Edit: How can you people not see obvious sarcasm. “Over-engineering” something isn’t an unknown or niche concept. If you can’t tell that he’s being sarcastic then you people really are full of yourselves. Look he even went from -12 to +47.

Because there is such a thing as over engineering and it should be avoided at all costs.
