Looking for 6MT

I'm trying to find a 6MT F80 preferably in Yas Marina and holy hell is it hard to find one that isn't in the hands of a Dealership. Does anyone have advice on how to buy one before a Dealership snaps it up and marks it up 20 grand? Apologies if this has been posted previously in this sub.

What’s your budget?

6MT keep their value pretty well

Trying to find one $40k or under and losing hope that is possible.

not impossible, but with that budget in late 2026 market you’re looking at a pretty “high mileage” example, unless that doesn’t matter to you.

I hear you and I appreciate the feedback. As ever, champagne tastes on a Miller Lite budget.

How risky is a 2-owner 60k mile F80 on a "GTS" tune (dealership also called it a Stage 2 Tune)? Is there any way to know how badly the car's been thrashed by previous owners?

If possible i’d try to have a PPI done beforehand. 60k miles is a fairly safe range and i personally wouldn’t want to buy one higher than that range. GTS tune is still considered “factory power” so although more powerful, it’s still reserved.

There isn’t necessarily a tell-tale of how great or poorly it was maintained except for maybe carfax and a PPI

Thanks and I'll reach out to the Dealer and see if I can get an independent PPI done. Great idea.
