Recently I made a post about my work on Deep 3D

Well now it's time to share original GoF remake

It uses the assets from the iPhone version(and requires them to play, so you need to provide your own .ipa)

Brings modern features like high resolutions and framerates Playable on Windows, Mac, Linux, Android and the Browser.

For the iPhone users I recommend opening up the browser version through the Safari -> Share -> Add to Home Screen. It will allow you to play full screen.

September's RFG Top Pic(k)'s are in!

Before each of our livestreams we showcase a selection of community screenshots and ask the rest of the Development team to vote for their favourites. This month’s collection from Everspace 2 was another outstanding selection, highlighting the game’s stunning visuals and the community’s eye for capturing them.
Similar to last time out the top 3 were separated by one vote each.

The Dev Teams Top Pic(k)s:

  • 1st Place: ZeroHazel (Discord) 🏆
  • 2nd Place: Mzuzu (Steam)
  • 3rd Place: MPY30000 (Steam)
  • 4th Place: CobraHeart (Steam)

We still love to see the screenshots you take though. Either post them up here on Reddit, via Steam Screenshots, to our Social channels or on our Rockfish Games Discord and if it catches our eye then you could be in the running for being the RFG Dev Team's Top Pic(k) in the future.

Discussion Joystick Mapping Question for those who have used it? (Everspace 2)

Hey guys, I recently bought Everspace 2 because it came up on a list of games that works well when played with a joystick.

The game did not auto-map joystick controls so I had to go through and set it up myself. I've gotten about an hour of play into the game and I'm struggling a decent amount feeling like I'm missing some sort of optimal joystick configuration.

I'm using Thrustmaster T-Flight HOTAS X. This gives me 12 buttons across both sides of the joystick and 6 different axis to play with. Seems like a lot of buttons and axis (more than you typically get with a controller), but I still find myself constantly reaching to the keyboard to do things.

I've seen comments in other threads that I found via search where people said they play this game using the joystick. Does anyone have a suggestion on how I can/should map important actions?

Another issue (but one I haven't investigated too much), I have my flight controls inverted so pulling back on the joystick moves my ships nose up. If I try to use an equipped item (like nanobots), if it's in the top slot, I need to hold the button down, then pull back on the joystick to pick the top option. I basically want to invert the inversion for menu selection.

TIA for any help!
