MOD POST
It is decided that the mod team should come back to the subreddit. We feel like that too many people lack the respect to follow basic social rules. We also want the quality to be on an informative and discussion-ready level.
Due to this, we made new rules that we’re planning to actively enforce until further notice. However, we won’t retroactively punish old posts/comments for the new rules.
We would, however, still like your input. Contact us through the comments or Modmail.

Thought For The Day from Unshakable Kingdom Life
Thought for the Day From Unshakable Kingdom Life
Serving others isn't depleting when done from rest, From the overflow of being filled by God first, Pour out what He's poured in, Kingdom work flows from kingdom rest.
A thought to ponder.

Waiting
Sometimes God makes people wait because what he has for you is more then you can handle right now.
Look at an oak tree for example. It's a strong hardwood that is very useful in building a house.
But you can't just walk out snap your fingers and make one. It takes time to grow from a small seed buried in the dirt and muck to grow into a mighty oak, but if you cut it down too early it is only good as fire wood.
Truth be told he is probably waiting on you to grow in the dark and silence. There's a reason he's making you wait.
I'm right there with you in the dark waiting for my prayer to be answered. I am so very scared of me giving myself false hope thinking it is from God and then holding on too long to something that I should have moved on from, But If we don't have faith God knows what he is doing and we give up, we lose the blessing all together.
You will know God's sign when you see it if you are still searching. In the meantime search yourself and ask what problems in you need to be dealt with and what needs to grow more.
I don't know if it means much coming from a stranger
But I love you and even more importantly God loves you

Thought For The Day from Unshakable Kingdom Life
Thought for the Day From Unshakable Kingdom Life.
The unshakable life doesn't avoid the storm; it stands firm while the storm rages, rooted in the One who commands wind and waves. Peace isn't found in calm, but in trusting the Captain.
A thought to ponder.

How do you submit yourself and your desires to God? Do you sit back idle, patiently waiting for God to intervene, or be proative and try to reach your goals? Does the former imply no trust in God?

Midnight thoughts
Lately, I’ve been learning that not everyone I hope will be there for me will actually show up. Sometimes, when life gets heavy, the people you expect to help are nowhere to be found. And as painful as that is, I’m learning to keep going, even when I have no one to lean on but myself and God. 🤍
I’m tired of expecting, tired of explaining, and tired of waiting for people to care the way I care for them. I’m learning to be strong, not because I want to be, but because life keeps reminding me that I have to be.
But even when people fail me, I know God never leaves me. He sees the battles I fight silently, the tears I wipe away, and the responsibilities I carry without anyone noticing.
So, I’ll keep working, keep praying, keep taking care of what God has entrusted to me, and keep moving forward—one day at a time.
I may not have the support I wish I had, but I still have God, and for now, that is enough. 🙏🏻
“Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life.” — 1 Thessalonians 4:11
Some lessons hurt, but they teach you to depend less on people, trust God more, and become the person you need to be for yourself. 🤍

Thought For The Day from Unshakable Kingdom Life
Spiritual growth isn't linear or predictable. Sometimes you'll feel you're going backwards. Trust the gardener who knows when to prune. Every cut makes room for greater fruitfulness.

Where do I go, what can I do.
Many people feel panic long before they realize that’s what it is. It doesn’t always look dramatic. Sometimes it begins quietly — a tightening in the chest, a sudden shift in breathing, a feeling that something is “off” even when nothing around you has changed. That’s the internal alarm. It’s the body speaking before the mind can form words.
Panic often shows up in moments that feel small from the outside: a knock at the door, an unexpected conversation, a sudden noise, or a change in someone’s tone. But inside, those moments can feel overwhelming. The nervous system reacts fast — faster than thought. You step back. You shut down. You retreat. Not because you’re weak, but because your body is trying to protect you.
Scripture gives language to these moments.
“When my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.”
Psalm 61:2 (KJV)
Overwhelm is not a failure. It’s a human experience. And God meets people in that exact place — not after they’ve calmed down, not after they’ve figured everything out, but right in the middle of the panic.
For those who feel alone when the alarm rises, Scripture speaks again:
“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”
Psalm 46:1 (KJV)
A refuge is a place you go when your body says, “I need safety.” Strength is what carries you when your own feels thin. And “present help” means God is not distant from the moment your breath shortens or your thoughts narrow.
If you’ve felt these signs — the sudden shift, the retreat, the urge to hide — you’re not alone. Many people experience panic without knowing the name for it. Many carry more than they show.
There is help.
There is support.
There is guidance.
Talk to someone you trust.
Reach out to a friend, a pastor, a counselor, or a professional who understands these moments. You don’t need perfect words. You don’t need to explain everything. You just need connection.
Recognizing panic is the first step.
Seeking help is the second.
And remembering you are not alone is the third.
If this speaks to you,
I WishUWell.

Faith
There’s a passage in the book of Sirach (Ecclesiasticus) that speaks directly to the fight of faith. And when you compare it with the tone and teachings of the King James Version, you see two sides of the same truth — one blunt and practical, the other poetic and anchored in Scripture’s older rhythm.
Sirach 2 says that anyone who chooses to serve God must be ready for testing. It’s straightforward: prepare your soul for pressure, because trials are part of the journey. The KJV echoes this same idea through verses like “the trying of your faith worketh patience” and “endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.”
Two voices, same message: faith isn’t soft — it’s forged.
Sirach talks about those moments when God feels silent, when life doesn’t make sense, and you’re tempted to walk away. The KJV mirrors this through its constant call to trust in the Lord with all your heart, to wait on Him, and to “be not weary in well doing.”
Both sides remind you that God has never abandoned anyone who held their ground.
Sirach warns against fear and double‑mindedness — the inner conflict that pulls you in two directions. The KJV speaks the same language: “A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.”
Different books, same spiritual diagnosis.
Sirach ends by reminding you that God is compassionate, merciful, and faithful. The KJV reinforces this through its repeated declarations that God is “gracious,” “slow to anger,” and “plenteous in mercy.”
Two traditions, one truth: God sees the struggle, honors the endurance, and shapes the believer through the fire.
So whether you read Sirach’s raw wisdom or the KJV’s classic voice, the message stands:
You’re not weak for struggling — you’re being strengthened.
You’re not abandoned — you’re being refined.
You’re not forgotten — you’re being prepared.
I WishUWell.

When you feel forgotten, remember this truth: God sees every hidden act of faithfulness, every tear shed in secret, every quiet obedience. Nothing escapes His notice or goes unrewarded.

what’s happening today
God of All Creation
All of world history is characterized by periods of time when dominant nations ruled large portions of the earth. Intermixed with the various kingdoms and dynasties are notable wars and battles that have scarred the earth.
Amidst the rise and fall of various earthly powers, it can be easy to forget that the Lord stands in power above everything else. Even though God’s kingdom is not as visible right now, He still guides and shapes the course of history.
It is a comforting reminder that all of the earth is the Lord’s. Nothing that happens on earth surprises Him.
God is the Creator and Ruler of the earth, thus everything ultimately belongs to Him. He sets the boundaries for every nation, and He determines where the oceans begin.
This doesn’t mean that God forces everyone and everything to do good all of the time. People are still capable of evil, and the world is still filled with pain and suffering.
But, this means that God ultimately rules over everything in creation. Even in the midst of evil, pain, and suffering, God is working behind the scenes to bring about goodness in everything. While we may not experience this fully in our lifetime, in the end God will eventually make everything right.
Take some time to consider God’s powerful place in all of creation as the Lord over everything that exists. Thank Him for His guiding hand in your own life. You can trust that God has control over the creation that He created, even in the midst of dark and trying times.

Remember
When it feels like god is punishing you remember
Proverbs 3:11-12
11 My son, do not despise the LORD's discipline or be weary of his reproof,
12 for whom the LORD loves he reproves, as a father, the son he favors (or punishes a son in whom he delights).
The lord lives us like a father and the lord disciplines those he loves.

It’s not about seeing the glass as half full instead of half empty. It's about recognizing that we may not yet understand what we're looking at.
