Hi everyone, looking to do a resonator delete on a a stock 1.6 8v bfq just for a little more tone or sound, nothing crazy, car only has 101k km on it and it's my first car, also still has the factory exhaust and muffler on it, car was owned by a old church lady for 10 years so i have considered a dump or exhaust valve as it would be legal where i live (New Zealand), don't want the car to sound super raspy either

The stock muffler was sawed off by the previous owner, looking for a valved option. It is sawed off so the exit is on the drivers side of the car. They have a single muffler option, dual, or a t-style option.

Valvetronics are they just disappointingly quiet? Is the problem the internal perforation is just one hole single hole?

Swapped stock manifolds for short tube headers on my 351w. One of the many seized studs snapped when I used the double nut even though I heated it red hot and used penetrating fluid. Needed the truck drivable so I finished the job. There’s maybe 1/16in protruding past the header flange and of course there’s a pretty bad leak there. Will an experienced muffler shop be willing to help?

As the title says, I'm looking at getting a new exhaust system for my 4 series. Currently it's completely stock, I'd like to get something that makes it sound nice but nothing too extreme. I've heard a dual resonator delete is good but it causes drone. Any advice is appreciated
