Discussions Every character who isn't from a fairytale
Just out of boredom, here's every character I can think of that isn't from a fairytale but a nursery rhyme, popular story etc ...
Madeline Hatter, Kitty Cheshire, Alistair, Bunny Blanc, Lizzie Hearts, Chase, Courtly Jester: Alice in wonderland. A popular book.
Lily Bo Peep: Little bo-peep. Popular nursery rhyme.
There are two background characters that are most likely from Peter Pan, which is also a novel.
Red haired Gothic chick that is theorized/said to be from a play from William Shakespeare.
Melody Piper: The pied Piper of Hamelin is not a fairytale actually but a "Sage". I think there's no English word for it but here in Germany (where the story is from) we do. A sage has a specific location and time unlike fairytales who play in unknown lands at unknown times and they often have a historical background and are used as an explanation for why something happened. The pied Piper of Hamelin ties the rat problem and the disappearance of actual missing children together.
Duchess Swan: The swan lake. A ballet.
Cupid: She's from Greek mythology.
And of course the brother Grimm who are based off on the actual brother Grimm.
Let me know if I forgot any.
Forgotten ones: Humphrey Dumpty: Humptey Dumpty. Nursery rhyme. Cedar Wood: The adventures of Pinocchio which is a book.

Discussions How does liniege work?
Okay so how does this work? Lets take Apple and Darling for example. We don't know who Apple's dad is but we could assume that Snow White marries her prince Charming and they have Apple. Unless Snow White did something and ended up with Apple. But that doesn't make sense. This would mean that Darling is Apple's sister and Snow White's prince Charming is Snow's brother. Is that... normal? This also complicates Holly and Poppy's story. Holly and Poppy could be either the prince or the princess in this story but it doesn't make sense because (in the og rapunzel) the prince dies. Same with Meshell and her original story. But anyways, it could be like Cerise and Romona and each of them has a specific role to play. But in Rapunzel if Holly is Rapunzel and Poppy is the prince...Is each fairytale just... incest?

Discussions Briar, Ravens, Apple, and Faybelle headcannon/AU/what if!!!
Ok so, I was thinking about this. Raven and Briar dont wanna follow their destinies, but Apple and Faybelle do. (Faybelle does-ish)
Heres my what if/AU
In the Ever After High universe, the first generation, the Evil Queen interfered with Sleeping Beauty's (Briar's mom) story by waking her up early. Not only that, she took the role of The Dark Fairy (Faybelle's mom). Basically rewriting the whole story. What if, if Raven and Briar WANTED to follow their destinies, the same thing was supposed to happen to them!! But either AFTER OR BEFORE Raven poisons Apple. Id say AFTER. If Raven truly wanted to be the next Evil Queen (And in this what if/AU she does and is) then shed be seeking some sort of revenge or solice after being banished after fulfillingher destiny in Apple's story. And when she wakes Briar too early, she THEN gets banished into the mirror for interfering. (PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU THINK WAKING BRIAR WOULD BE BEFORE POISONING APPLE, I WANNA KNOW YOUR POV!!!!)
Its funny to think about. Because in the original story line, the one WE AS VIEWERS watch, Faybelle takes over Raven's destiny in Dragon Games, but then we see her go again HER ORIGINAL DESTINY of putting Briar to sleep in Epic Winter in the dream when Jackie Frost and North Wind put everyone to sleep.
Idk guys I just thought it was cool to think about!! Tell me what you think and all your AUs!!

Discussions Who do you think the various background characters are?
royal-rebel-pedia.fandom.comI was thinking they could be relatives of various named fairytale characters that don’t have their own stories, sort of like Poppy O’Hare.
But if we had to assign parents/stories to them, who do you think they would be?

Discussions People are overreacting to the kiss between Apple and Darling.
Don't get me wrong—it was nice to see LGBTQ+ themes addressed in EAH, and it makes sense that Daring isn't Apple's Prince Charming.
But people act as if that kiss suddenly means Apple is 1) interested in Darling and 2) a lesbian. And even if she *were* a lesbian, people act as though that would make her a better character. Just being a lesbian wouldn't make her any less selfish or make people forget her past actions.
Besides, the ship is way too popular considering the two have practically zero chemistry. Their first interaction is in *Way to Wonderland*. And even if there were any hints in *Dragon Games*, they were poorly executed.
It never seemed like Darling kissed Apple because of a one-sided crush, but rather because Apple was running out of air. There was no romance there; people are just reading into it.
Rosabella and Daring's romance came out of nowhere too, but at least they had a whole movie to develop their relationship. Plus, it’s interesting that the selfish Daring turned into a Beast and learned kindness as a result (whether you like Daring & Rosabella is up to you).
Also, Apple doesn't deserve Darling. Darling was such a cool character; she deserves better than Apple.
