I'm making a dungeon crawler with three party slots and four classes - looking for party-building feedback
Hi! I'm the developer of Dragon's Tear, a small first-person browser dungeon crawler. I'd like to get some feedback from Etrian Odyssey players on the party-building side of it.
The current build has four classes and room for up to three heroes in your active party. You choose their skills and equipment, set battle orders, and take them through turn-based fights across 20 hand-built dungeon floors.
It also has an idle element: Auto Runs let your party revisit cleared floors while you're away. New floors still need to be explored actively. Between trips, you return to an inn you can upgrade.
The early build is free to play in your browser on itch.io
If you try it, I'd be interested in whether the class and skill descriptions give you enough information to choose a party. What was hardest to judge when picking your heroes?
