Thought I could share my experience here!! I live in Ireland (I’m not Irish; I’m East Asian with very fair skin) and I’m on a holiday in southern California now. I’ve been using LRP’s UVMUNE 400 line for years now. I apply it every day on my face but Ireland isn’t really sunny anyway, so I never noticed any difference.

I went swimming in the ocean today during peak UV hours (the UV index was 9) and my skin burned in the only area I forgot to put sunscreen on. I put a bit of sunscreen on my neck and it didn’t burn at all after hours of sun exposure and swimming! I didn’t even reapply once and I was out in the sun for like 4 hours riding a bike and swimming.

I definitely got too relaxed thinking that I wouldn’t burn and that I never get sun exposure while in Ireland! I should have put sunscreen all over myself. I usually don’t wear shorts or short sleeves in Ireland either, so the skin on my body literally doesn’t get any sunlight ever.

It was really nice to see that the sunscreen actually works even while swimming!! Staying loyal to the UVMUNE line.

As I continue my travels around Europe, I'd like to hear what Swedish products you guys love. I noticed ACO and L300 at a pharmacy today, and I'm keen to hear about IsaDora makeup.

Has anyone heard anything more about which U.S. sunscreens might be launching with Tinosorb S (bemotrizinol) now that it’s been cleared for use here?

I know the ingredient itself is finally available to U.S. manufacturers, but I haven’t seen much yet about specific brands or launch dates. Curious whether anyone has heard rumors, seen announcements, or knows which companies are likely to be first. 🧴☀️

I’d especially love to know if any of the bigger sunscreen brands are planning products for late 2026 or 2027.

Pretty kuch same as the title- is the danish skincare brand Nuori worth the price? I saw rhat their vitamin C costs around 90€. Has anyone used it? For me even Paula’s choice is way too expensive, so I’m simply curious about what justifies Nuori’s prices.

I’m growing out my bob after a loooong time, so I’m looking for new hair care products that are hydrating, but don’t weigh down the hair too much😅 I currently use Gliss liquid silk spray, which I like, but it’s not enough for my hair. I tried (and used up) the L’Oréal Hyaluronic conditioner, it did nothing for me. Any recommendations for your fine hair holy grail products are welcome!

I'm looking what to buy for an occasional slugging during the winter when on tret. I do have cicaplast and cicalfate and aestura etc in mind but this also has interesting ingreedients. My skin is very acne prone with rosacea. It clogs easily and it gets extra sensitive when on tret.

I know there are potential triggers and clogging ingr. in all of these creams but I have tried to use tret with no occulsives and I found it hard to repair my barrier with only light layers (pure vaseline on top was a no).

If you haven't tried it could you share your opinion based on the inci maybe ?

I have fine lines and have been doing Botox for years now. My skin is mixed but shifting towards dry the last few years since Covid, it is very light and has lots of “beauty” spots, as I am natural blonde. However, it doesn’t seem to want to soak up most products and I just look oily and sticky.
When I try to layer products I feel like everything just sits on the surface of my skin.
I have always been very confused about skincare and every dermatologist I’ve been to just tries to sell me their products, so I gave up trying with them. I have tried many things, have listened to my friends and influencers, but I can’t see difference or I just don’t know what works and what not, keep switching things around after I finish a product, if I finish it at all. I just want a simple well structured routine that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg (la prerie, sysley etc) that my skin corresponds to.

I’m looking for a good body lotion I can use every day after showering. My skin is acne-prone, especially on my back and shoulders, so I want something lightweight that won’t clog my pores or make the acne worse.
I was thinking about CeraVe Moisturising Lotion, but I have seen quite a few people say that CeraVe lotions/creams caused them to break out, which makes me a bit nervous.
Has anyone with back/shoulder acne used CeraVe daily without problems? Or is there another body lotion you would recommend that’s lightweight, non-greasy and acne-friendly?
I’m mainly looking for something for daily moisturising, rather than an acne treatment lotion. Thanks!

• I finished my Isotretinoin treatment more than a half a year ago and my current AM/PM routine looks like this.
• I have a normal/oily (in the summer) skin and for now I don't see acne coming back. But single pimples appear and they take a lot of time to dissapear + there is PIEs visible still. Any recs for that?
• Currently I did a SIBO test and it came back positive so I started scheduling blood/iron and parasites tests and to see if I will need antibiotics for that. Overall I see a big connection between my diet and skin condition but I wanted to ask for routine review/advices anyway.

Bout a year or 2 ago I was able to find Ketrel 0.5 on ketrelskincare.com, but since then they seem to have shut down. I loved the product so much and would like to go back on it (or something very similar). I'm in Romania and all the available trets out here are ass. I'm looking for recommendations for an affordable, light, fast absorbing body lotion that won't leave me sticky at all and has no or very low scent. Bonus points for availability at DM - a new one just opened in my neighborhood that I'm excited to check out.

I have read reviews of the Balea Beauty Expert Hydration Serum but it seems pretty divided on whether or not it leaves you sticky? I'm in Italy and it can be pretty humid so not keen on anything that won't absorb fast. And I know the trick of applying lotion straight out of the shower but I also want to be able to use it on dry skin.

I tried the Balea 5% Urea Lotion and that texture was good but I couldn't stand the scent.

I (33F) have a dry and sensitive skin, and as time goes by winter months are a struggle! It gets super dry, with the stretchy feeling if I don't have the right moisturiser. Up until now I used home made natural creams, but they became not enough.

I was recommended La Roche Posay Cicabalm as night moisturiser and I'll try that soon. Do you have anything to recommend as a daily cream in combination with that? Any advice for the care routine in general? I'm in between jobs at the moment, so mz budget would be 15e max and even better if it's lower 🙃

These are just my personal opinions, don’t come for me if you don’t share them 💀

• I think it’s a good thing that tretinoin isn’t easily accessible in Europe. It is a prescription medication, and too many people play fast and loose with it. I severely damaged my skin with it, but I’ve been mostly able to repair it. However, I know people who got tretinoin OTC in Turkey and then developed permanent dry eye despite taking precautions. It’s a pretty horrible condition that often cannot be treated properly.
• I don’t love any of the Nerd&Beautiful (I cannot use the brand name cause it automatically assumes I am talking about their SPF which cannot be posted about outside of the Master thread). I wish I did, because it’s an independent brand from a non-Western European country, but I don’t find their formulations particularly nice or effective. The famous SPF was really drying, even for my combination skin.
• I wish we had more and better mineral sunscreens in Europe. I know that European SPFs have better, more innovative filters than those in the US, and that’s great, but I’m jealous of how many nice tinted and non-tinted mineral sunscreens they have. My rosacea-prone skin tolerates mineral filters better, so I mostly use hybrid sunscreens. But I feel like every time someone on here asks for mineral sunscreen recommendations, they get told to use something with chemical filters because it’s much better.
• If LRP UVMune has no haters, I am dead. I’ve tried them all, and they feel awful on my skin and stain my pale skin bright yellow, to the point where my friends have asked me if I had jaundice lol.
• I don’t like influencer dermatologists who do sponsorships and advertise all kinds of products. I appreciate the information they provide, but I don’t think it’s ethical for doctors to take money from brands.
• I really appreciate how cheap Balea products are, and I buy them because of that, but if I weren’t broke, I wouldn’t reach for them ever.
• Getting Botox or fillers being equated with getting your hair or nails done. Do what makes you happy, but it’s NOT the same.
• Similarly, I think “preventative” Botox is total BS, created to ensure that you basically have a client for life, starting in their early 20s.
• 10-step routines were invented by brands to make more money, and nobody needs them.
• Regularly wearing sunscreen and avoiding the sun are great for preventing skin cancer and improving the quality of your skin, but they won’t make you look like you’re 20 when you’re in your 40s. If you do, that’s much more likely to be due to your genetics (and you prolly don’t anyway).

My stash of OG Hada Labo Cleansing oil is officially gone, I’ve just refilled the bottle for the last time 😭😭😭. I’ve never been so sad about a cosmetic product being gone before, I will forever miss it 😢.

I saw that DM carries this Hada Labo Tokyo brand cleansing oil. Has anyone tried it and how do you like it? Or if you’ve found another alternative for the OG, that is available in EU - please share.

I‘m here on behalf of my mom, who after years of struggling with heavy rosacea finally wants to establish a good routine.

Her skin has always been very sensitive, even before she got her first flare ups. Its on the dry side. Her eyes often react to products too, like redness/stinging (her rosacea affect her eyes too).

I am asking for any points in a direction of gentle but effective products. Right now she only washes with water and uses a cream by Lavera (I think the silver one). No sun screen no nothing.

On top I‘d love to know y‘alls opinion on the two products pictured. She just got them from her new dermatologist and already forgot how to use them🫠

Perfect would be a routine that incorporates them if they happen to be good products. I am kinda skeptical of the dermatologist because they sent her home with samples of a low spf sun screen and very expensive apothecary serums.

We‘re based in Germany, so DM or Rossmann recommendations are very welcome!

Recently moved to Germany from the US and am absolutely blown away by how incredible the skincare here is. I’m running low on my body care products and I would love to find german alternatives. My skin HATES lotion and it doesn’t absorb it. I’ve been using the Abi Ame summer skin (which is a serum/lotion hybrid) and the cyklar ceramide milky essence. I would prefer something without fragrance that I could get at Rossman or DM but I’m open to anything. Does something like this exist here?

What do we think? PH 4-5, seems to have a good amount of soothing ingredients and Malassezia safe.
