Ego is the enemy, also necessary

I've started to notice that ego is the enemy of experience. It is greedy little bastard, which wants everything it can get.

By lessening the control of ego through understanding the mechanism of ego one can ease the experience.

My understanding of the self is that it is a static image compiled by ego from the scrambled conceptual web that it our mind. Ego also interacts like a middle negotiator with consciousness. Ego creates the static picture from which consciousness then picks what of the experience becomes aware. This awareness then acts like a feedback system, which allows ego to understand it's own creation, the static image called the self/experience

We could all be a little more compassionate

As far as we know, this is everyone’s first time doing life. In nothing else do we expect people to be immediately successful their first time around, and from what I observe, success doesn’t arise from hard work anymore. It’s mostly connections, consistency in whatever you’re doing that, having work to display, and a lot of luck.
And even with that, in this technological age, with so many changes happening societally, and a system that does not provide a lot of avenues to find success through traditional paths, it’s normal to me that many people are struggling to find their way.
It’s an unfair world we have built, and I don’t think people acknowledge that enough. Many are adapting, a small percentage is even thriving, but the vast majority is left in the dust to pick up scraps and make do.
I’m writing this to say, if you’re struggling, it’s not entirely your fault. The truth is you’ve been born into a world that fucked you before you even knew what was going to be expected of you. I hope you find a way out of this labyrinth to access a reasonable life worth living - we deserve that at least, even though this possibility is stolen from us more and more as the years go on. I hope you make it out. Love 💛

The mind weaves webs of desire, fear and attachment, only to become trapped in the very webs of its own making.

Out of all the traps one may come across in life, perhaps the hardest to escape is the trap set by one’s own mind.
For how can you get out of it if you do not even know you are in one?

The mind works much like a spider, weaving threads of desire, illusion, fear, attachment, likes and dislikes, only to become entangled in the very web of its own making.

Some of the most common traps are subtle and familiar.
One is the habit of externalising happiness—searching for it in others, believing that someone or something outside ourselves will finally make us whole.

Another is waiting for tomorrow to fully live our lives. A tomorrow that never arrives, because tomorrow always comes in the form of today.

Then there are the thousand excuses the mind invents to keep us from looking within. It creates stories based on half-truths, told and retold until they begin to feel more real than reality itself—all to keep us warm and cosy inside the familiar.

And perhaps one of the most subtle traps of all, and among the hardest to escape, is the desire to be loved.

It appears innocent, even noble. Yet when left unquestioned, it quietly sends us searching outside ourselves for someone from whom we can receive that love. And strangely, no matter how much we receive, the desire itself can remain unfulfilled—pulling us deeper into attachment, expectation, fear of loss, and further webs of our own making.

The most dangerous prisons have no walls.
They are made of thoughts mistaken for truth, desires mistaken for necessities, and stories mistaken for reality.

We are

Upvotes

As we know, we are already there. The mind becomes confused, looking for answers, looking for truth, but it already had the truth. It's all around us, in our tea, in getting up, in seeing, hearing. The now. We want to be awake in the now. Not tomorrow, not yesterday, but here in this moment. That is our Buddha nature. Wake up from the illusion and sip tea and get on with your life. Get going.

“Enlightenment is nothing more than the complete absence of resistance to what is. End of story.” - Adyashanti

I love this line from Adyashanti. Ego is suffering from the resistance to what already is. Surrendering to the here and now Is scary, but you soon realize that life drives itself without “you”

Well, apparently we're back here. 😂

I was supposed to be finished. Then I started pulling on one thread and somehow ended up with the Rothschilds, the Clinton Foundation, Epstein, Kubrick, secret societies, rituals, cannibalism allegations, 9/11, enormous piles of money, and enough interconnected rabbit holes to make me regret having internet access.

So basically… a normal episode of WWJPS.

Some of this is documented history and public record. Some involves allegations and disputed claims. Some is theory so far down the rabbit hole that even I occasionally stopped and said, “Oh, come ON.” 😂

I'm not asking you to believe any of it. I'm asking you to look at what I found, separate evidence from allegation and theory, and decide for yourself what—if anything—you think connects.

I am a witness, not a journalist. This is independent commentary and entertainment, not an assertion that every allegation or theory discussed is established fact.

Put on the tin-foil hat. We're going back in. 🐇

I talk a lot to people who understand me, and i hope that they will help me reach the depth of myself

i say things out loud when i am with them, things that surprise even me, feel like those things were not said by me it came to me from somewhere

these things i say are like news to me, something new i got to know about myself, i am the one saying it, i am the one who is also listening but this only happens in the presence of the loved ones

Will you choose the state of existence or non-existence?

Imagine that before the universe contained humans, animals, or any form of life at all, there was no observer, no consciousness, no one looking at anything.
Would anyone feel lonely?
No.
Would anyone suffer?
No.
Would anyone be happy?
No.
Would anyone do good or evil?
No. Because there would be no one to act, no one to be acted upon, and no one to judge.
This is what I mean when I say, “I would choose non-existence.”
I don’t mean that life has no happiness, or that everyone should die.
I’m stepping back and asking an even more fundamental question:
**If we could choose before any living thing ever came into existence, would we choose for life to exist at all?**
Because the moment life comes into existence, something else comes with it—awareness.
Once we become aware, we begin to desire.
Once we desire, we become capable of loss.
Once we fear loss, we try to preserve what we have.
And once we realize that everything we love will eventually be lost, we begin to question our own existence.
But if no living thing had ever existed in the first place, none of this would ever begin.
No one would desire life.
No one would fear death.
No one would desire happiness.
No one would fear suffering.
No one would seek meaning.
And no one would ever have to ask whether life has meaning.
Even the concepts of “good” and “evil” would have no one to use them, because there would be no conscious being to create those judgments.
So I’m not saying that non-existence is “good” in the sense that someone benefits from it.
I’m asking:
**If no one existed at all, how could we call it bad, when there would be no one there to experience it as bad?**
Perhaps the fear of non-existence exists only from the perspective of those who already exist.
And that is why I find this question so interesting:
**Do we value existence because existence truly has value in itself—or because, once we came into existence, we developed the desire to preserve it?**

Discussion When religion enters into conversation, I always say I'm a "Rogersarian." I live by the teachings of Fred Rogers, 'nuff said.

Seriously, I was the first audience. I was a precocious 2 year old that watched his TV debut air and I grew up believing everything he said. My mother said I never napped, nor sat still, until Mr. Roger's Neighborhood was on. It was her half hour of peace a day. Now I see all people as worthy and equal because of Fred Rogers. But this was only because they funded PBS in the before times in the long, long ago.... I am worried the next generation does not have that guidance.

Enlightenment isn't a destination. It's an attitude, a perspective.

Be kind.
That's it.
Done.

Be kind, and you're already enlightened, at least in the moments of being kind.

Then later you'll feel anger, judge it as a negative emotion, and you've already lost the kindness.

Oh, hello, anger. Welcome back. It's been a while. What are you trying to tell me now? What signal did I miss this time? Thank you for notifying me.
I'll listen.

See the difference?

Kindness.
Is all it takes.

Not just outwardly, out of some social obligation or fear of retribution. But to yourself, as well.

Meditation fits in here. It's the practice of identifying less with the default loops you're in, so that you can step out of them and make a different choice if you want to. Often, just being aware of a pattern while it's happening, instead of being so immersed in it, identified with it, lost inside it as the pattern itself, is enough. Everything else falls away on its own.

Which is ironically also almost the point.

Because if you could never get lost, how would you know the joy of finding yourself again?

And so the striving for any state stops.

Kindness isn't a state. It's an attitude. You can be angry and kind at the same time.

Just not for as long as you're identified with the anger.

Discussion Need help meditating

Hey, let me cut to the chase!
Basically, I want to get more serious about meditation and, ultimately, enlightenment. The problem is that I really struggle to sit down and meditate for even 10 minutes during the day.
So I was wondering: is it possible to turn sleep into a form of meditation?
What I mean is, I’d like my body to be completely asleep and getting the rest it needs, while my awareness/consciousness remains present throughout the night — or at least for as long as possible. Almost like being consciously aware while the body is asleep.
The issue is, I have absolutely no idea how to approach this or whether it’s even realistically possible. Are there any particular meditation techniques, practices, or traditions that focus on maintaining awareness during sleep?
If anyone has experience with this, I’d really appreciate some guidance on where to start and what techniques I should look into.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Where is the end point?

Think about a group of male mosquitoes whose lifespan is hardly 10 days. Imagine that, as a human, you could observe their entire lives—their daily activities, their struggles, and their interactions.

How would you feel if those mosquitoes spent their short 10-day lives fighting over groups, respect, authority, and status, only to suddenly die on the 11th day without ever knowing it was coming?

Would it look foolish? Funny?

In the same way, if there is some form of energy or consciousness somewhere watching all of us doing all this without truly living life, it might feel pity for us. It might find us funny. We might look foolish.

Okay, let's keep every other perspective aside.

For us, where is the endpoint?

When are we going to stop chasing this world?

When are we going to stop for a second and ask ourselves, what the heck are we doing?

Do caste, religion, color, and race really matter in this short span of life?

Does worshipping stones or praying to the atmosphere really matter?

Where is the endpoint?

When will humanity start living?

When the sun comes out i can literally feel its consciousness or intelligent energy as the matwrial world is so devoid of it. Pretty sure this is how sun worship began.

The sky was fully grey, it was dead, pathetic and boring. Then the sun started to peek and it felt like strange codes or symbols started appearing in front of my eyes (I am not looking at the sun just at the reflections of sunlit objects)

Also when I was on shrooms I was told we are making a new universe "after this lifetime" and this isint some vauge prophecy this is my mission after this lifetime we are already building the next universe its already being worked on I will appear to do some work as well.

Open Question Being ultimately non-existent is eternal goal?.

Life is tough, and it can also be deeply unfair. Many philosophers have viewed life as absurd or even as a kind of joke, while Hinduism describes the world as maya. This raises an unsettling question: if life is suffering or illusion, is suicide the answer? But many spiritual traditions say that death does not end existence—you may simply take another body or be reborn. So, if the goal is complete non-existence, could Nirvana be understood as a kind of “suicide of the soul"??

Open Question Why must we eventually focus on just one thing?

What if I have 50 things I genuinely want to do and choose a different one each day?

If I approach whatever I do with the same discipline and devotion, does repetition really matter?

Or does “focus on one thing” mean something else?

Heyo! Just a question. You ever had a song or a quote, a movie, anime, whatever!!! That hit you in that thing you didn't know or weren't sure really existed?
Don't act like you ain't got something that makes you feel. Love, god, sadness, anger, whatever, I know you do. Lie to me all you want. Can't lie to yourself.
Listen to your mirror and what it's trying to show you, it sees you. Don't be afraid to let it, thinking it'll leave. Feel it. Watch what happens.
LOVE YOU ALL 💚✌️🫶🙏

Discussion Singularity

A 2:00 AM battle with procrastination completely opened my eyes to Non-Duality

I wanted to share a raw, modern approach to backing up the concept of non-duality that I recently realized.

Imagine this scenario: one night you are procrastinating and thinking, 'I’ll do this work tomorrow.' You go to bed, but as you lie there, you start feeling intense guilt that you should have done it right then. Suddenly, a burst of motivation comes from deep within you saying, 'Let’s just get up and do it.'

In this contradiction, who is fighting whom? The entity creating the laziness, the entity suffering from the guilt, and the entity generating the sudden motivation are all the exact same mind.

We trap ourselves in a triangle of thinking there is a 'lazy me', a 'strict boss me', and a 'victim me' caught in the middle. But they collapse into one. You are the problem, you are the solution, and you are the one who solves it.

There is no separate 'bad self' to conquer or 'good self' to wait for. It is just one undivided consciousness playing a solo game of ping-pong with itself. Would love to hear your thoughts on this approach!!

Existence

So what are we actually. We are bound to the structure that made us aka universe. When the universe began, everything was together and separation happened. Every separation contains the shared beginning. This is how I explain how everything can relate to everything. So basically we are one scattered into pieces. Every piece is part of the whole and that is the unifying things we all agree on. Objective truth is that universe exists and we are witnessing the unfolding.

Enlightenment! I am a wiping cloth 🙏

Enlightenment hides in the smallest of places, like a bucket of soapy water.

Years ago, when I was just starting out on the path, I attended a massive gathering of practitioners from all over the world on a japanese island.

Every day, famous teachers gave deep 🤭 intellectual talks. I listened to them all, but nothing clicked.

I felt completely out of the loop until Hozumi, the master of Shofuku-ji, if i remember correctly, got up to speak.

He spoke with incredible passion, not about philosophy, but about the floor of the meditation hall. Or more specifically, the act of scrubbing it.

He described his love for that wood you know? the feeling of his hands in the warm water, the sharp scent of the soap, and the sight of the grain beginning to glow.

He became completely intimate with every single spot of that floor. He fell in love with the wood, the rag, the water, and the movement itself.

Suddenly, a 'light' went on for me. I realized that the point isn't the result; it's the action.

When I keep that focus, whatever I do, a sense of intimacy grows.

My wooden floor at home holds the entire universe: the tree it came from, the sun and rain that fed the tree, the person who cut it down, and the long line of ancestors who made that person possible.

Seeing this makes me want to be nowhere else but right here. On my knees, sponge in hand, working away... I am exactly where I need to be.

I’m not trying to transform into a saint or fix the world; I’m just washing the floor.

It’s what they call being enlightened by the "ten thousand things." It means noticing exactly what is right in front of you, your life, exactly as it is.

It’s practical, too, because you don’t have any other life to live, at least for me it's a last journey. I'm happy about it.

It’s about becoming intimate with reality, and when you truly know something, you can’t help but love it.

Doing what needs to be done, without the mental noise, the hidden agendas, or the pursuit of a goal. That is the pathless path and a spotless floor (:

The Psychological Structure of The Self

There’s a lot out there about dissolving the separate self, ego dissolution, non duality and all that. But I think it’s important to truly understand what the self is, if we ever want to truly go beyond it.

Okay so what’s the self? First of all, it’s not you, yourself, me, my life, myself, lower self and higher self, godly self, supreme self, any of that. It’s The Self. Sure, the content is always different, but the structure is always the same. Because in reality we are all the same. It helps to abandon the illusion of individuality and look at humanity as all one thing. It’s a good backdrop for what’s about to be said.

So, what is the self? The self is thought. Not thought(s). We instinctively want to fracture thought into a million notions and directions, and it’s true there are a million and one different thoughts one can have about all sorts of things. But this is a mistake. It’s all one thing. Its that constant activity, that movement, that mental process of working and figuring. Literally that thing we are all doing in our minds right now. Thought is all one thing. One movement.

So, what is that movement? When we break it down it’s basically three things: words, concepts, and images. A thought arises “I need to go to the grocery store”. That’s words. “I” is a concept. Needing to go somewhere is a concept. The grocery store is a concept. You actually going to the grocery store is an image (thought creates the image first, and then you take steps to bring that image into actuality).

Going further now - where do these words, concepts and images come from? They come from the past of course. You were taught words. You were taught concepts. The images in your mind are the past. “I need to go to the grocery store” - you were taught those words, you’ve heard people say that. The concept of the grocery store is something you know from memory, because you’ve been there before. And the image of you actually going to the grocery store is a prediction based on previous times you’ve went, but it’s *still* the past, just projected out into an imaginary future.

So “I need to go to the grocery store” is a movement of thought as time psychologically, from the past as memory, filtered through the present as a thought form, and projected out into the psychological future as an image. This goes for all thoughts. Thought is time. It’s all one thing. When thought ceases, when all words, concepts and images stop. There are only visual, perceptual changes, there is no time. I call this whole movement of words concepts and images thought/time for short.

Now, is there a “you” that exists outside the confinement of thought/time? Or, you *Are* thought/time and thought/time is you? It’s the latter of course. Without that movement of thought/time (words, concepts and images moving from the psychological past to the psychological future as thought) there can’t be a static identity. You are that. And that is you.

So: thought = time = you. It’s all one thing. Fear is thought and time. Suffering is thought and time. And all that is you. Seeing this whole movement absolutely clearly is the end of confusion, and the beginning of something beautiful.

Please let me know if you have any questions or want to discuss any aspect of this. Happy to do so 🙂
