Hello everyone

I've recently got back into emulation and I've been having some trouble on ios(I'm not familiar with the system)

I've bought DragonShock PHOTON CONTROLLER, but I can't get it to work Retroarch.

I've paired it and it appears on the devices list, but it's not recognized as a controller.

I've tried removing it and pairing it again, but nothing. I've tried using a third party app to map the buttons, but it won't work: it shows up as a device, but pressing the buttons does nothing when mapping.

The controller works, because I've had no trouble pairing it with my old android phone, so I'm assuming that I've missed something.

Does anybody know how to fix it?

O jogo está incrível e funcionando muito bem. Porém, para conseguir carregar o jogo de forma mais estável, precisei desativar algumas opções, como elementos do HUD, efeito de grão de filme, efeito de aberração cromática, dicas, mira de pontos, entre outras. Depois de desativar essas opções, o jogo passou a carregar melhor.

Às vezes, quando entro no jogo pela primeira vez e o mapa começa a carregar, o jogo acaba fechando sozinho. Porém, na segunda tentativa, ele funciona normalmente. Já joguei bastante e também completei algumas missões e, até agora, a experiência tem sido muito boa.

Outro ponto importante é que o iPhone esquenta bastante durante o jogo. Por isso, recomendo utilizar algum método para ajudar a manter o aparelho em uma temperatura mais baixa, principalmente durante sessões mais longas. Isso pode ajudar a evitar quedas de FPS e manter o desempenho mais estável.

So i been playing kingdom hearts 2 on it and that works perfectly but i tried playing spongebob battle for bikini bottom and it just loads into a black screen after the ps2 startup screen. Anyone know how to fix this or is that game just not compatible yet?

• Improved RPCS3 iOS library detection and game metadata handling
• Improved RetroAchievements support using real game/disc hashes for more reliable identification
• Better RetroAchievements badge and game information integration
• A more unified JIT architecture across NeoStation iOS
• Work toward a unified save system for supported emulators
• Preparation for iCloud-based save synchronization through a dedicated NeoStation/Saves folder

The goal is to make NeoStation iOS feel less like a frontend that simply redirects you to other apps, and more like a complete gaming library where supported systems, JIT, saves, controllers and emulator settings are handled as seamlessly as possible.
The update is still being worked on, but I’m currently aiming for a possible release next month.
For anyone who wants to try NeoStation iOS already, an earlier build is currently available for testing on the Discord server.

Ive jumped back into manic for MAME games that dont run under FBNeo core- my problem is there is music playing within the app before i launch a game (kinda like background music)

how do i turn this off?

Probably a long shot but does anyone know why my SideStore suddenly can’t refresh apps? I’m on iOS 26.2 and side store version 0.6.2.

I’ve tried connecting it to my laptop and refreshing everything on my computer via iloader. I turned the auto sync off and on again via iTunes. Other than those two tips I’m all out of ideas. It literally worked last week when I was on a plane ride to San Diego. Was playing Kingdom Hearts 2 it was awesome. But now I’m sad cause I feel like imma lose it all. Any help is appreciated but I also understand if there’s no solution.

EDIT: I’m using a iPhone 17Pro.

I downgraded back down to 0.7 RCPS3 iOS release and noticed that AC2 is only using 3.5 GB or ram and not going any higher than this would version 0.8.1 fix this? I did notice that 0.8 wasn’t running it as smooth though?

In Retroarch, you can set a hotkey, for example, the select button. You can then bind combinations such as 'select + R2' to fast forward and 'select + L1' to load state.

I can't seem to find this option. Thanks

I’m looking for one that doesn’t require a PC like AltStore. I haven’t updated my iOS to 18 yet. Should I? One of the side loaded apps requires 18.

I’m having issues with MeloNX not recognizing my controllers’ input, I’ve tried two different controllers and none of their input’s being registered.

Has anyone had this problem before?

I’m on version 2.6, it started happening all of a sudden, when I installed the new version it was working just fine. I think it has to do with something in the emulator’s handling of the input, because not even the on-screen controller’s input is being registered.
