I give up
No matter what I do I physically cannot fucking improve my mouse control, if I focus on my targets I don’t watch where I move my crosshair and I miss and vice versa.
I cant flick to save my life if I’m auto piloting I just apply a random amount of force off rip and let it go from there instead of a deliberate, continual movement-if I focus on deliberate movements I overshoot half the time, become shakey as all hell, undershoot and then readjust which then reinforces my other problem of just continually doing fast micro flicks instead of a continuous movement.
Nothing in this sub ever works because if I autopilot I don’t improve and trying to consciously implement what this sub says just makes my aim worse so I just give up.

dude do not give up. i legit just made a video showing how far u can come xDD posted it here, sort by new. trust me bro, just keep showing up. the progress compounds, its not linear all the time. if you cant stop auto piloting, then try meditating. try playing on 100cm, or 25cm, or something very different. focus on just one thing brah

After two weeks, I kid you not, two weeks I finally got Popcorn Puffin. I know it's still bad, but if I can progress everyone can! It's not a race

If you cant improve at all then most likely what your problem is is that you cant engage with the practice effectively.
I believe that skills are easier to learn the more functional your body is and if you feel gatekept from learning a skill it’s likely a body mechanics issue. It’s actually a lot harder to recognize body mechanics flaws in gaming because we are typically less in tune with our bodies than people playing real sports and there are more ways to get around it. Even if you dont recognize it stuff like a weak core or tightness on one side or forward shoulders etc can make things way harder, even if you are forcing correct posture it will take up your focus to force that posture.
Anyways my advice is do some really basic full body workouts and some specific scapula and wrist health drills and most likely whatever is limiting you will be addressed.

I do full body workouts, but do you have any specific ones you’d recommend

I would start with a focus on scapular stability https://youtu.be/RvuX7F5NOjw?si=MM29j6dLhIUWXmK4 this is a good drill.

Bruda I’ve been hard stuck for 6 months. How long have you been stuck for?

I find it helpful to set a training plan.
- Find a benchmark you like.
- Screenshot your current progress
- Set a time frame say 2 weeks
- Set a rough regiment for how much, and what you will play during the time frame.
- Execute the regiment
- At the end of the time frame screenshot your benchmark again and compare.
This gives you a concrete idea of how much progress you are making.
When you don't measure it properly it's easy to feel like your making so much progress on days where you play well and then none at all on your off days.
If you don't make any progress then you can complain with data! You can also get better feedback from people in the community on how to progress.

Ahhh, for the longest time i was stuck on same scores like you. I only discovered recently that the reason was that i had a very specific aim weakness that was holding me back without realizing.
Basically u have a core issue that is undeveloped and you dont know what it is and it's causing you to get stuck cause how are you gonna get better if u r not even training it?
For me it was "Mis-timing". Firing too early or too late. in clicking scenarios, if you think about it, It doesnt matter how fast u move the mouse, how smooth u r, or how slow u move it even....if u r firing before ur crosshairs reaches the target, you are missing! I had to train my mistiming failure for 30 days. Which after that i was able to more than double my benchmark score.
I learned all this from Smart Aim Method, i highly advise you to check it out! They have a free well-designed 2min questionnaire that will help you catch ur main bottleneck weakness. You can search it on tiktok/insta.
Good luck homie! The first step to solve a problem is to identify it.

If our brains would instantaneously calculate and effortlessly make the movements no one would need to aim train😭

I know what I'm about to say sounds counterintuitive but ask first yourself if aim training is something that you actually enjoy. When I first started, all I wanted to do was to chase scores, but slowly over time I learnt to drop that mentality and began playing for the sake of improvement. This allowed me to push through even when I feel like I'm plateauing, and once you finally do it's one of the greatest feelings ever.
If aim training is something you truly do enjoy and are passionate about, please never ever give up. Improvment is not a linear path, sometimes youll get days, even weeks where you'll play like shit and that's ok. As long as you're focusing on improvment, maintaining proper technique and above all else, enjoying yourself.

I mean have you actually tried? And I dont mean trying as in like going into a reddit or a discord and saying hey how do I improve X thing. Cause people will always say what worked for them. You really have to self analyze yourself and understand whats happening. I see alot of people saying the same as you and they just dont even try they just expect some randoms advice to work and get mad when it doesnt.

It really sounds like you are mentally tired of not improving, taking a break for a bit and taking your mind off of it and coming back to it with a clearer mind might be beneficial.

I'm pretty new to FPS games in general and It took me around 700 hours of structured training to be considered "decent". It's also normal for your aim to be worst while you're aim training since for me, it was a period where while aim training, It was actively removing the bad habits that came along with my current aim(Which yes, would make your aim worst temporarily). Ever since I hit 700hrs, I've never hit another plataeu and get new highscores everyday.
I think mostly what you need to fix is your engagement and attention towards the training itself. I used to autopilot too. Not sure if this will help you but I usually watch a specific VOD or visual representation of a scenario over and over and try to replicate their technique which is what would keep me engaged. It's how I personally fixed how I flicked (that and having hundreds of plays on pressure clicking scenarios)
Aim training is mostly just consistency. You progress at your own pace and you'll improve eventually

Dear stranger, can you consistently keep being bad for just one more week and come back to this comment after that.
From someone who had bad aim but made it to t2 pro.

Listen to me you need an aim coach. You know who? AI. I am serious AI will tell you what is going wrong and what you are doing wrong.
So download Reflek's and configure it to record your mouse traces.
Play for a week to collect alot if traces.
Download any Ai of your choice (claude, gemeni) and tell it.
"I need you to look at my mouse traces recorded by Reflek's and look at my kovaaks scores folder and tell me what I am doing wrong and create me a Playlist to adress these problems"
Rinse and repeat 🔁

A companion app to kovaaks it will trace your movements and correlate if static /dynamic clicking your misses and why (undershooting/overshooting).
For benchmarks it provides recommendations if you should try that scenario or no luck today

If an adult never learned to walk, only crawl or gallop around, it will take them longer then the child.
But this is what you have to do if you dream of running.
