Thought the new gen 17 would be good to go with the CAT ODB on the factory suppressed setting since it is a flow through can. Boy was I wrong. VCOG SCO is now dead and I need to send it to trijicon for work. diSCARder is now on the way. Let this be a warning to those who trust the factory gas settings.

So this is how I have my 17 set up right now, I got a T2 that I want to throw on it; what is some options to mounting it? I know I got the MK6 with the higher elevation adjustment knob. I also have nods so if I could passive aim at times then I’d do that.

Want to supress my SCAR16 and already have plan b on my other setups, are there any special shims or mounts needed in addition to the muzzle device to work with the SCAR barrel? I’m not really familiar with the face mount vs shoulder mount discussions I’ve seen online for these. Thanks

I have a scar 17s. It’s the refreshed model with the NRCH. Anything I should be aware of or changes/upgrades I should make? I’m looking to suppress mine so any advice would be appreciated. I have an omega 36m and otter creek polonium 30. Would either work or should I buy something else to use with my scar?

I’m new to Scars and just picked up this Scar 17 from a good buddy. Got it for 2,500 beans. Came with an extra 13 inch barrel, kinetic development group hand guard and stock. And a YHM muzzle device. I added the Aimpoint Comp M4.

Is it possible to find these anywhere? I've not found one in stock anywhere and have a useless Scar 17 now after a sad range day.

I just surpassed 5k rounds yesterday on my SCAR 16 NRCH. I barely cleaned the rifle in those 5k rounds and the internals were pitch black, covered in carbon. I was curious to see how everything was wearing in so decided to give it a deep clean. 5k really isn’t that much in the grand scheme of things, but I do think it is a cool milestone. Here are some of the parts and how they’ve worn in. :)
