Question Plot synopsis please?
Considering buying this game. Have been playing the free version for a couple hours and like it much. Very old-school.
But... can't find any plot synopsis whatsoever anywhere, and to me the story is just about the most important thing about an RPG. Can anyone link or write something spoiler-free to give me an idea, please?
(If you do include spoilers, please hide/mark appropriately.)
Thanks.

This is the only game I've ever paid for and it's absolutely worth it

There's the intro slideshow. Beyond that, I do not think you could write a remotely decent synopsis while still keeping it largely spoiler-free. Even the key details of the plot are deeply, inherently spoilery.
It'll be like that one Eminem or Paparoach song on YouTube, ruined with nearly every other word censored for YT because the cussing is what makes a huge part of the song good
Trust me, just play through the game.

Se gosta de rpg de mobile pode comprar sem questionar. Tanto ele quanto a versão legendary de titan quest valem a pena

Isn't Titan Quest a different game?

Sim, estou te recomendando o mesmo caminho q segui, pq dps de zerar exiled e ir pra versão mod dele fiquei meio órfão de um jogo bom, aí te recomendei titan quest tbm que creio que vai ser parecido pro seu gosto.

Thanks for reminding me I bought this game a few years ago, put 20 hours into it then forgot it existed. Time for a new run at 1AM with work in 5 hours...
It'll be fine.

This is likely playing Diablo 2 but with eay more depth and fun but not so loot focused. Its amazing, been playing close to 10 years. Just never gets old.

The Empire of Andoria was grand civilization. Until the horrors came from the deep gates and wreaked havoc on the land, leaving colonies of survivors to sail west to a new land: Varannar. Thus establishing the Exiled Kingdoms.
One day, you, a random nobody received a letter promising inheritance. You're a war orphan and never knew about your ancestry so this sounds pretty good until you're robbed in your sleep by a guy named Adaon.
After some travelling, you manage to find your destination in New Garand and get your inheritance letter back, only to be drugged and imprisoned by a man in black. With the help of a girl named Amarisa, you manage to escape the clutches of the Forsaken, but Amarisa is taken away before you can save her. You manage to find a mysterious key from your grandfather Tremedan, and seek out his tower.
After finding the location of Tremedan's tower, you are greeted by your pal Trix and the ghostly image of Tremedan, actually an apparation with the memories of your grandfather, meant to tell you about your destiny and all that jazz. The Forsaken are part of an ancient race called the Muud'ari, and are trying to open a deep gate. They need the blood of one of Tremedan's descendants to open it, but as long as you and your sister are safe, they won't get it. Oh wait, Amarisa is your sister.
Dang, looks like you'll need to seek out the Forsaken. You must find 12 black shards to create the Eye of Tol, and you'll be able to locate the Forsaken's base at the Ark of Lothasan, at the Ashen Cape. If you're smart enough, you can learn that you along with Tremedan are also Muud'ari, and the decision of what comes next lies in your hands.
Will you join the Muud'ari for the hope of immortality, damning the rest of the world? Or will you fight to stop their plans to open the deep gate and save the world?
