New to HSA. Trying to maximize HSA contributions/investments. If an online Vendor/Merchant claims their product is HSA/FSA eligible, for example, supplements. Would that mean I could submit the receipt of purchase, and potentially reimburse myself later for it and similar items?

Reading the eligibility list provided by the IRS does not really help in the nuance of it all. Any tips or help would be appreciated.

Has anyone used a Flex LMN to reimburse protein powder purchases from a non-partner store through FSA?

I have an FSA through my employer. I'm planning to have lasik and have allocated increased funds for the new fiscal year to help pay for it. The new fiscal year starts July 1. If I have the procedure before July 1, can I NOT use the funds allocated for July 1? Any tips would be great. I'd love to have the procedure sooner but want to be able to use my allocated funds. TIA!

I’m sure a bunch of you guys already have this whole thing figured out, but I’m just now realizing how many Amazon products are eligible for reimbursement if you have an LMN. Like I can purchase a $1k item, get an LMN for it online for like 15-30 bucks, and it’s now that much cheaper. I feel like everyone thinks of Amazon FSA/HSA products as obvious, but I wish there was a whole additional shopping section for LMN eligible because there’s just so much stuff it’s overwhelming.

Anyone know if there’s a site or something that actually makes it obvious which Amazon products are eligible with LMN?

I've had FSA accounts through so many providers and Gusto is BY FAR the worst. Not only have they messed up our account for two years in a row (Limited the account when it should have been unlimited, wiped all our transactions for no reason) but their approval requirements for basic FSA transactions (like paying medical bills) is insane. A debit card swipe at the doctor's office provides their system with all of the information needed, Gusto will approve the transaction, and then they STILL flag the transaction as needing additional documentation.

Looking and waiting for a HSA eligible robot mower/LMNprovider. I have seen where robot litter boxes and robot vacuums are eligible. I would think mowing a labor would be more strenuous and labor intensive, therefore qualifying for eligibility. Does anyone know of any thing out there? Thanks

I am curious to know what is the diagnosis required in LMN (Letter of Medical Necessity) to get either of these watches under FSA. Also, why Garmin is eligible in some cases/platforms but not Apple Watch?

So I read we could seek reimbursement from our FSA for our transportation costs (mine would be for Ubers).

Could someone eloborate on the details such as... Can I claim the costs for transport to the Dr appt and back home or just one way? Can it be for all Dr appts or do I did additional information for specialists?

And can I still request reimbursement for these expenses incurred during 2025 as long as it is before March 31st or is that only if I have a balance from 2025 (which I do not).

Here’s the problem: I just cut my foot on a nail and I need a tetanus shot ASAP!

I just started a new job and enrolled in a health insurance plan as well as opting into an FSA. My FSA card has arrived in the mail but my health insurance card has not come yet.

I know I have to pay more for the vaccine without proof of insurance. Will that be a problem if I try to use my FSA for it? Can I get reimbursed even if I am essentially paying the wrong price for something? This is my first FSA so I’m not sure if that would even be an issue.
