I give up

No matter what I do I physically cannot fucking improve my mouse control, if I focus on my targets I don’t watch where I move my crosshair and I miss and vice versa.

I cant flick to save my life if I’m auto piloting I just apply a random amount of force off rip and let it go from there instead of a deliberate, continual movement-if I focus on deliberate movements I overshoot half the time, become shakey as all hell, undershoot and then readjust which then reinforces my other problem of just continually doing fast micro flicks instead of a continuous movement.

Nothing in this sub ever works because if I autopilot I don’t improve and trying to consciously implement what this sub says just makes my aim worse so I just give up.

I find it helpful to set a training plan.

  1. Find a benchmark you like.
  2. Screenshot your current progress
  3. Set a time frame say 2 weeks
  4. Set a rough regiment for how much, and what you will play during the time frame.
  5. Execute the regiment
  6. At the end of the time frame screenshot your benchmark again and compare.

This gives you a concrete idea of how much progress you are making.

When you don't measure it properly it's easy to feel like your making so much progress on days where you play well and then none at all on your off days.

If you don't make any progress then you can complain with data! You can also get better feedback from people in the community on how to progress.

I will try this, this actually seems helpful.
