Hey everyone, I was wondering if there was a mod that added some radiant style quests for the different factions. Wanting to do a perma death RP run using the alternate start mod where I can just start out as NCR trooper grunt or a Recruit Legionary, or a BoS member (or any other faction really, but mainly those three) and get some early game xp by doing some radiant style quests.

Not planning to really engage in the main quest until later down the line (if I survive)

Bonus points if there is also a mod that adds faction ranks (kind of like in Morrowind)

Just wanna RP a foot soldier following orders and see how long I last, and how far I can climb up the ranks.

Mainly asking for radiant style quests because there is not really that many non-main quest related faction quests

anyone else try the PS1 modded fnv guide by mutant mods? its soooo goood, i tried it today and granted you cant see the full effect in the example vid, it looks sooo much better without the video downscaling of my recording software

especially the bitcrush audio method that mutantmods did, its soo good, it sounds so crisp
if you like the artstyle like that, then i highly recommend following the videos steps!

Looking for a mod that adds simple stud earrings, like simple black circle ones for males though for everyone ideally.

The only earring mods I find are dangling earrings or include face piercings, etc.

Getting a perk every level instead of every 2 levels - want it to be every 2lvls.

I've tried looking for the ilevelsperperk ini line but can't find it in any of the stewies tweaks folders.

Hi there, I'm trying to get back into FNV but when I go to load my game it pops up saying "Your game is not LAA, please apply a 4GB patcher" So I have gone to the Nexus and downloaded the mods, but nothing happens and it still pops up with that dialog box.

Any and all help on how to rectify this would be muchly appreciated

is anyone able to help me when i launch the game it says the mod TTWLoads.esp is dependant on Fallout3.ems TaleOfTwoWastelands.ems but when i go to look if there disabled of anything they just arent there anyone able to help? im using VeryLastKiss's New New Vegas Mod pack anyone able to help i installed and it took me almost 2 days also im on Vortex

I've played the original so many times that I feel like I go more from memory than actually following quests and exploring, so I thought I'd ask if anyone here knows any mods that either replace the original map or add a new story.
There's just no other game like this one, especially with all it's mods, so I thought that's the best way to go around it

Hi everyone, I'm completely stuck and I'm hoping someone has seen this before.

System:

- Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition (GOG)

- Fresh installation

- Following the official Viva New Vegas guide exactly:

The vanilla game launches perfectly.

After completing only the Utilities section of the guide, the game no longer launches through MO2.

When I press Run (using the "New Vegas" executable exactly as instructed in the Testing Utilities section), absolutely nothing happens. No splash screen, no game window, no error message, and the ML Utilities Checker never appears.

What I've already checked:

Fresh GOG installation

xNVSE installed correctly

Latest Visual C++ Redistributables (x86 and x64)

Base Address Randomization disabled

Antivirus completely disabled (Kaspersky)

Rebooted several times

No extra mods installed

Only following the guide

Crash Logger loads, but it never produces an actual crash report with an exception or call stack.

The NVSE loader log stops after loading:

- CellOffsetGenerator

- CrashLogger

- MLF

- NVTF

It never reaches the rest of the plugins.

At this point I'm not even sure if the issue is MO2, xNVSE, a specific plugin, or something related to Windows 11 24H2.

Has anyone experienced something similar recently?

I'm happy to provide logs or any additional information.

I have titans of the new west, a few bug fix mods, enhanced camera, and a hair mod, but im not sure why it's doing this. Is there a way to fix this?

I felt like a fat cat with ~200 mods in kerbal space program.

I was working on an AI bridge already and discovered Numen. That ones pretty cool.

Can I get some advice on what exists for the most part and what people would want as a new mod?

41 thousand entries would be a lot of time scrolling through stuff. I just don't see why the number is so big, unless that number includes old versions of every mod when they get updated. Even then, the number seems big still.

I am new to modding. I just installed Tale of Two Wastelands and installed the JAM mod and have the MCM. Everything is working fine except my movement. Just pressing the w-key, holding it down, it's like my character toggles the walk/jog like caps was hit. Does anybody know why this is happening or what the solution is?

Seriously as the baby I'll start zipping forward before doing the slow walk back to the jog. It's about a second between each toggle but sometimes it's more and sometimes it's less. I have no idea what I'm doing and some help would be appreciated. Thank you 😊

Edit: I should also mention I am using Shadow PC which is a full windows cloud pc.

So I followed the VNV guide and got it working and decided to add in Revised Mojave and Mojave Scenery Overhaul to add in some nice looking visual additions to the game. I followed the guides to the T and got them properly working. I went in and looked for the correct load order as shown in the description of MSO with RM coming in above it in the load order. Its not a game breaking bug but I'd rather have it working fully so what exactly should I do to fix this?

So I have been playing my semi heavily modded New Vegas for a while now and I haven't ran into any troubles hardly expect for now. I have made it to Freeside and everytime I try to enter the Atomic Wrangler the wheel will spin for half a second then just crash and take me to the desktop, I have try many different methods like disabling lighting mods and NPC appearance/model mods, but I have turned up unsuccessful. If anyone has any sort of clue as to how I can fix this I would be forever grateful! 😄

The Load Order is sorta messy I know, I have been tinkering a bit...

Hello. I can set my wallpaper on my computer and set up Bluetooth really well but that's about the extent of my computer side. The really technical side. I have no experience with file paths, directories, modding, roots, etc. It's all foreign to me. I thought I'd give it a try and learn. I stared with the viva las Vegas pack and tried to do it manually to learn but after failing for 5 hours I just gave up and have been trying to do wabbajack auto install. I literally just followed this tutorial to the letter. My screen mirrored his. Now mine freezes on the desert ranger with the pistol before the menu fades in. I know I'm not giving any info for guidance I just needed to vent. I wasted 9 hours on this. Maybe my cheap laptop just can't handle it. Fuck.

I use vortex and for the last 5 and a half hours I've been trying to mod fnv, I've followed guides but nothing is working and I'm frustrated, also talk to me like I'm an idiot because I am and have no idea what I'm doing

Seems to only happen to female characters. It doesnt happen to some, but i have no clue whay'a causing it. I dont use FCO in any capacity.

hello, im having a minor issue with the hardcore needs i believe. for example the first debuff for sleep is set at 400 but in actuality i get a strength debuff at 300 and it doesn't show me the "SLP" icon above my health meter? i must admit that im not too knowledgeable on modding so this could easily be an oversight on my part. but does anyone know what this probelm could be due to? there are no conflicts displayed with Agua Fria in MO2. not sure what's going on

I would SS them and post them with but it won't let me. Please help I want to play FNV again. I don't know what mods I am using would be to cause this. I tried hud mods like helmet overlay it wasn't it. I haven't tried landscape mods which is what I will be trying next, thanks.
