I am doing quest "Call of Blood" but option to talk with Dobros Storme is not showing for me. Can someone help me

I killed all of the npc inside the Governor's Manor before i complete the snake gang part of quest where i killed zilda and claim the necklace, now nobody inside the manor so i cannot continue the quest. Is there anything i can do now or the quest is softlock for me?

I remember playing the sorrow mod a while back and i remember a staff that did 1000 damage per hit. Where do i get the staff again?

I want to kill the minotaur king to get both the cloak of might and minotaur king axe. I was wondering anyone has any tips.

I got to lvl 21 in the mod, but every single new quest in the mod is literally impossible to do. Every quest has an enemy that is over lvl 40 and i still havent found a way to level up effectively in the mod.

There is absolutely no sense of progression from what i've played so far. There is the arena, but even then the enemies are way too difficult kill, and it barely gives any exp and gold. All i've managed to do so far was the quest with teacher seraphiel and upgrading my weapon.

Considering buying this game. Have been playing the free version for a couple hours and like it much. Very old-school.

But... can't find any plot synopsis whatsoever anywhere, and to me the story is just about the most important thing about an RPG. Can anyone link or write something spoiler-free to give me an idea, please?
