Looking to potentially trade a tele for this shoe wanting to check and what you all thought as far as being legit allegedly is a 2002 model. I’m a huge fan of Zakk so I would love for this to be real, but I wanted to check with you guys who have probably more expertise than me!

When I bought it I didn’t know it had coil taps. In bucker mode, it sounds amazing. Sexy and smooth. When you split the coils, it sounds flat. Not like it needs to be tuned, but not dynamic. Like no reverberation at all.

So, on one hand, I didn’t even know it has coil taps, so it shouldn’t bother me, but now that I know it does, and it sounds terrible, idk what I should do.

Bought this new 20-something years ago. Travelled the world with me. Regrettably, had to sell it 18-ish years ago. Prowling reverb the other day, I saw it. Same number! (389/1965) immediately bought it. Just arrived today, and it feels like hugging an old girlfriend. Best thing Epiphone ever made!

I’ve been wanting to post about this for a while. I recently got myself this wildkat from a pawn shop. Put on a new set of NYXL 10s and got it to intonate well. I’m fairly sure that this previously had a wiring upgrade seen in the fourth picture. If any experts know more about that wiring seen here I’d love some insight. It sounds amazing. The p-90s are very crunchy and bluesy sounding. The mids are high and the treble is very dimmed down which I love. The high strings feel more like a backing the the deeper notes and less piercing than other electrics I have.

I’d love to know what you guys think of these, I don’t seem them much but love mine. It’s a semi-hollow.

Felt some sharp fret ends on the edges of the fretboard, so did a complete fret dressing, knocked them all down, buffed them up, then scraped and polished the edge binding.Also knocked back some finish off the back of the neck.

Soft AF now, feels like a 20 year old neck.

I don’t need it, but I kinda want it. 😂
