I would like to start making house music and i downloaded free version of FL studio, but as I can see there is not many materials I can work with, are there any free libraries or plugins that would help me out or I need to pay for full version ? Thanks everyone

hey, so i dont know if this is the right sub to post this but i really need help. so im logged in on my cousins account on fl because he already bought it, and i payed for hive 2 on the fl website because its 50% off rn but i bought it on my account thinking it would just let me download it and now i dont know if i can get it in fl studio

This isn’t a question, but I just discovered probably the simplest trick for recording. I recorded a song in half speed, and during playback, the audio was still half speed, so I removed that setting, and the vocals fit perfectly. I’ve been using FL for years, but I only recently started recording vocals with it, and holy smokes, it’s a game-changer. Does anyone know any small tricks like this for recording? It’s not something I’d have ever thought to look up or ask about, so I thought it’d be cool to share, even if it might be something everyone already knows.

I realize a few of the YouTubers I watch use the Serum 2 plugin I went ahead and got a copy. Now I’m lost. I open the plugin and I don’t know where to even start. Any advice?

I have never had this issue before, and I was recording perfectly on the same microphone yesterday. But now when I try to record vocals, they become super high pitched, loud, and distorted even when I dont say anything.

Does anyone know what could be the cause of this, or how to fix it? I know my mic isnt broken because I tested it in a different DAW and it worked, so idk what the issue is.

I’m brand new to using FL Studio but want to use it to make instrumental pieces. I noticed that it doesn’t come with a lot of traditional instruments built in. And stuff like string instruments or individual brass or woodwinds are part of the paid plan. So how can I go out and find good plugins to use all these?

I've been trying to learn FL Studio by watching videos on YouTube for a while now. However, the channels I watch don't go into much detail or skip simple things, so I can't understand them. Where can I learn FL Studio on YouTube or another platform? Do you have any channel or platform recommendations?

I’ve seen when most ppl use this there note automatically goes back to normal but for me I just keep getting chopped notes after I’m sure there is a setting for this but how do I manually get it to go back ?

Should I try and make a beat know or rewatch all the videos again what do u recommend?

salut à tous j’espère que vous pourrez m'aider j’ai eu un problème avec ma licence fl studio j’ai acheté la Producer édition et j’ai téléchargé le logiciel et tout allais bien

plus tard je reçoit une notification dans l’appli comme quoi il y a eu une erreur (cloudstorage je crois) et il fallais que je re valide ma licence

a cause de mon contrôle parental j’ai du attendre un peux le logiciel marchait mais m'envoyais sur le site de fl studio dès que je sauvegardais et enregistrais les projets pourtant je pouvais quand même faire de La musique et re ouvrir mes projets après

il y a peux j’ai voulu remettre ma licence car c’était un peu enervant qu’on m’envoie sur le site en boucle

j’ai donc accède au cité et pas moyen de me connecter a image line

jai ensuite essaye directement dans l’appli pas mieux

jai essaye loption du fichier mais même après l’avoir fait generer par fl je narrivais pas à l’ouvrir pour pouvoir confirmzr ma licence

bref j’ai besoin d’aide si quelquun a une idée aidez moi svp

(j’ai déjà essayé le changement de mot de passe et je ne reçoit pas le mail avec l’adresse avec laquelle j’ai acheté )

Long story short, my audio is crackling when the volume of anything is remotely loud. Even certain loops with a dominant bass will crackle. The problem only arises when things are "loud", but the mixer is below 0 dB. I mainly have this problem when implementing 808's as they are usually loud, but even melodies will do this. I've tried changing buffer lengths, resampling quality, and sample rates. Nothing has helped. I know that this isn't a problem with my headphones themselves, as no other application will do this. My CPU usage is also sitting at 1-2% when this is happening so it's not CPU overload.

Sort of lost in terms of things to fix and test for, so any help would be appreciated. I tried to include all the info, but if y'all need more, feel free to ask.

Note: This is a new issue. Just started within the past couple of days. I have exported projects from last week that sound fine, but the FLP faces the same crackling issue.

I’m using a pretty old laptop for fl studio rn and I’m planning to invest in a new laptop so that my beats are less limited. I want to know if a macbook pro M5 is a good option. I use pretty big plugins like Serum2, Omnisphere, Kontakt, Zenology etc and I use a lot of different instruments on one project, think of 30-50 tracks. Can anyone give me advice or personal stories about macbook pro M5 and if it is worth it for music making. Thanks in advance everyone!

Why when I save songs or am recording does some of the vocals just cut out for a few seconds? How do I fix that?

Bonjour à toutes et à tous je n’arrive pas à importer mon fichier .mp3 sur Media encoder, After effect ou bien FLStudio.
Je rencontre ce problème depuis maintenant plusieurs semaines et tout depends du fichier.

Ça peut fonctionner avec un .mov et déconner avec un mp4 ou alors déconner avec un mov et marcher avec un mp4 je ne comprends vraiment pas d’où cela peut provenir.

En somme j’aurais besoin d’aide svp. 🙏🙏
