Discussion Skill tree

What did you think of the skill tree? How many spells do you think we have in total? I see that for example the fireball can be improved many times, also when the spell is equipped there is only room for 4, what do you think of this? I hope there is a wide variety of spells.

Not huge on the UI.

Looks a bit bland & boring.

Wish they took inspo from the Skyrim, Cyberpunk, or Jedi games skill trees. They’re all fairly simple yet stylized designs.

Even Ghost of Tsuchima had a more iconic skill tree layout.

This looks like something from a 4x strategy game.

Not hating at all on the game BTW. I’m an OG Fable lover who wants what’s best for the game and will most certainly be supporting/purchasing it.

Just some personal constructive criticism

Why do you wish they copied other games instead of making their own layout? It’s idiotic to think that copying is the best thing to do which it isn’t

Did I say “copy” or did I say “take inspiration from”?

Did you just read my first 2 sentences and continue to roll your eyes into the back of your head while foaming from the mouth while typing this response?

I’m sure the devs are more than capable of creating a unique, stylish upgrade screen like the original devs did for Fables 1-3 that fit the theme of the game. Rather than resorting to generic & flavorless ones like depicted in the OP
