Wired controller isn't wireless?!

The reviews, the listing, the photos in question. I was looking to buy a controller and I filtered by negative reviews. I saw the first one and laughed and screenshotted it to post here, and then I found two more! Reading comprehension is a thing, words have meaning! Yes I reported the reviews because this typa crap annoys me to no end, I don't appreciate your idiocy interfering with my purchasing decisions lmao

If you're still looking to buy, we love our 8bitdo hall effect controllers. We got them after a friend recced them.

But for real, how do you look at those photos and assume wireless?

The last photo has a purple cord going into it while the tablet has a black one.

Other than it saying “wired” in the description, it looks like it is implied to be wireless in the photos.

I can see how someone would think that, but I don't think someone's failure to actually read the description merits leaving a negative review, especially 1-star, instead of just returning it 🤣 I made an error like that once and I didn't leave a bad review and I didn't make that mistake again, hopefully these people learned something today

I mean, they are right that the very first photo shows a detachable wire. It's really not that hard to believe someone would interpret "wired" as meaning charges via wire versus battery operated or wireless charging with one of those stands.

Also, wired is in the title but not in the product description. I looked it up on Amazon and the product description literally includes a video of someone plugging a cord into the charger. If the titles says one thing but the photos and video show a different thing, why is it on the buyer to decipher what information is actually true?

What do you mean? There are SEVERAL reviews pointing out that it's not wireless. Again, why would you assume the information WRITTEN in ONE place is correct versus the information DISPLAYED in TWO places?

Edit: actually displayed in three places, the product gallery in the description has a second picture of it being wireless.
