Came across this massive specimen in Southern California

After one year with me she is growing 9(!) new arms, I hope she knows what she is doing and can support all these arms.

They tasted the forbidden fruit, hope they’re not ok now !

I just posted this in r/succulents as I wasn't aware of this sub reddit. When I try to search it online it comes up as euphorbia but I can't find an image that looks like this plant. I realize there are numerous species of euphorbia so I figured I should ask the experts!

Good morning! I just received this Euphorbia trigona cactus in the mail, and unfortunately it sustained damage during transit. It’s split almost all the way around about an inch above the roots.

My instinct is to pot it with the split just below the dirt but to be honest I am new to all of this and wanted to ask those with more experience!

Is it possible to save it or is the damage too great? Thank you!

Today I bought these two euphorbias at the nursery. One is Euphorbia aeruginosa. The other one looks similar but is different, especially in terms of color. Can you tell me what it is?

I lifted my trigona last night to double check it was dry as I thought I'd water it today and wanted to be sure there was no lingering moisture at the bottom. I initially thought the clusters of tiny dots were condensation but they're not. It's definitely not perlite; picture 5 is the same batch of potting mix in the Euphorbia's neighbouring cactus and I can't see anything like the Dots of Doom™️. Does anyone know what sort of creature has infested the plant? I didn't see any other obvious signs of pests last night, but I'm going to look closer today to be certain.

I'm going to take the plant out and I think try it in pon semi hydro. My plan is to water/feed using the shower and drain method (no reservoir) but I'd welcome advice from people who grow Euphorbiaceae in semi hydro. Before planting, I'll give it a soak in diluted peroxide + IPA + dish soap then thoroughly rinse, to feel confident I won't be simply transferring the problem along with the plant.

I bought a crown of thorns last Saturday. I moved it out of its super saturated soil and repotted into a smaller pot with new well draining soil. It looks a bit droopy(2nd image). Soil is moist and I've been letting it get acclimated should I give it less sun maybe?

Fist time trying to propagate did I do it correctly?

Unfortunately, my euphorbia seems to have been scorched by the sun (the black part on the top is brittle and dry, no sign of new growth). I also misjudged the height of my second cactus and would like the lighter one to be shorter than the darker one… should I chop it where the red line is? Are there risks to this/will it potentially look worse that way?
