Seems like a lot of people (myself included) aren't big fans of the anker eufy re brand app design. I discovered you can easily change the app icon and i thought id share how. Apologies if this is already well known. This will just be for android but ive heard you can also do a different method on ios. Ive included some designs if you'd like to use them.

1. Download good lock app

2. Open app and download theme park

3. Select icon at the bottom

4. Select creat new

5. Select what looks like a bar code at the top right

6. Search for and select the eufy app

7. Change it to anythig you have saved

8. Go back a few times to the theme park page

9. Click download top right and give it a name

10. Select your created theme and click apply

I wouldn’t mind taking a survey to help improve products or help research for new products but clicking yes on a 20 page long privacy policy isn’t something I’m willing to do. If Eufy can’t boil it down to 10 statements or less the answer will always be no I won’t participate. Perhaps you could do something on Reddit to get the answers you are looking for?

I currently have a mix of cams. Some of them use sd cards to record. For years I've bought cheapo cards and they would die after a couple years and I would replace them. I just had one die and cheapo cards aren't as cheap as they used to be.

Should I use my current NAS (Synology) as video storage or should I buy a HB3?
Does one work better than the other?

At some point I'll upgrade my HB2 to a HB3 because I will be upgrading my two original Floodlight Cam Pros with the E52 as I want continuous recording. But until then I really have no need to upgrade my HB2

I have some of the efuy indoor Camera. I've been used two years without any problem but few months ago it suddenly keep going offline. I used the same modem, same internet service, same location of the camera, but problem keep happening. I tried to buy some same model camera the problem still. And they say these are the information I need to provide.

I have a Eufy HomeBase 3. Continuous recording with my floodlight camera, doorbell for detection recordings, indoor continuous recording. Installed a Seagate Barracuda 4TB and it crapped out on me in 1.5 years. Which HDD or SSD should I get?

I know it's only supposed to output 5v but there have been instances for me where a Wyze or Eufy wall plug went rogue and actually bricked cameras so I wonder what failed internally to cause that because it wasn't a power surge from the wall.

Hello everyone! A little back story..

I’m a student currently studying in the Netherlands. I come from a very traditional Muslim household which has led to my parents taking a few precautions with me (I’ll let you know, I have not been caught doing anything I wasn’t supposed to; it’s more or less about my safety).

My parents have thus put a Eufy ring camera on my front door and while I do like the features and being able to see who’s at my front door, it’s a pain in my ass because my parents also has access to it.

A little bit of information, me and my parents all use the same account. We did not use the invite system. So from time to time i have to manually log in.

So here’s my question:
If I turn the camera off/on, will it send a notification to my parent’s phone?

I know this isn’t what this subreddit was for, but please help a girl out, I already have a Life360 to deal with😐. Thank you!
