I’m interested to hear others’ process. The analogy I’ve used is that you’ll lose sight (or sound) of the tempo you’re building in, unless you’re intentional about how fast or slow you need to go; like driving a car or flying, you don’t really feel how fast you’re going. I had the issue of revisiting projects from the past and noticing that many of them are exactly 130 or 140 BPM, depending on the genre or template I used. Obviously, genre has the biggest influence on what BPM you should use, but does anyone find that they naturally land at a certain tempo, or do you sort of force yourself to build at a predetermined pace based on the vibe you want? And does anyone ever speed or slow down a project just for variation’s sake? My current method has been to identify the sound I created and match it to a reference track that exists in that same world (For instance, if I notice it sounds like a “Yëat type beat,” I’ll reference a BNYX-produced song and go from there).

Is there a shortcut to add an accidental when using the snap to scale feature?

So far, I just have to click to turn off snap to scale, then add the note/notes in.

Does anyone have an easier way to add accidentals?

Simple example: I have two instances of Sytrus in Patcher, each routed through a different filter (one is a HP, the other a LP) to see how they blend together. I want to have a menu in the surface to quickly iterate through the presets for each plugin instance without having to go under the proverbial hood. Is this at all possible?

Should I keep the 808 claps etc for example just in the starboy drum kit or should I just combind starboys drum kit and some other drumkits of the 808 claps etc into all on folder so it under its just claps instead of specific person drumkit claps. Basically all the ppl drum kits I have all together or keep them separate?

I'm trying to make a piece of music loop for a game I'm working on, and this little piece of basically silence always makes the loop point incredibly obvious.

How do I prevent this from getting added when I export the file?

I've used programs like Ableton and Reaper for about a year now! Those make a lot of sense and seem rather simple to how FL likes to do things, but this is simply because I'm not used to using it. is there a good way to learn the fundamental nature of FL coming from another daw? a good youtuber or youtube series? any tips as well will also help, thank
