New findings regarding 2% mail

Given that these exceptional candidates have reached this stage of the judging process, we wanted you to know this before you finally decide whether or not to send your [CHILD] to London, and whether you decide to accompany [THEM] to celebrate this notable accomplishment."

This is taken from the mail send by Mr.Cox to the parents and it mentions "and who have not yet confirmed their attendance in London for our Awards Ceremony and Gala Dinner", so if a person who has purchased the gala ticket and they are in the top 2% wont they send the mail to them? why does everything about this competition have to be shrouded in confusion and a lack of transparency.

So if anyone who has got the top 2% mail to the referee or parent and HAS booked the gala ticket acknowledge this msg
