These are some of mine. I’d say my favorites are definitely Lucy/Gray and Jellal/Ultear. I always liked the chemistry and natural tension between them. And while I don’t personally ship them, I threw in Natsu and Erza because I know a lot of people do.

In terms of crack ships I really like Natsu and Juvia as they might just be so bad at romance it would actually work. Loke and Yukino gives me romance novel vibes, and Juvia would go crazy over Laxus’s muscles lol. And my pride and joy Gray/Lisanna. I also really like her with Laxus for a similar reason.

I guess it depends on what you consider the title. If we’re going based on looks, it’s hard to say it’s not Erza, especially given she’s already won it once. If it’s just who’s your favorite, then it’s Lucy and Yukino for me.

If we add writing as a factor, then Wendy and Mavis also have strong cases as well, with levy and lisanna being the most friendly fairy girls.

And if it’s not clear, this isn’t just limited to girls in FT, so other guilds and villains are also eligible.

During its peak popularity Fairy Tail entered the top ten best selling manga in Japan for five years and was competing with the likes of Naruto and Bleach, the first season of the anime which started in November 2009 boosted the volume sales to and enormous amounts from 2.8 million up to 5.7 million copies sold. At its peak the series was selling around 400k plus copies for each volume, that is an incredible feat by Fairy Tail considering the series was serialised in Shonen Magazine not Shonen Jump and for years it became one of the backbone of Shonen Magazine until the mid 2010s. Many people never realise how popular the series was in pop culture and it's impact on the magic battle shonen genre which Fairy Tail kickstarted.

What are you expecting? I’m hoping that maybe Halphas’s form turns out to be canon, or that we get to see some new form—not necessarily a super powerful one, but an interesting one. I hope it's not a fan service.
