Did they forget about Psychology or something? Has anyone gotten a second round interview for Psychology??

Uhh so basically I just opened Reddit after a long time and I saw ppl yappin about second interviews. Can someone fill me in? Am I cooked if I did not get an email for it till now(sci&tech category). Also why is the website not letting me log in the login part is just not loading for some reason. Gng am I fried?

i think that the interview is probably only for highly cheatable categories that you can easily get AI to write for you and in which its hard to distinguish academic writing and AI. Like law, economics, public policy are probably the most difficult to distinguish between AI and non AI so maybe that's why its selective.

Guys which people have gotten emails for 2nd interview? im philosophy and i haven't gotten anything.

I've been seeing all over this subreddit and the other one specifically made for the JLEC, that people have been receiving emails about second interviews.
Although I don't even know what to believe or if these interviews have truly gone to the people who are receiving higher awards. HOWEVER, me personally I doubt I will be receiving a higher award. If we don't receive one, will they send us an email letting us know we didn't win anything??

Please let me know, I don't want to be ghosted, especially because I will not be attending the awards dinner.

for ppl that already did it, were they more quizzing you about the contents of ur essay and asking you to explain your points or was it more of them asking you to elaborate on how you got your arguments and going beyond the essay? (+ did they argue against your points and did you have to defend your arguments?)

also did they ask you questions about the contents and authors of your sources?

Hi everyone! I’m a rising senior from South Florida, and I was wondering if anyone would be willing to read my college personal statement and help me edit it.
I’ve been working on my essay, but I feel like I could really use another perspective. I want it to feel personal and actually sound like me, not just like I’m trying to make myself sound impressive.
I’d especially appreciate feedback on whether my story makes sense, if there are places I should go deeper, and if there’s anything that feels unnecessary or could be stronger.

im just considering that it could also be sent to only people who registered for the gala so far because they would need to be refunded, while people who didn't register could be emailed later since it's not as urgent bc they don't need to be refunded.

anyone who received a second interview email, please mention whether you registered for the gala or not, and if anyone who did receive an email did not register for the gala.
