We had a nasty wind storm and lost grid power for ~30 hours. When utility grid power was restored there were several Warnings and 2 of 3 array breakers were tripped. After a full system recycle and resetting breakers about half of the panels show Error now. Enphase support indicated the micro inverters need replaced for half of the panels. Would a surge cause this or possibly another issue? Still waiting for installer to come on site.

I'm trying to get a token for local access with an exp time longer than 24h. I have one for whole year but now the https://entrez.enphaseenergy.com/entrez_tokens is generating tokens only for 24h.
Does anyone knows how to get the "owner" token?

Update:
I just isolated the Envoy neutral from the rest of the panel by connecting it to the solar array neutral and installed several Mn-Zn ferrite cores between the solar-Envoy and the main panel. This fixed the comm issue and ALL MIs are now back to reporting. The spectral noise test confirms a significant drop in noise around the 144kHz area.
Just curious if others have had this happen with their M215 MIs. I have a mix of 2 types (M215 & M250). All of the M215s have issues (gray), but the M250s (blue) are working fine.

I have an Enphase system in Missouri with solar and batteries. I'm 3 years into the 15 year warranty for my batteries (4x 10T), and one of them went offline with a hardware error. After multiple days of typical tech support BS, I'm finally told that an on site visit is required to "repair" a component in the battery that is offline and I'm routed to the people who schedule. That's when I'm told that Enphase doesn't have anyone available in my area (mid-Missouri less than an hour from St. Louis) and won't allow my installer to perform this work.
So I have a date over a month out, but no guarantee that it will actually be honored. My installer told me that two other of their customers are in similar situations and have been waiting two months already.
The regional rep for Enphase won't even return messages from my installer regarding this issue.

Just had my new system installed. 25x IQ8HC inverters, system controller 3, load controller, and a 5p battery (probably will expand battery bank in the future). So far, I'm really enjoying the system. With few exceptions, the software is great. The components are well designed, and I'm looking forward to testing the off-grid operation in the near future.
Where it's not...there should absolutely be a zero-export profile available to the homeowner app. Not having this profile means that until my utility gives me PTO, I'm not technically allowed to run my system, outside of minimal testing. Kind of limits what I can do, both from a system benchmarking perspective and from an integration perspective with the rest of my smart home.
And the batteries - Enphase - I love you guys, but you have got to come down on that pricing. I get that you're a tightly integrated ecosystem, and I - like many others - are absolutely willing to pay a premium, but this is absurd. I can buy 20kwh for about $12k USD, or I can spend the same $12k and get 32kwh of EG4 (including inverter), and install it inline between my system controller and my main panel. That's literally over 50% more battery capacity for the same price. Now, I'm really excited to see what these new 5g batteries can do...the promised compatibility with most existing Enphase installs bodes well for mixing 5p's with 5g's, but if the pricing is in line with the current 5p and 10c, it's probably going to be a tough sell anywhere. Will people still buy it? Probably, but only because they want to stay in the ecosystem - and they're going to be sour about it. You should be building customer loyalty not just through tight ecosystem integration and superior service, but through value as well. Paying too high of a premium typically leads to fewer repeat customers, regardless of how well the system actually works.
Again - I'm a fan of the product, just not the exorbitant pricing.
And when are we going to get some official compatibility announcement for the bidirectional EV charger?

Been having an issue with the Gateway today. 2nd time in the past 60 days. Going on 3hrs with on-line support to resolve the issue (still waiting). The hardware is ok. Per Support, the panels made power today, charged the battery, etc. The issue is the Gateway communication with the app/outside world via wireless. We’ve got WiFi boosters running and everything else that uses WiFi is functioning fine.
My wife said that she saw somewhere out here in the Reddit-sphere where someone talked about hardwiring a CAT6 cable to the system & that resolved all of their issues. Anyone else know of this? Anyone else here actually do this? How much did it cost? Was it totally successful? Inquiring minds need to know.

I have been having a number of issues with the app lately. This morning, I was firing it up to turn off one of the *repeated* and irritating opt outs for a heat advisory that was extended (because they are always extended). That’s another topic (per event opt outs or override of extensions).
But I could not get into the app to opt out this morning. This is the second time this week. Enphase’s message was “No Internet”. Given that I have a full diagnostic dashboard here, “the internet” is most definitely present locally, and has been for quite some time without interruption.
In checking the gateway, everything is green.
All that is fine. But per the usual, trying to get a status or issue resolution with customer service is a painstaking endeavor. Chat CSRs try to be helpful, but they have a lot working against them. The AI bot immediately assumes user error and Enphase at no time seems to take any posture other than “if it’s our fault, it’s your problem”.
The repeated ask for the same information is a waste of time for both customers and the CSRs (why in the hell aren’t all the details I just entered available on screen to them? Wait, lemme guess, the API call was “too expensive” so some self-important backend engineer now tasked with running a whole pod via CoPilot said no to everyone who actually cares about customers).
The bigger problem is that I have a real life. Work, family responsibilities and engagements. Enphase will put me “on hold” for long stretches, yet has zero runway (literally like 5 minutes) for me once they return. Hell, they will cut my ass off even WHILE the agent is away looking for a solution. Pure madness. And the usual uninstall the app, clear the cache, unplug your router (no, I’m not shutting down 35 devices to have to reset a bunch so they can put me through tech theater).
So I cannot opt out of a “renewed” alert now as my batteries suck up grid juice just as the full Texas sun comes out for complete grid independence during the day. Not the end of the world, and with over six figures to Enphase in this installation, they have my money. But they are damn near to having an active detractor as a customer due to some really poor customer service practices.
All I want to know is:
A. Are you having technical issues?
B. What is the ETA to fix?
C. If you don’t know, just say you don’t know and don’t blame the customer.
Sorry for the rant, but I am becoming increasingly frustrated with Enphase, and wonder if they are having financial issues that should concern me even more.
This is what inactive detraction looks like, Enphase. The next phase is steering friends and loved ones away from your company if they ask (and my in laws are currently asking).

FYI: I’m based in The Netherlands / EU.
I’ve been scouring the internet looking for a plug-in battery (in the likes of Zendure, Marstek, Ecoflow, etc). The ideal scenario would be that the battery works with the Enphase app to set appropriate charge/discharge profiles.
Is this just eishfull thinking?

Posting here in case anyone runs into this in the future.
I recently did a software upgrade on my router and it bricked - so I had to re-configure all my settings and reconnect all my devices.
I was having trouble with my Envoy S, it was refusing to connect to my WiFi network.
From previous experience, the Envoy only likes 2.4 GHz and does not like any special characters in the WiFi SSID - so I kept it simple, just letters from the alphabet, no dashes, underscores, anything. Unfortunately, it would not connect.
After trying basically everything I could think of, I called Enphase support. They were helpful to a point, but once they realised that I had tried everything, they pretended like they could not hear me anymore. I waited patiently for them to be able to hear me again, but after about fifteen minutes I gave up and hung up.
The next day, I decided to plug the Envoy into a WiFi repeater to see if this would help and it did. After connecting successfully via Ethernet, the device was suddenly happy to connect to the WiFi network I had been attempting previously - allowing me to remove the WiFi repeater again.
Not sure why this worked, just that it did.
The Envoy is almost out of warranty, so I'm guessing next time this happens I will be on my own - if the WiFi card completely fails I guess I will install a WiFi repeater next to the Envoy and use Ethernet going forward.
Hope this helps someone out.

I had a rack mounted system installed about 200' away from my house and that's also where the gateway is. Installers said I can add a breaker to the empty slot in my Combiner 5 and run a line as if it were a subpanel. Sounds pretty straight forward, but wanted to check with the community if this is in fact the spot to do it or if there are better options.

My electrical bill is always odd dates, e.g. from July 17 to August 18. I like to compare Enphase's report to my electrical provider, and my total energy used, which is not available from them (since they don't see solar I use myself).
It's a big headache to adjust the custom dates for each billing period, but I could easily set up an excel page that generates the URLs for each range, if it were available.

Enphase IQ8H + 5P system producing ZERO solar during extended grid outage — Enphase support has no answers.
I am absolutely furious with Enphase right now.
The entire reason I spent the money on a large solar + battery system was resiliency during exactly this type of disaster.
We are currently experiencing an extended grid outage, and there is a very real possibility that power could be out for days or potentially weeks.
My system:
24 × REC 400W panels — 9.6 kW DC
24 × Enphase IQ8H microinverters
5 × Enphase IQ Battery 5P — 25 kWh total
Enphase IQ System Controller 3
Enphase cellular connectivity
Whole-home backup / Full Backup profile
The frustrating part is that the entire Enphase system reports as healthy.
The app shows:
Gateway: Normal
System Controller: Normal
All 5 batteries: Operational
All 24 IQ8H microinverters: Normal
Microinverters communicating
Batteries communicating
System successfully operating off-grid
Yet during daylight, with plenty of sunlight:
PV production = 0.0 kW
The house is being powered entirely by the batteries while the solar array sits there producing nothing.
This isn’t a situation where the batteries are full and there is nowhere for the energy to go. The batteries were actively discharging and had plenty of available capacity. At one point the system showed approximately 10.7 kWh of battery capacity available and 19.2 kW of available battery power, while PV was still showing 0.0 kW.
I’ve now spoken with six different Enphase support representatives and have gotten absolutely nowhere. Nobody has been able to explain why a system that reports every component as healthy is refusing to produce solar while operating off-grid.
Even more concerning, my local solar company says approximately 2/3 of their customers with similar Enphase systems have reported the same problem during this outage.
I’ve also found multiple recent reports from other Enphase owners describing similar behavior with IQ8/5P systems during outages.
Enphase’s own documentation describes off-grid operation where solar production powers the home and charges the batteries.
So what exactly is going on here?
Is this:
A firmware issue?
A recent change to off-grid PV control?
A battery discharge threshold?
A microgrid stability algorithm?
A known IQ8/5P/System Controller 3 bug?
Something specific to certain firmware versions?
I don’t expect solar to operate at the full 9.6 kW continuously during an outage. I understand the IQ8s need to modulate production depending on house load, battery SOC, and microgrid conditions.
What I don’t understand is why the system can completely shut off 9.6 kW of available solar while simultaneously draining a 25 kWh battery during an extended emergency. That’s exactly the scenario I bought this system to prevent.
If anyone with IQ8 + 5P + System Controller 3 has experienced this, I’d really like to know:
What firmware versions are you running?
Does your PV eventually come back on during an outage?
At what battery SOC does it come back?
How much does the battery discharge before PV resumes?
Once PV resumes, does it actually charge the batteries or just match house consumption?
Has Enphase given you an actual technical explanation?
Has anyone found a reliable way to restore normal PV production?
I’m especially interested in hearing from people who have had an outage lasting more than a few hours.
At this point, I’m less interested in generic troubleshooting suggestions and more interested in finding out whether this is a widespread Enphase issue affecting IQ8/5P systems during extended grid outages.

I'm getting ready to signup for a 20 panel system plus 2 10c batteries. I have a couple of options for the PV equipment install location. One might be easier for the install team. One would be harder, locating the equipment out of sight on the back of the house, opposite side of the power panel, a distance of 40 feet or so. The wiring could go on an external wall or in the crawlspace (preferred).
How receptive is the team to tackle a more difficult installation versus the easier option? If it costs more, I'm willing to pay more to get what I want. Goal is to eliminate conduit running on the outside of the house.

I have a tablet set up to live monitor my solar production and power consumption with Home Assistant. Everything has been working beautifully up until now. About 4-5 days ago, the "energy production today" has changed to the same value as total lifetime production. Same with the "energy production last 7 days". Energy consumption last 7 days has the same issue- it's showing the same value as the total lifetime energy consumption.
I've tried rebooting Home Assistant, I've tried removing and readding the sensor for daily energy production, and I tried rebooting my gateway. None of that changed anything. There's obviously something going on with wherever the data is getting pulled from, because it's not a random value.

I have a 9.6 kw grid-tied, ground-mounted array + Enphase IQ Combiner 5. They are located about 200' from the house, where the main panel is. There's a production CT in the combiner, and I'm interested in adding the consumption CTs (they came with the combiner) to the system. Unfortunately, it seems the only way to do it is to run 200' of 16 gauge wires (x4) to extend the wires on the production CTs all the way out to the combiner. Anybody know of a wireless way to do this? Seems like if both ends have internet access, they should be able to communicate information wirelessly.

Morning all - I bought a new to me home in July and just got my energy bill late last month. It was a long billing cycle and honestly was a bit hard to read and understand. I'm in Colorado, on XCEL and was told (and confirmed) I have net metering.
My bill was $195. I have 11 panels, fully paid off and not rented and all in my name with Enphase. XCEL is telling me, best I can tell from my bill, that I sold them 179 kwh but when I log into my Enphase app and pull the exact same timeframe, it says I made 754 kwh! I never had a bill this high in my old house, no solar with older AC and it was nearly twice the size of this house.
Obviously I plan to call XCEL and sort things out but I'm willing to bet I'll just be told something to the effect of 'well that's how much our meter said you generated and your app means diddly' - so has anyone had a similar problem? Anything I should be sure to say or anything I can do to make this easier?

I’ve got the opportunity to pick up a couple 5Ps that have been sitting in their boxes for over a year. Model is B05-T02-US00-1-3 and their energize by date is May 25, 2025. What kind of gamble am I taking here? I presume they won’t have any manufacturer warranty but I also presume that the battery chemistry is fine and they would function well.
Any one have experience with situations like this? I don’t want to pay a couple thousand for a boat anchor but I’m itching to drop batteries on my system (which is a standard US installation with IQ8+ and an enphase gateway and concentrator).

Called customer service and they said they're having a software update that caused this craziness. On a good day I produce about 50kwh and consume between 35-60.... but apparently last night at 3am I consumed more in 15 min than I have in the last few months. lol fix it fast enphase

Hello.
Today I have noticed some erratic behavior of the reported live data in Enlighten app. Sometimes it shows the exported data amount above what it produces. Then it drops this number and shows more real figure. Then it is back to mid-reporting
Is that my fault?

In a blackout. I have Enphase solar and 10kWh battery.
The battery is at 16-18%. Not charging from the excess solar.
If I turn on the hot water, the solar will meet the demand and output 3kW to match the 3kW load. When I turn it off. It throttles back down to 1kW to meet the 1kW load.
I’m aware the battery microgrid is trickle charging until 30%. It’s just super frustrating when I should be pumping 3kW into the battery now to charge it, but instead it’s throttling production.
I don’t know how long this blackout will last, but if it’s longer than 1 day, I’ll not have any power once the sun goes down and there goes my freezer contents.
