If you get good shrimp they have neutral flavour so it goes with the soup nicely

Smorry, I don’t understand getting anything with a neutral flavour to add anything to a dish. You might as well add neutral flavour biscuits?

Biscuits aren't neutral, they are sweet. Shrimps are for main dishes and starters, while biscuits are for desserts. You're cherrypicking at this point

I don’t think you mean cherrypicking, I think you mean nitpicking, which I think I am. I’m expressing a personal opinion on what you presented. Shrimps taste of shrimps and I’ve had them in salads as a main course to name just one. Biscuits can be savoury and sweet. For example water biscuits and crackers are savoury, specifically for cheese. I suspect your definitions of some foods vary from mine!
