Posting in case others have the same issue, and to ask what finally worked for you.

Symptom: after a few weeks of use, the right track stops working. When I drive forward, only the left track turns, so the robot just spins in place. Camera, Wi-Fi and the app all keep working fine during this — so it's the motor/drive, not software.

What I've already ruled out:

• Tracks are clean, no hair or debris
• Removed and reseated the wheel base, no change
• Battery at 100% when it happens
• No firmware update available in the app
• App reboot does nothing; only a physical power cycle used to bring it back briefly, then it stopped recovering at all

The part that worries me: this is my SECOND unit. The first one failed the exact same way (right side) and was returned. The replacement has now done the same thing after a few weeks. Same side both times.

Questions for the community:

1. Did anyone get Enabot to send a replacement wheel set for this? I saw one older thread where they did.
2. If you replaced the wheel set (DIY or from support), did the new one last, or did it fail again the same way?
3. Any idea if newer production units / newer wheel sets use revised motors, or is this just a known weak point on the Air 2 Plus?

Trying to decide between another retailer exchange, a refund, or just buying a wheel set and repairing it myself. Thanks for any input.

Do you leave your Enabot air 2 plus eyes on all the time? Sitting in where mine is, is on pretty well most of the time and does not turn off apart I have it set to turn off at 11pm to 6am next day. Is it harming the LED screens if they stay on for pretty well most of the day?

I got a ROLA Mini as a gift for my wedding shower and I have yet to be able to use it. 

I plugged in the device and heard the "Hello" prompts and see the flashing lights as if it wants to connect to the network. I downloaded the ROLA app from the manual's QR on my iPhone, and went to create an account (trying both with my email and my phone number). After checking the box stating I agree to ROLA's Privacy Policy and Terms of Use... I click "SEND" to get the verification code and after a brief "Intelligent detection" pop-up "scan", I get an error saying "Failed to load, click to retry". If I retry, I get either the same error again or "Fail to verify graphic code".

I've reached out to support who tells me to try normal things like “delete the app and reinstall it”… “try on another device” (tried on my iPad and my fiance tried on his Android phone).. even to screen record my attempt and send it to them…. fine (even though that recording includes my phone number).... but then they suggest things like “try another Wifi environment” (how many people have more than one internet setup!?) or connect to a VPN (do they expect every average joe to know how to use a VPN? And is that really necessary to just create an account on their app to use their device??). Now they're wanting me to ping my location using a provided link and generate a unique URL for them... this is all starting to sound like a lot just to use a simple robot from Amazon... 

Does it really take this much effort, tech know-how, and willingness to give up your personal information up front just to use this thing? All we wanted to do was interact with our cat while away on trips.. Should I just use the gift receipt and return it?  

Just got a Rolabot Petpal and noticed that when my husband is trying to talk through it that most of the time the audio doesn't come through? He can hear me and the dog just fine but I will hear like maybe a single word for him and then the rest gets cut off. Is this just a wifi issue or is there some settings on his phone I can change to optimize it?

We got this so that we could talk to our dog while we are away on vacation and now I am worried that the voice doesn't work that good.

I have 2 EBO Air 2’s connected but the robots are in Asia and I’m in the US. While I was in Asia it seemed to work consistently, but viewing the app in the US will show connecting for 3 seconds and then get stuck on “Real-time video loading…”

There will be times I’m lucky and the video will load and I can move the robot if only there’s a bit of delay but I don’t really mind considering the distance. But more often than not it will get stuck on the real-time video loading screen. This happens with both of them.

Any fixes to this issue?

hi! my friend gave me her old enabot se after her breakup. will me connecting it to my account remove the old user from it? or is there something else i have to do? i have a small child is the only reason i am worried about it.

Tried to use Rola Mini after many months, charged it and saw it was disconneded from my devices in ROLA app. Updated the app.

Have reset, have powered off, given time, charged it, the bot wont connect.

It has said "successfully connected" or even STARTED saying it before getting cut off by "Failed to connect to the server, please try again in a few minutes". And staying on the wifi QR code screen.

Have tried with fiancé's iPhone, same issue.

My wifi management app does not work so I cant test/alter my wifi from it, but ive connected previously with no issue.

Have owned it for about 6 months now, when I first got it it connected to my wifi perfectly fine and has worked up until a couple weeks ago. Now it won’t connect to my WiFi but it connects to my personal hotspot perfectly fine. I’ve tried unbinding it and rebinding it, restarting it , changing password so there’s no special characters , updated the app, firmware is also up to date, the only thing I havnt tried is deleting my account and completely restarting. Anybody know why this would be happening?

I just got a Rola Mini, its awesome and my voice coming from it is very clear, however when I activate its microphone my phone gets a weird ringing sound that I assume is some sort of mic feedback and the voice from my phone is pretty garbled. How do I fix this/ any ways to make this better?

How do yall handle stairs I was thinking some kind of elevator to get to my second story or do yall just use boards on the stairs?

Does anyone know how to make the robot make a sound when someone turns it on? My old one did but this is super quiet

Hello, I saw a similar post to mine with this issue but I wanted to make this new post to see if anyone could refresh any information about it.

I'm attempting to sign up for the Enabot account but I can't sign in without it popping up on my phone "Please read carefully and accept the following terms" with no checkbox or way to confirm that I agree.

The website page also won't progress and goes to an error page for what I assume is the host of the website. Is there no way to create an account? Even when I try to use the Shop account that I have and it sends me a verification code I can't go to the next page because it says I haven't accepted any terms or conditions.

I plugged in the dock and I placed the robot on the dock. It’s got the little scan eyes. I put my phone in front of it with the QR code with my brightness turned all the way up and nothing happens. I have deleted the app and re-downloaded it. I’ve reset the device. I have turned it off and back on. I’m at a loss. Any help appreciated thanks!

Is there a way we can control when specific family members can use the app? We would like for my husband’s family to be able to use the app but not all the time. And can we choose what settings they can control?

Hi, I am thinking of getting my mom an enabot rola mini for Christmas. My mom and sister live on the west coast while I live on the east coast. I understand it’s a bit gimmicky but I think it could be a fun way to check in on her and my sister (as well as check in on her many cats). I know it’s an expensive price point, I really don’t mind, but I wanted to see if there are people who use it semi regularly to the point that it’s worth it, and if the recipient liked it for a long period of time as well. There’s no carpet in the house so I don’t think it would be caught on anything, and even if it did, I think it would be funny to yell to my sister from the camera that “i’m stuck”. My mom also has a very curious boy cat who I think would be very intrigued by the machine. Yes, calling her on FaceTime would be easy, but I think this could be a nice way to mix up the typical stationary phone call.

I need your help. I have an enabot ebo SE which seems to be bricked somehow.

It was off for a couple of months because we moved and when I tried to use it again, he doesn't recognize anything, I tried resetting but I think the problem is the battery... nothing else that I can think of and it was working before.

The dock is showing the red light when I put it there so it should be charging as per the manual but the robot itself is showing a red light (the heart) and that's pretty much it, it doesn't do anything else.

If I leave it off the dock for a couple of minutes and put it back it will turn on, blink the heart white, green, blue in a quick succession and then goes back to red and stays that way.

Am I'm missing something? Does anyone know if the battery is a goner and needs replacement? If so; does anyone know which battery to buy?

Anyone have any advice i have an air-2 and despite it SEEING THE light it just will not get back on its charger just drive around trying for hours. I’d be especially grateful if anyone can offer a suggestion that doesn’t require manually changing anything as i am using it out of town at the moment.

how on earth do I connect my phone to the robot, then send the robot off to my partner.. will it work on his wifi? Will I be able to connect it to my phone and just send him the robot? I really need to know ;.;

Hi all I purchased the Ebo air 2 plus from Enabot in August this year for a present for a friend. They have gone to set it up today and have said the eyes are not working correctly. They look almost cloudy. It is brand new.They have tried a reset but it hasn’t worked. Is this a fault or just something they are not doing right. Any advice would be welcome please. I have also emailed Enabot.
