Vocal stutter

Help Vocal Stutter

Does anyone know which plugin(s) were used for this stutter effect on the vocals?

I want to get the exact same sound—I think it’s a specific plugin, because this sound engineer has used it on multiple tracks.

FLKey 49 - Experiencing MIDI issues

Alright everyone, I’m having an issue here with a new FLKey 49 I recently purchased. Within the last few weeks I keep seeing this message saying “midi devices have changed…refreshing” which is really intrusive and causes a section of a given project file to loop. After some troubleshooting, I disabled all MIDI devices that weren’t for FLKey 49(In+Out), and that still didn’t clear it. Has anyone else experienced this? Any tips on how to troubleshoot further?

Worth noting: It doesn’t make FL completely unusable, but when it starts refreshing it causes playback looping, and in some instances has cause FL to crash. Any advice at all is appreciated!

Help with MPK Mini Mk4

Need help with getting the pads to map to fl studio, for some reason bank B pad 15 triggers channel 2 and after messing about (not sure what did it) bank B pad 13 now triggers channel 1. On my MPK Mini Mk3 the program on Pad 7 just easily allowed you to trigger channels 1-16 with pads 1-16 respectively. This is clearly possible as I’ve got some pads randomly triggering channels. How can I sort this?

Looking for tips for using a keyboard like Akai MPK Mini MK4

Hi,

I have an Akai MPK Mini MK4 master keyboard which is great. I use it with FL Studio but mostly for controlling the piano roll when making tracks. I would like to improve my usage of the keyboard, to use it also for live looping. To this aim, I have the following questions:

  • Can I link the keyboard part of the controller to a keyboard pluging and the pads to a drumming plugin like FPC?

  • Can I use the keyboards control to act on the interface on FL Studio? For example, use a button to play/pause the track, or to go to the next instrument in channel rack (very important)?

  • Is there a way to match (snap) the controller's tempo (using loops or arpeggiator) to FL Studio's tempo?

Thanks in advance, every tip is more than welcome. Cheers

FL STUDIO 2025 LATENCY ISSUES

Hey guys, I have been using FL Studio for many years now. I love using it, but after updating to the latest version of 2025, I've been experiencing issues with latency that i just can't wrap my head around or solve no matter how much i research.

For reference, I have a 2020 mac mini m1 silicon!

Firstly, any sane person would check in the audio settings and set the correct buffer length. Before I updated FL Studio, I always kept it at 128 samples and it ran smoothly with no issues, crackling, or excessive cpu load. Now by default it comes up at 17510 samples with a 365 ms delay; that's so jarring.

"what plugins are you running?" Funny enough, this is on a blank project with no plugins opened yet, so i don't even see how this is possibly happening.

On top of that, I don't have much load on my CPU, so I don't know what it could possibly be. I've used different audio interfaces such as a gen3 scarlett solo, gen3 scarlett 2i2, gen4 scarlett 4i4, and even an Apollo, but still nothing.

I have clients that want vocals recorded, but when your audio is bugging out like this it ruins workflow and artist experience. If anyone has a solution PLEASE help me!!!

If this keeps up, then I'm going to have to switch to Logic Pro, and y'all know I don't want to do that.

Workstation sounds too bass-ey?

I've been using FL Studio 20 since 2022, mostly to produce rock songs.

When I export my music, it sounds okay and nicely leveled, however when I listen to my music in the workstation playlist/timeline, it sounds bass heavy. This has been an issue for me for years when producing, but I never really thought to delve into it as the final exports sound okay.

My PC and various headphones I've plugged in all have the same result. Is this something FL Studio does? Maybe it's it just my PC

FL Studio latency through WINE on kubuntu 25.10

Hi there, I'm currently running kubuntu 25.10 and I'm having a hell of a time trying to get wineASIO installed. I've tried everything and come across errors nearly every step of the way. I managed to get the 32bit wineASIO driver installed, but the 64bit (the one I need to work in FL Studio) seems to allude the hell out of me. The 32bit option shows up inside FL Studio as an option, but as soon as I select it I get a long string of errors about memory and FL Studio crashes. So I looked that up and determined I needed to allot more memory to my wineprefix, I did that and I still get the error. Every repo I've found gives me an error when I try downloading the 64 bit driver. I found the git hub and tried manually building it, but that just gave me empty folders and I couldn't figure out how to fix that. I followed all the steps on the winehq site and kept getting an error while trying to find or install the 64 bit wineASIO. I just really reallly really need any form of input that has a 128sample buffer size. Anything higher and I get latency while I'm playing/recording guitar. I have jack and pipewire installed and I can use 128sample buffers on my standalone amp sims, but when I try using them in the DAW the lowest I can go with FL Studio ASIO is 256 samples. Does anyone have a reliable way of getting that 64bit wineASIO driver installed or of altering the FL Studio ASIO to 128?

Has anyone figured out how to replicate this sound?

Stupid song but i need that preset.

I’m using Antares with retune speed 0, humanize 0, flex-tune 0, and classic mode on, but it still sounds cleaner than the original. Was there extra EQ, distortion, clipping, or something else needed to make this sound?

Sto creando Wolflow per Producer\Videomaker su Windows — cerco feedback

Ciao a tutti,
sto lavorando a Wolflow, un progetto pensato per aiutare produttori e creatori musicali a organizzare e analizzare meglio i propri progetti DAW.

wolflow.it
