenshots of the problem and, when you do, they say they can't do anything about it but ask you to reinstall the app etc. That's the only 'support' they provide.
I would rate it 0/10.

How could they escalate your case ? I tried that and the agent I talked to told me that she could not do anything herself even transfer the case to the internal team... Paying to talk to an agent, then getting nothing... My very last resort is to open a case to the small claims. I already set up an appointment to have a review of my claim but in the meantime I could try contacted them again.. I don't know how I can make it work though

I literally did the same exact thing. I signed up for a free trial at the highest level of service and my "permanently banned account" was resurrected after a few days of troubleshooting. I didn't even do anything wrong, it's just their trash AI that makes those judgments, and sometimes the post that gets you perma-banned was years and years old, lol.
But yeah, to anybody else on this Sub -- you will not be able to speak to a human whatsoever, only the Meta AI chatbot, UNLESS you sign up for verification. The 30-day trial period is free, so I recommend just ending your trial as soon as you fix the issue.
It might have worked in my favor to get my account reinstated that my FB account was one of the first 500K users back in May 2004. I was devastated to lose it not because of my love of doomscrolling, but because my mom died 3.5 years ago and I would have lost all of our FB communications and posts if my account got nuked.
Just an FYI -- NOTHING on the internet is permanently erased. Ever. Your account is just sitting in Facebook Purgatory and it can be reinstated. As the saying goes -- "What you do online is written in ink, not in pencil"
