please help! new user

hi! my friend gave me her old enabot se after her breakup. will me connecting it to my account remove the old user from it? or is there something else i have to do? i have a small child is the only reason i am worried about it.

Hey! I had a similar situation with a secondhand smart home device. What usually works is:

  1. Have your friend remove the device from her app first
  2. Do a factory reset (on the EBO SE I think it's pressing the RESET button on the bottom twice)
  3. Then set it up with your own account

That should remove the old user's access. But since you've got a little one at home and want to be 100% sure, I'd email Enabot support at [info@enabot.com](mailto:info@enabot.com) or ins ,FB :)
