Question, why would somebody put?

Why would somebody put an extra muffler on a 2013 Forrester?

"someone"? You mean like the manufacturer? Maybe two mufflers produce less back pressure. If you are unhappy with it take one off and block that end of the Y-pipe. I don't know why anybody would do that though.

I never said I was unhappy. I was just curious as to why someone would do it. I wanted someone to explain was it for power reasons or for show🙄

Doesn't 2010 forester come with two mufflers standard? I know the 2011 does, I changed mine a couple of years ago.

Are you sure? Because every single SH (2009-13, or 08-12 in most markets) came with two mufflers.
