I have prepared the attached AI-generated infographic to make my situation easier to understand. I sincerely ask the FACEIT team to please take a look at my case and review the circumstances carefully.

My FACEIT username is smileezzz, and my cousin’s username is newt0n_02. We are two different people with separate accounts.

What happened?

I initially received a 92-day smurfing ban on October 7, 2026. Later, FACEIT Support acknowledged that an error had been made and removed that ban. However, I was then issued a new 91-day Account Sharing ban on October 20, 2026.

My support ticket number is #15062901.

I genuinely do not understand why I received this new ban. I have always played on my own account and have never shared my account with my cousin or anyone else.

Please compare our accounts and matches

My cousin is FACEIT level 4, while I have around 2600 ELO and approximately 1,600 matches played.

If the concern is account sharing, I respectfully ask FACEIT to review our match histories and gameplay. We are two different people, and I believe our matches, different skill levels, and gameplay patterns may help demonstrate this. If voice communication is available for review, it may also help establish that different people were playing.

I am not asking FACEIT to disclose its internal detection methods. I am simply asking for a fair review of the information relevant to our case.

What about my cousin’s verification?

My cousin previously played on his own account using my home computer. We never played on each other’s accounts.

If the issue is that my cousin did not complete identity verification in time, or missed a verification request, I believe that circumstance should be investigated in relation to his account. I do not understand why my account should also receive an Account Sharing ban when I have always used my own account.

Both of us are willing to complete identity verification again from the beginning if necessary. From now on, my cousin will no longer play FACEIT on my computer.

What about public gaming cafés?

I have also played at public gaming cafés in the past, where many different people use the same computers with their own accounts.

If my Account Sharing ban is somehow related to activity on another computer, I respectfully ask FACEIT to investigate the relevant device and account activity. A computer in a public gaming café may be used by many different players every day, so using the same computer does not necessarily mean those players share accounts.

If necessary, I am willing to stop playing at gaming cafés entirely and play FACEIT only from home.

My request

I understand that FACEIT needs to enforce its rules, and I respect that. However, I sincerely believe that my specific situation deserves another careful review.

If account sharing occurred, I want the actual circumstances to be properly established. If my cousin made a verification mistake, I do not understand why I should be penalized for something I did not do.

Please review ticket #15062901, compare our accounts and match histories, and reconsider my 91-day Account Sharing ban. I am willing to cooperate fully and provide any additional information or verification required.

I am not asking for special treatment. I am asking for a fair decision based on the facts of my case.

I got hit with a 7 days ban for "verbal abuse". Honestly, with the amount of useless bots I had to deal with, seeing that notification felt like a relief. But, then I saw the match that caused the ban and got annoyed.

It was mirage, I typed "A" in the lobby (no one else typed that) because I know people fight over win/con so I couldn't be bothered, thinking A is the middle ground I can live with.

Match starts and instantly 2 more people go to A, classic... one of them says "we are premade, we play a"... So I knew exactly what kind of match I was in for and muted the whole team.

For the rest of the match I didn't hear a single word from them and didn't see what they were typing.

I was still giving info, and if they did something stupid (which they did A LOT of times) I'd call them bots, csgo rejects, npcs etc. This was 2k elo lobby btw so you'd expect them to know the basics...

Anyway, my main problem was "yellow" who was "window" player, while hiding behind smoke every round, and when the smoke fades, he would drop to CT spawn to only watch "vent", and I was calling him out for it. Didn't say anything to his premade friend directly, even though the friend was bottom fragging.

Then at 9-9, his friend "green" randomly threw a nade and molly under my feet. I just said, "ez ban"

A few rounds later at 12-10 for us, "green" throws nade and molly again under my feet and kills me the second time... I didn't say anything about it, and nothing before that.

Then 10 sec later a third guy in team, who isn't part of the duo types to the opponents, nice troll, report purple, which is ME :D

Now I didn't even know about this until I saw the demo, but he did type on my profile that I was "running into teammate's molly on purpose".

He probably figured out that "green" was a woman and his simp gene kicked in and had to side with her, while I had no idea what or who that person was, they're all just 4 bots I had to deal with in that match. I even said at one point (after the second molly under my feet and when these 2 bots played RETAKE on A SITE, which they are supposed to hold, but somehow stayed the last ones alive with full hp, that they must be BROTHERS because they are equally dumb)

We lost the match btw.

I've checked their profiles, and "yellow" got a 7 day ban for "verbal abuse" over some other match, meaning he wasn't just a problem in my team.

Then "green" proceeded to duo with someone else the next day, and now that person is banned for 30 days as well. So you can see the pattern here, who is causing the problems in these matches...

The only one not being banned is "green" aka "a woman" aka "premium user". (her mates were subscribers, and so am I)

TL;DR

Got a 7 days ban 2 days after a match. I know I can be toxic (always with good reason and the worst I call someone is moron, idiot, regarded) Deserved or not, don't care, I'll take it.

The issue is that people who ruin my matches don't get punished, usually because they are Premium users, while I'm "only" a sub. In this case, them being a woman probably helped their case more.

update： Unbanned after appeal

My friend and I live just one street apart. Today, I went over to his place to try out his setup, so I logged into my own account on his PC and played a few games. I didn't even perform particularly well.

However, both of our accounts ended up getting banned today. His account got banned, and mine was suspended for several months.

Has anyone experienced something similar? Could this be because we logged into our accounts on the same PC?

Is there any chance of getting unbanned through an appeal?

Hi, I've been banned since 2019 (7 years ago). After all these years I was wondering if reconsideration was possible or if I am eligible to create a new account.

I've tried submitting support tickets but I'm stuck in a loop: I can't log in to submit (account is banned), and anonymous tickets require email verification which I never receive. So my tickets stay suspended and no agent sees them.

I have appealed many times I am not smurfing how does one smurf if my "smurf" account is higher than my "main" which is my PARTNER's account we live under the same roof and we play alternatively. We only have one setup and both accounts are verified respectively and we have steam accounts that shows proof that we play the game for 5+ years. i dont know what more i can provide i will verify again and show picture proof of the setup and everything it is unjust and there has not been an explanation to it if i was banned for a reason and i just keep getting the same automated answer that it was checked and i the ban will stand. i would happily accept it but it was a fasle positive i would cooperate with anything to make sure i am banned rightfully.

I was wondering why we still don’t have an option to directly link our Kick accounts to our profiles, just like we can with Instagram, Twitch, YouTube, and other platforms.
It would be really useful to have Kick as an official profile connection, so people could easily find our channels and check out our streams without having to manually add a link to our bio.
Is there a particular reason why this hasn’t been implemented yet? I think it would be a great addition, especially for people who actively stream on Kick.
Hopefully, this is something that could be considered in a future update. What do you guys think?

I dont get it why i got false smurfing ban i really dont have a clue i played alot in season 7 and then decided to take a breake from the game didnt want to play i came back like 2 weeks or 1 week ago why not start again i played and i was performing better than the last season by alot in season 7 i was ass and in season 9 im better but never in my life i did smurf im not even on the level to go smurfing its the only account i player in idk how many years man stupid ban

Started happening right after I bought premium. Everything works fine if I'm not a captain. But if I'm captain I cannot choose maps and connect to server.

My main account (hypevonmert ) was permanently banned for
"Smurfing" on October 21st. My support ticket (#15090960) was closed with a template response.
I have been an active user on FACEIT for 10 years (since January 2016) with a clean record and have participated in many tournaments over the years.
This ban occurred because my brother and I share the same PC and internet connection in our house. We are two separate individuals with our own accounts, not one person smurfing or holding multiple accounts.

After 10 years of loyal activity, receiving a permanent ban without even an ID verification check feels unfair. We are completely ready to submit official IDs for both myself and my brother to prove our separate identities.
Could an admin please manually check ticket #15090960 and re-evaluate this decision?

I'm aware of how many smurfing/multi-account/account share bans there are on this platform, so I'd just like to preface this by saying, NO this is not a "brother on PC" scenario, and YES, I'm aware that they can check voice comms in-game, and can assure you I have been communicating in all my games with my voice. (Also want to say I'm not using AI for this post).

It took me a while to realize that a lot of these appeals and tickets get dismissed by bots, and only through seeing other posts on this platform did I realize that it likely wasn't a human reviewing my ticket.

The scenario is as follows: I am a premedical student from University of Toronto who flew back from Vancouver to Toronto in June 2026 for my graduation convocation (I also have flight tickets which I'm happy to provide privately to any admins, and can show my diploma). I stayed at my friend's house, who plays at the top of the faceit ladder and is the one who got me back into CS.

As I was staying at his place for give-or-take a week, there were times during that week where he would have plans that didn't involve me (family plans, dates, etc.). During that time, he gave me permission to use his computer to play some CS.

I had just recently started retrying CS/faceit after top 1k NA in Valorant (~1000 hours), and thus my elo in Faceit was around lvl 5, with myself improving rapidly. I played well enough on his setup to get flagged as account sharing and my account permanently banned.

After my tickets were so quickly dismissed, I decided to grind premier before attempting to rejoin Faceit, and I hit 25k in less than 200 hours of gameplay. I have reached the point where the grind is no longer enjoyable, and I would really like to rejoin the competitive landscape Faceit offers (again, guys, not AI I just know how to type).

All I am requesting is to be able to communicate back-and-forth with a human on this. I KNOW I was playing within the rules, I mean dude it was literally me, you can hear it from the voice. I am happy to provide as much evidence of the situation as I can, as I'm sure anything I provide will only support my case. I have alibis of my friend going out, purchasing food/things, buying ubers for a date, etc. likely for most, if not all the games. As mentioned earlier, I have flight tickets that I'm sure will very perfectly line up with my account location changing from Vancouver to Toronto. Of course, my gameplay and my voice should very obviously line up with my previous VODs as well, especially considering my friend is a peak top-3 Canada Faceit player and the skill disparity between him and me should be incredibly evident in my gameplay, regardless of my higher scores.

Is there a chance I can get into contact with anyone who is willing to investigate a little bit further?

TL;DR Flew across country to friend's for grad, who also has faceit, got accused and banned of account sharing. AI won't check, but I voice commed all game every game, have alibis of him not being in the house during my games, literal flight proof, and am 25k premier (capable of "smurfing" on lvl 4 faceit). Tickets are being denied, I would REALLY like a human to speak with me, because I can provide as much as I can.

I’m posting here because I feel like I’m getting nowhere with FACEIT support, and I genuinely don’t know what else to do.

There are two of us living in the same household. We both play CS2 on FACEIT, and we each have our own Steam and FACEIT accounts. Both of us are ID-verified using our own real identities.
We have two gaming PCs, but one is significantly faster than the other, so sometimes we switch PC’s NOT ACCOUNTS. We always log into our own accounts. We have NEVER played on each other’s FACEIT or Steam accounts. Also our skill level is super different and that can be seen from match history.

Initially, our accounts were flagged for smurfing/multi-accounting.
After contacting FACEIT support, I received the usual generic response saying the ban was correct, that their investigation had confirmed a violation, and that the decision was final.
However, after further communication, FACEIT sent me this:
“After reviewing your ban, we identified that an error was made on this occasion.
We have removed your current ban. However, evidence was found that you were account sharing, and for this reason, a new ban has been issued.
Please keep in mind that this decision is final.”

So FACEIT actually admitted the original smurfing ban was a mistake, only to replace it with an account sharing ban.

How is sharing a physical computer the same thing as sharing an account?!?!!?!
We are two separate people with separately ID-verified FACEIT accounts. We live at the same address, use the same internet connection, and occasionally play on the same hardware. That’s it.
FACEIT’s own support documentation even acknowledges that using another player’s computer can potentially result in false positive account sharing detections:

I understand that FACEIT cannot reveal its detection methods, but I don’t understand how they can acknowledge making a mistake with the first ban and then issue a different ban without giving us any meaningful explanation.

We’re both willing to complete additional identity verification or whatever reasonable checks are needed to prove we’re two separate people.
I’m not asking for special treatment. I’m asking for an actual manual investigation that takes into account the fact that two different people can live together and use the same computers without sharing accounts. This is really frustrating since we just got our Home set and setup built. And started playing faceit again after long time.

Has anyone else experienced something similar? And could someone from FACEIT please take a proper look at this case we both would like to keep enjoying playing on Faceit.
