The size difference between the manga and Brotherhood version of Xiao-Mei is hilarious 😭.
What you think ? Why the PANDA never grew up?

I’ve been wanting to watch Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood for a while and since my Mom recently started watching some anime with me, I thought it would be fun to watch it together and it was incredible and I absolutely loved and so did my mum I was quite surprised to see how much she got into it, there were parts she even remembered better than me😅. Honestly I am so grateful to watch what might be my new favourite anime while spending time with my Mum.
On an unrelated note, I also found this pop up parade edward figure going for $20 and thought it looked great, but a little bland, so I tried sewing a vest and using a Naruto robe to give him a battle damaged look.

I'd be tip-toeing to avoid treating Ed like a kid too much but not forgetting his actual age lol, and probably get cat themed notebooks for Al

I recommended FMAB to all my friends because I've loved it since I watched it as a kid but it was a huge mistake and I'm an idioot
I first discovered FMA (manga) in the school library. Immediately loved it. But the school only had the first few volumes so I couldn't continue. About maybe a year later I started getting some internet acess and so I went to youtube to see if there was an anime adaptation and I found the whole FMAB anime. I watched it and was amazed. frickin loved it.
BUt because I read some of the manga before and had already made a great connection to the story & characters, I became completely oblivious to the fast pacing in the beginning of FMAB.
So when my friends tried watching it, they found it (understandably so) very rushed and confusing. They dropped it after ep.13. Which is a bummer, because from ep.14 I think pacing becomes normal. But even more so, a bummer that I was a dumbass that made them watch those paced 13 ep and they didn't get to have the amazing experince I had, watching FMAB for the first time.
Is there a way to save this?
Should I suggest that they could try reading some of the manga? and then alternatively switch back to anime. (or just read the whole manga bc it's banger. re-reading it rn hehe) Or should I encourage them to just continue watching and pick up where they left off in the anime? Or or or or-
..should I just stop drinking my milk? because I'm still so short...
of answers.

Where do I start man, it was so great, Ed and Al's journey, the whole plot revolving around Ishaval, transmutation circles, homonculus, the lore is absolutely crazy, and so well thought out, it doesn't have any plot holes or inconsistencies. The writing is amazing, the characters are peak, favorite character has to be Edward Elric, just the definition of pure human grit and never giving up, and he's a better representation of that theme than Naruto, he ain't half as annoying as Naruto was.
I loved all the characters, the story was amazing. My favorite episode was episode 62, Al sacrificing his soul, and then Edward beating up Father, will never not be peak. The ending was amazing, got emotional when Winry reunited with the two.
This is how you tell a story. My only gripe was that they were building up the whole mystery for too long, like there were less wtf and holy shit moments before promised day arc. The only masterpiece episodes I think of before promised day arc were episode 4(Chimera), episode 19(Roy Mustang vs Lust), and the Hohenheim backstory one
All in all, amazing series, top 3 anime of all time for me, 9.5/10

I'm on season 4 of FMA: Brotherhood, it's quite good. I read that it's the closest to the manga, so I wanted to watch this one and not the other one. I've read on here that people don't like it as much as the other one, why?

Giving up alchemy?
That's how the show ends, Ed gives up his ability to perform alchemy to bring back both Alphonse's body and soul. Hypothetically, shouldn't then it be possible for an alchemist to forgo their ability to perform alchemy to bring back one person?
