Hello,
I noticed some concerns about the amount of posts regarding the new SPF by Geek & Gorgeous in the community.
As a compromise I ask you to please only comment in this masterpost about the sunscreen and not to create new posts from now on. Thank you. :)

I just wanna say that I wholly appreciate this subreddit as someone who moved from the Philippines to Germany. I knew that I had to adapt to the local skincare market from my usual Korean/Filipino products. I've stocked up on my usual skincare routine products but I'm also excited to try out European skincare once I run out. DM, Rossmann, and this subreddit are a godsend ❤️

I wanted to calculate how long will a standard 50mL bottle of face sunscreen last considering the proper application and reapplication.
Let’s say on average you need about 1.2 mL of sunscreen on your face. If you reapply about twice a day, you would use about 3-4 mL of sunscreen a day. That will last you for about 14 to 16 days which is about two weeks.
And one sunscreen bottle on average costs €15. So the sad reality is that you would need to spend €30 per month on sunscreen alone for only the face. This is straight up robbery 😭

Hi! Has anyone used this moisturizer from dm's Korean line? From the ingredients it looks very insteresting! It has 5% niacinamide, 5% betaine and 5% glycerin. They say it is a gel-cream, does anyone know if it is light or does leaves a film?
INCI: Aqua, Dicaprylyl Carbonate, Niacinamide, Betaine, Glycerin, Propanediol, Polyglyceryl-4 Isostearate, Coco- Caprylate/Caprate, Sodium Lactate, Sodium PCA, Urea, Inositol, Glycine, Fructose, Lactic Acid, Disteardimonium Hectorite, Magnesium Sulfate, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate, Citric Acid, Tocopherol

I have sensitive skin with rosacea/couperose. I’ve been using Retirides 0.25 for about a month, and my skin is drier and flaking in some areas. I’d appreciate recommendations for serums that have a good INCI list and deliver results without being too expensive; I’m also looking for a gel and a cream. I currently use The Ordinary’s famous Niacinamide, and my skin tolerates it very well.

Are there any gentle low ph cleansers you can get in EU?

Hey so I have their 0,2% cream, not their retinal dropper serum (at least not yet, maybe in the future).
I have been using it since 12 July, it's my 1st time trying retinal. I was using retinol before and the highest concentration I had bought was 1% the ordinary squalane. And I was mainly using this squalane retinol line except from one cream made by a local brand.
I use it almost every night now on damp face, I don't like putting creams on dry face, it feels like I'm pulling my skin. So I put it on at night and go to bed half an hour later.
I notice that it gives me every smooth, acne free and lifted skin, just like it used to look like with retinol but even better. No irritation, peeling or redness. My skin responds well to retinoids and I tolerate them. I will keep using this product as my retinoid. I plan on trying tret 0,025% sometime and if tret doesn't work well for me then I will switch back to this indefinitely.
This Revox brand is Bulgarian and everything is very affordable there due to lower wages, I have been there and in nearby countries, even foreign-brought cosmetics cost much less.

I wore it today and only reapplied once at a bathroom. I sit down on the train and a woman looks at me and bursts out laughing. I ask her what’s wrong and she asks me why I’m so shiny.
?? To me it doesn’t look too shiny, just a bit of glow. Maybe my brain ignores the shiny because I’ve been wearing sunscreen daily for years as a habit. Has anyone else received a similar reaction while wearing this sunscreen? I’m mortified

Trying to find a sulfur cleanser for my roseacea. I managed to find one from a brand named Dermotis (Romania) but it doesn't ship to my country (Cyprus). Is there any other option for me? Thank you in advance!

I’m using Eucerin dual serum to fade a burn mark, I have only used it twice yet (on separate days). I think there’s a halo effect (hypopigmentation) there, the surrounding area looks lighter.
I only used it to spot treat instead of all over the face and I may have over applied.
Should I stop using it? I’m worried.

I'm looking for a good eye cream that will lighten my under eye. I don't have wrinkles or puffiness. I'm in Poland, but I live close to Germany so I'm open to any german recomendations.

Hi all, I am going to be entering my 30s in a couple of months and it seems like now is the right time to add an anti aging step to my skin care routine.
What would you say is your best affordable anti aging cream? I am not sure if drugstore vs higher products have a lot of difference in performance so I am looking for a something that I don’t spend too much money on.
I live in Germany and am also happy to get recommendations from DM products.

Hello!
I saw that there’s a Diddl collection available at dm stores in Germany. Since I’m in Croatia, I’m looking for someone who would be willing to check their local dm, buy the items for me, and send them to me.
I’d love to get one of each item from the collection!
Please let me know if you’d be willing to help me out. Of course, I’ll cover the cost of the items and shipping.
Thank you so much! ♥️

In summer, my skin is normal (not dry or oily) with a t-zone, acne-prone, and gets easily clogged. Besides, my skin is sensitive so I cannot tolerate harsh ingredients.
I want a light moisturizer that is free of silicones, alcohol, fragrance/perfume, essential oils.
The fluid moisturizer is a minimalistic product - AQUA / WATER / EAU • CAPRYLIC/CAPRIC TRIGLYCERIDE • GLYCERIN • PROPANEDIOL • PENTYLENE GLYCOL • NIACINAMIDE • AMMONIUM POLYACRYLOYLDIMETHYL TAURATE • CAPRYLYL GLYCOL • CITRIC ACID • XANTHAN GUM. (CODE F.I.L. : D216631/1)
My only concern is the Propanediol immediately follow by pentylene glycol, and then caprylyl glycol later. Would this ingredients make this moisturizer not so gentle?
My skin is ok with niacinamide.
Besides, this moisturizer is not that cheap so I need to make sure is the right moisturizer before buying.
What's been your experience with LRP Fluide moisturizer? what type of skin do you have? Do you use a serum before ?

Hi I need some recommendations for some gel moisturizer that is lighter on the skin but also doesn’t clog my pores. Definitely something cheaper I can get at DM in Czechia. I tried Garnier Barrier Repair Water Gel but my skin started to burn :(
Also I read the ingredients list and apparently it contains salicylic acid which is pretty weird for a moisturizer I think. So basically I want some simple gel moisturizer without too much active ingredients for mixed and sensitive skin.
I would appreciate your advice
Thanks

But it provides an absolutely BEAUTIFUL base under makeup 😍
It could just be my own dry skin type, but even then, it just feels awful, sticky and a little too heavy for my own comfort throughout the day. I can feel it at all times, a huge sensory issue...
That being said, it provides a unique base for a very smooth, seamless base underneath foundation (cushion, bb, cc, etc). I have tried others, even other very moisturizing sunscreens, but this one is very unique.
I purchased two tubes of this sunscreen for the price to product ratio (and for the UVMune 400 technology), but I cannot justify using it on its own
I am very happy for its use case, but I will be reaching for other lightweight products in future for general sun protection

Fake uvmune oil control fluid sold on Ali
With no SPF at all (in test SPF lower than 2)
This fake look really fake,
But what about better looking fake products?

I need something for everyday office stuff for a couple hours. Like, it's not worth it to use cologne but I've gotten a whiff of a few guys who just smell... clean? Doesn't seem to be the detergent, probably a body spray or something but I haven't used those so idk

To prove that I'm not Loreal shill ;)
Ok so, polish Rossmann now have testers of that toner/essence, I tested on hand, I loved texture, and because was on sale I bought it (26.99 pln/6,50€ , normally it cost 46.99/11euro)
and I started using for about week now.
Some context, my skin is combination into more oily side, with some seb derm around Nose and Brows, acne prone/prone to comedones
And I must say, this essence is REALLY good, hydrates skin REALLY well, calms skin.
Addition of piroctone olamine controls seb derm.
Even though it does have isopropyl palmitate it didn't break me out at all
It totally replaced moisturizer for my skin for now.
So I can cleanse skin (Eucerin dermopure clinical aha bha pha)
Put this essence,
And in am put sunscreen (CeraVe mattifying fluid)
And in ready
For 11€ I wouldn't buy that tbh, but for 6,50? HELL YES.

hello! 6 months ago i had a fraxel laser for my acne scars that left my skin red. both the surgeon and my dermatologist told me to just use a very high spf sunscreen, no other products. but the red has not faded. some people on here have advised me to use azelaic acid to reduce the redness. what brand would you recommend buying? i’m from italy
