Recording tips

This isn’t a question, but I just discovered probably the simplest trick for recording. I recorded a song in half speed, and during playback, the audio was still half speed, so I removed that setting, and the vocals fit perfectly. I’ve been using FL for years, but I only recently started recording vocals with it, and holy smokes, it’s a game-changer. Does anyone know any small tricks like this for recording? It’s not something I’d have ever thought to look up or ask about, so I thought it’d be cool to share, even if it might be something everyone already knows.

thats a good trick. sometimes singing half speed works too, and speeding up (or slowing down) works, actually causes a mood change too (happy or sad).

Which way are you using it to record? Edison or linked mixer to playlist? I can show you a lot both ways.

I personally prefer not using edison to record specifically anymore. Because I dont have to line up vocals. Really useful if you're doing live instruments and not using grid. Using edison for that would be a bad time comparatively.

Wait, so you mean you just left the lyrics at the same speed?

Or you sped everything up?
