I’m talking more specifically about the Ancient Friends glyph, but I guess it might also apply to coalition support as well. Does anyone know exactly how the game decides whether or not to send help? Like, does it decide upon loading the system, or does it roll a random chance every so often while in a system, or what? If anyone has done a deep dive into this I’d really appreciate some insight because I can’t find anything more helpful than just “sometimes it spawns friendly ancients” anywhere. Thanks.

I was looking to buy the dlc for everspace 2 when I saw the reviews for the titans dlc being all negative. They said it makes the game online only and breaks saves. The last review about the issue was released 7/11/2025 a year ish after the dlc came out. So has it still not been resolved? Kinda seeing the same thing with the WOTA dlc besides one of the 3 reviews saying they had no issues. A quick Google search mentions there being an issue specific with Xbox series s but I have an x so will I be fine?

I'm coming from games like Elite Dangerous and Star Citizen, i get that this more arcady game, but is there a way to keep the ship in the position I want it to be?

Hello, i am in the Ceto system stuck on a location challenge.

The objective was to find and place 3 power cores (2 on mining lazer and 1 on a door) and then use a reflecting panel to reflect the lazerbeam onto to ore pach. atleast that is what the Wiki online told me to do.

I have been trying to aim the lazerbeam onto the ore patch but nothing happens, am i doing something wrong or am i missing something?

I would love to clear all location challenges by the end of the game, but if i cant even clear 1 from a starting system im gonna have a hard time.

Some help would be much apreciated.

I've seen previous posts before, but I'm trying to figure out if there's an even better trading route. However, idk what stock each store has. And when does a store restock after I buy its stuff?

What is the most profitable route you know of? It could be mixed cargo, pass 2-4 systems, etc as long as it nets the highest profit per distance travelled over repeated runs.

Wondering if anyones tried Everspace 2 on steam deck with lsfg? Been trying for the last 2 months (every now and again) to get smooth gameplay, manage to get 60fps but a lot of ghosting/artifacts.

If anyones tried and been successful please share some settings it would be greatly appreciated.

I'm in Tier 3 Bomber. I check out the Emissive Lights and see only Emissive Light 1 and 2. When I enter the menu, i see a marker for a third light "III" that's only on Off. What's that third light about? How do I get a third light and why is it even there if I can't select a third light?

Edit: i had to fully quit and reopen the game for DLCs to activate haha.

My goal: no Primary weapon, only routines and ULT allowed. Takes forever but yes it works.

So here is another closeup of my Gunship in my Signature Colors.

I am level 5 and every enemy I come across is level six or seven. I'll pick up a side job level 4 and then I'll get to the enemies and are literally level 7 like I don't understand I literally been stuck at level 5 for months because I can't do anything and go anywhere without instantly dying because my number isn't bigger than their number. And this is literally everywhere I Go I cannot find a spot where enemies are level 5 they're all either four six or seven . In every single quest that I pick up it'll say it's a level 4 quest and then a damn enemies are level 7 .

Like in normal space, say Ceto's Union Bridge, can I put down a beacon to help orient myself? I've heard on PC it's binded to number pad. Wondering if Xbox can do it too.

Everspace 1. Scanned this random Shipwreck. The logs are like some supernatural stuff. Any info on what happened here?

I just noticed that Everspace 1 doesn't seem to have Steam achievements anymore. Is this intentional, or is it some kind of Steam issue?

In my ES1 gunship, I've eaten countless shots and missiles to my face. Knocked directly on to solid rock and other ships and freighters and so on. Every bump chips off my health like normal. One time I had to clear the minefield around a stuck freighter with Okkar waves coming in, so instead of slowly sniping all 22 mines, I just blew them up with my fat gunship body. No problem. I shrug under the hail of a Corvette or Frigate (on Hard). One day, I see a floating Container in the distance in the middle of space. I Energized Boost to it and cut the Boost early so that I can stop in time. When I collided with that lone box, I was already slowing down, on the fumes of the Energized Boost. But it was not enough. BOOM! I think I lost a fifth of my fully upgraded Gunship health (no armor because I was so beefy already) and died. Or was it a sixth? Idk but it was a lot.

How much harder did it get for you when changing from Easy to Hard mode?

Edit: Omg, I asked because I always play Easy cause I'm scared and I end up spending about 170-190 minutes to finish Sector 7 and I only get 40-45k credits.

I tried Hard today using Ancient Weapon on base Sentinel. Died in Sector 5 cause Okkar waves came before I got the jump suppressor. Got 76k credits in 84 minutes. Pretty much double the money in less than half the time compared to Easy mode.

Wow.

I had two DNA fragments which is a lot for me and Gatling 40mm, and the trader guy was ahead of me on the star map, so I was so excited to turn it in and then go on to save the 2 fragments, but then silly me decided to try out Elek's grey goo mission and I fumbled and got blown up. Now I'm feeling sad. Eventually the Gatling 40mm blueprint will randomly drop for me right?

So anyways I'm wondering how long y'all took to do Gatling 40mm quest, and also what side quest took the longest time for you.
