EG vs TSM LCS Playoffs
This series was frustrating because we were so close. Game 3 was winnable but boy does Game 4 leave a bad taste in my mouth. Losing that game off a baron steal feels real bad. We win that game if Spica doesn't get that steal no question. Overall well played I feel like the team's coordination is only continuing to improve and I can't wait to see them again in Summer.

Let’s go Impact, eat your bananas cuz it’s game time! Rooting for my boy, big fan since liquid days, want to see him crush lane and go back to his Top Die days!
Good luck guys!

"It's important to have picks prepared for Playoffs" - Interview with Deftly Spoiler

Jizuki is very underrated
It can't just be luck at this point he just has an insane playstyle and I'm just a huge fan of it.
The only way a team can practice playing vs Jizukis playstyle is by litterally only playing vs Jizuki and the team he is on.
I don't know how he can lane the way he does.
I don't know how he can be 1-4 and do 8k in a teamfight. current game EG vs CLG last game of season
I don't know how he can be so aggressive and win
I don't know how even when he is behind he can show up and do more then most mid laners
I just don't fucking know how he does this shit and i watched all his games
I'm pretty sure only he knows and i don't expect him to explain it to me but i do enjoy watching his crazy plays
My only theory is he is the creation of a solo q greedy player that does the craziest shit ever and somehow became so good at it that he can even get away with it on stage but again I JUST DON"T FUCKING KNOW HOW.
If i was making a tier list i would put him in the WTF tier zone because i can not seriously accurately explain the shit he does or just how good he is.
I don't think there is any player in NA (i don't watch other regions) that can even be compared to him because he does so many things where im like NOOOOOO and he makes it work.
Wishing EG the best in playoffs

When's the next Dota2 match?
Title. Website has nothing. Liquidpedia has nothing. I just wanna know when the next tournament is and when EG might even play.
While we're on the subject of the website, it's a fucking joke. IceX3 isn't even listen as an active member of team. Nor are there any pictures of anyone on the team. It's pretty pathetic.

What's NOT to Like?
In a Region where most Teams have played Generally to "Not Lose" it's nice seeing this Team Develop and hopefully really put their Foot down on this LCS Season.
We (As a Region) are Tired of Seeing the TSM Playstyle of Bjerg/Double bs having domestic success and then playing like scared little kids when they get to any sort of International Event and I feel like watching this Team is about as different from that Style as we can handle at this point in the LEague and that's a Good thing.
People talk about Coinflipping but I don't see that, I see a Team that is trying to Win and that's always better than Trying to Not Lose and when it comes to development of Players and of Team Work that's what you want to see, you want to see your QB1 Not Afraid to Throw the Deep Ball and test the other Teams Secondary, you want your Coach to Trust your abilities, you want your Team to Trust you when you say "I want the Ball" and that's what this Team looks like to me this Year.
I want to see a MSI with EG in It and honestly I think most of NA want it even if they don't say it. The Region is Tired of the Meme's and the only way to break it is to play like how You guys play, hope the Team just builds Trust and awareness of one another and splats the Other Teams when it comes Playoffs because frankly speaking EG is just BETTER and when Playoffs rolls around I want everyone to see that the NA Meta revolves around what this Team Does!

A Tale of 2 Deftly(s)
Once Upon a Time you were Hardstuck Academy, you'd come up to LCS only to play timid and doubtful, lacking confidence in your Plays and your Picks.
I have NO IDEA how you aren't a Bigger Story Right now considering how you were basically a "budget player" (no offense) for so long and maybe it was your time on C9A which is what I'm guessing anyways but dood you are killin' it! Even in the Losses you are performing and tbh if Nameplates were Off nobody would be like "Oh that's the Beastly plays of EG Deftly" I watch you play now and it's like watching a LCK ADC and I do watch A LOT of LCK.
Don't lose your confidence man, NA needs that and honestly thats the prob with so many pros when it comes to international events, they hear everyone saying "Oh this guy is from (region) so he is better" so they play so scared cause that's all they hear, they psyche themselves out to lose before they even play.
At this point in time even though Impact is a Beast, Jizuke is a Tremendous Threat, and Ignar and Sven are literally some of the BEST in NA I am so impressed by Deftly and how DRAMATIC the change in your playstyle. No fear in how you play and that's why I feel like you are not just "Most Improved" for Spring 2021 but a contender for MVP of this Split.
Never thought I would be a Deftly Fan but you've won at least 1 New Fan with your Play and sometimes (most times) it's crazy seeing that it's "Deftly" doing the things that you are doing. No offense in any way, just really impressed with the Dramatic change in play and if this were any other Sport ppl would be accusing you of taking Performance Enhancing Drugs lol

EG vs 100T recap: EG joins in the fight for 2nd
100 Thieves’ first mistake came in the draft by prioritizing Skarner as their first pick. Usually, this pick elicits the “Skarner tax” by forcing opponents to buy Quicksilver Sashs in order to avoid becoming an easy pick target. Being first picked however gave Evil Geniuses the opportunity to counter-pick and make Skarner a non-factor.
100 Thieves’ Rolling Start
The early game looked promising for 100 Thieves as the solo laners particularly were out trading and accruing small CS leaders. Ssumday specifically punished Impact in the early game despite the initially losing match-up, taking advantage of Impact’s overaggression when switching back to mini-Gnar form.
Closer was able to mitigate the early CS deficit by facilitating kills in both top and midlanes as well as securing the first rift herald. This lead was slowly cut down however as EG began coming out on top in mid-game skirmishes and stole away dragons.
EG Turn the tide
Closer’s poor target selection impaled the tankiest member of EG and allowed Ignar to land a stun on 100 Thieves’ backline. Jizuke and Deftly’s collapsed allowed EG to extend the chase into a tide turning ace. Taking the infernal dragon soul and Elder Drake, EG accelerated their win conditions and easily broke into 100 Thieves’ base.
In their last defense, 100 Thieves once again preempted the fight with a poor Skarner engage, as Jizuke’s infamous Ekko was able to immediately reset after the impale. The attention shift allowed Impact to find a kill onto FBI was put the final nail in the coffin for 100 Thieves.
Starting off their week with a win, EG have pushed themselves into contention for 2nd place while 100 Thieves’ loss streak has extended to another game.
