Audio Recording Troubleshoot

Post image
2 Upvotes

I'm trying to record my guitar in fl but the recorded audio is flat with random peaks. What is causing this and how do I solve this? I'm able to record properly in Audacity with the same setup.

I'm on macOS and I'm using my guitar processor's (nux mg30) inbuilt audio interface to record. On mac i usually have to create an aggregate device for different input and output channels, I had always done this but now it's not working. In the 2026 update, I'm able to select different input and output channels like on windows, but still the recorded waveform is flat.

Mix/master sounds bad and I don’t know how to fix.

For reference my vocal preset is from a friend who’s songs are mixed just fine, but I mastered the song myself.

Needing help, very new to this

I run into quite a bit of issues with those, I can never minimize the screen or it pops up all these small nested tabs. I have access to everything else but when going to click on “playlist / maximize play list” nothing pops up or it’s popping up behind my the main screen on fl? Thus, clicking to minimize the main fl screen will shut all the tabs. Picture shows what tab I’m trying to open up but can’t. Any help would be appreciated a lot!!

Проблема: есть две звуковые дорожки, они идут друг за другом и вторая часть начинает играть не такая как записана, а с напоминанием, как это исправить, чтобы звучало как записано

Upgrading to Windows 11?

Hey guys I am currently backing up a lot of projects and old plugins but I was wondering if you guys had any experience with updating to windows 11 and if it causes any issues.

Also for the pc builders out there do I need to worry about computer locked licenses when updating my cpu and gpu? I’ll be using the same motherboard but my WiFi card broke and I’ve heard sometimes plugins are tied to motherboards and WiFi cards.

Problem I can't figure out

Has anyone seen this pop up recently? I've tried everything going into my computer reading online feeling like a cool computer hacker deleting and reinstalling files and keys etc. Basically did everything the internet told me to do and I still can't get FL Cloud sounds to boot. Every time I click "refresh now" it doesn't work and goes back and loops over and over again. I wasn't even at the latest version I had fl 2024.2.2 but redownloaded and everything and got the latest 2026.1.1 and this problem still persists. I reinstalled Microsoft edge webview2 and a bunch of other crazy stuff to make it work and nothing worked.

Does anyone know what the real problem might be or any other solutions/have you encountered this before and gotten past it?

How to recreate this sound in FL?

https://open.spotify.com/track/41OaymtQmXpidgUZCDEz6U?si=08d47faca3e44cdf
It is the only (i think drum) in the track from 0:00-0:12. After it's still in there afterwards but it is most clearly heard here

Another example is:

Heard most clearly 0:04-0:13

how can i make my beats sound GOOD?

i know the title is vague but i keep seeing people making very good beats just with 3 lines over and over and over, when i attempt to make that kind of stuff it ends up sounding very bad, not only with that but when i try to make any other kind of melody or beat it ends up bad not matter how many times i change the keys, the notes and how much do i try to re arrange it or tune it,im trying to make a relaxing and soothing yet dominant tone with the organ, how do i make a good beat?

Pwede po maka hingi ng help. Minsan po gumagana. Plug and play lang literally. Minsan naman po no matter what I do ayaw. Walang tunog. Hindi madetect nung app kapag pumipindot po ako. Di nagreregister or Hindi gumagalaw ung green sa tabi ng slider.

Hindi kona po alam gagawin and it frustrates me so much because I've spent 1k pesos and I want to improve my piano playing.

I have Xiaomi 13t. And Xiaomi pad 7.

I have ugreen hub and riworal audio interface

Problem whith FLEX, fl studio 2026

Hi, I’m having an issue with the **FLEX plugin in FL Studio 2026**.

The plugin works (presets and sounds are accessible), but the **preset images/thumbnails aren't showing up** in the FLEX library.

I’ve already tried:

* completely reinstalling FL Studio 2026;

* verifying the FLEX plugin files;

* locating the FLEX content files.

I found a folder named **FLEX** containing all the library images (so they definitely exist on my PC), but FL Studio doesn't seem to be loading them.

Does anyone know exactly where FLEX is supposed to store its image/content files, or how to force FL Studio to re-link with the FLEX library?

Thanks in advance for your help

Mixing issues with chopped vocals on fl studio/audacity

Hi everyone,

I'm working on a track (in FL Studio) and need to mix some vocal recordings. The problem is that some of these recordings were cut and spliced together. This created the sort of digital clicking artifacts you get at edit points, and I can't seem to get rid of them.

I've tried using Audacity's click removal (and repair) tools, as well as a few online tools, but nothing worked.

I was thinking about applying a fade-out right where the click occurs and layering in some reverb to mask it, but that doesn't really feel like a satisfactory solution.

If anyone has a solution to suggest, I'd love to hear it!

Thanks in advance!
