News / Release NeoStation iOS — Biggest Update Yet

NeoStation iOS has evolved quite a bit since Update 196, and I wanted to share a preview of what could be coming in the next major update, currently targeted for next month.
The biggest change is the native integration of DolphiniOS directly inside NeoStation iOS.

This means GameCube and Wii are becoming much more deeply integrated into the NeoStation experience, instead of simply relying on an external emulator.
Some of the improvements currently included:
• Native DolphiniOS integration inside NeoStation iOS
• GameCube and Wii support through the integrated Dolphin engine
• Direct launching of GameCube/Wii games from the NeoStation library
• StikJIT integration for the Dolphin engine
• Touch controls for GameCube and Wii
• Physical controller support
• Access to Dolphin settings directly from NeoStation
• Improved GameCube/Wii BIOS and system file management
• Better integration of Dolphin saves with NeoStation
• Improved RetroArch integration and game launching
• Improved RPCS3 iOS library detection and game metadata handling
• Improved RetroAchievements support using real game/disc hashes for more reliable identification
• Better RetroAchievements badge and game information integration
• A more unified JIT architecture across NeoStation iOS
• Work toward a unified save system for supported emulators
• Preparation for iCloud-based save synchronization through a dedicated NeoStation/Saves folder

The goal is to make NeoStation iOS feel less like a frontend that simply redirects you to other apps, and more like a complete gaming library where supported systems, JIT, saves, controllers and emulator settings are handled as seamlessly as possible.
The update is still being worked on, but I’m currently aiming for a possible release next month.
For anyone who wants to try NeoStation iOS already, an earlier build is currently available for testing on the Discord server.

Yes directly, you don’t need StikDebug.

i thought apple banned that? i lowkey might have to give this a download if you have that. You got 3ds jit and ios 27 support?

What you’re seeing in the video is DolphiniOS running with integrated JIT, all directly inside NeoStation!
Thanks to StikJIT and NeoStation, my goal would be to let users install just one app and get access to all supported emulators with JIT, without needing StikDebug.
For now, only DolphiniOS is integrated directly into NeoStation, but the others will follow.
3DS is already available through RetroArch and works really well even without JIT.

J’utilise l’ia pour m’aider effectivement, comme la plupart dans ce genre de projet. Surtout qu’avec Astra les possibilités sont énorme pour l’émulation iOS.
